Welcome to Saddle Ridge, where life is hard and love is wild...

Maddox

I'm no stranger to hard work. I've got a family ranch that's on the brink of collapse, a grandfather whose health is fading, and a laundry list of other responsibilities that demand my constant attention.

Every sunrise brings a new fight. There's no time to worry about what might have been with the girl who got away.

But it seems I've avoided Amelia King for as long as I can.

One reckless ranch hand making trouble at her bar is more than I can afford. Her outlaw cousin and his gang of gearheads won't take kindly to the mess my man has made. So I swallow my pride and head into town to make things right.

The moment I spot her, she takes my breath away. Still gorgeous and igniting that familiar fire in my veins, just the sight of her brings back all of my memories. But before I can grab a broom or write a check for the damages, an unexpected phone call interrupts our chaotic reunion.

With my grandfather's legacy now on the line, I'm desperate to preserve it if it's the last thing I do. We're facing an enemy with a dangerous connection to Amelia of all people, and they're determined to stop me no matter who gets hurt in the process. As the stakes get higher, lives hang in the balance, so I do exactly what my sister begs me not to. Forming an alliance with the Fallen Demons Motorcycle Club could cost my family everything. But there's something more dangerous than going into business with the outlaws: admitting I'm in love with their vice president's cousin.

Have you ever wanted to mix up your cowboys with your motorcycle hunks??? Well Janine Infante Bosco and E.C. Land are delivering! Two brand new, interconnected series are dropping soon and you are NOT going to want to miss this sexy goodness! First up, Bosco develops the Fallen Meadows Ranch world with lots of family drama, ranching issues and a reunion of first loves. The characters are well developed, easy to like and filled with heart and sass. The set up for the merging of the ranch with the MC is really interesting and we get a lay of the character of the guys from the second series during interactions with Maddox. There is also a touch of intrigue mixed in as we try to figure out who is up to no good in town. I really enjoyed Maddox and Amelia’s story and look forward to more to come from this world!

A breath of warm air lifts the canvas opening of the tent to reveal a carpet of crimson petals within. Two bodies lie side by side. Mother and daughter are achingly beautiful in the glow of the twinkling fairy lights above, but their cold blue lips have whispered their last “I love you…”

As a heatwave chokes the small town of Denton, Maxine and Haven Barnes are discovered dead at a local festival, blood-red camellias pressed into their once-clammy skin. Detective Josie Quinn races through the crowds to attend the scene, horrified that something so disturbing could happen at a family event. Maxine was known to the police for issues with her abusive husband, but the trail ends there.

Hours later, a call rocks Josie to her core: another mother and teenage daughter are missing, with the same rare flowers left on their doorstep. And just when the stakes couldn’t get any higher, the missing women are linked to the most challenging member of Josie’s team, Detective Kyle Turner. He had a secret family he’s kept hidden from them all, and now their lives are in danger…

Clock ticking, it will take everything Josie has to break down the walls Turner put up to protect himself and the people he loves. But when tracing the flowers back to their origins has the killer within her grasp, a truth much closer to home reveals itself. And with it, more danger than anyone could have imagined. Can Josie bring this monster to justice before any more precious lives are taken?

Lisa Regan’s Detective Josie Quinn series is ALWAYS a winner, so I’m always super excited when a new one arrives on my reading schedule. Once again, it did not disappoint and we get to learn so much more about the co-worker they love to hate, Detective Kyle Turner. Highly emotional and captivating from start to finish! You won’t want to miss it.

Regan weaves a picture of a crime scene in a way that we feel immersed into the story and find ourselves invested in finding out who committed the murders. Josie and her family and coworkers always hold a special place in my heart as they’ve put so much of themselves into each and every book of the series. I’m enjoying seeing her and Noah grow and develop their relationship and strong foundation around them. Looking forward to more to come in the series!

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone that loves a police procedural with a core cast of characters that we can always depend on for being steadfast and attention grabbing. There is crime solving galore, but there’s also a ton of heart in each and every book.

I should’ve known Lincoln Pierce was trouble from the moment I held my knife to his throat.

I’ve been running for most of my life, hiding away in a small town and hoping no one discovers who I truly am. The only problem is that I can never let anyone know the real me. Or at least that was true until my brother moved his best friend onto our shared property.

Now, I’m stuck trying to avoid the nosy billionaire’s probing questions and piercing stares. And it doesn’t help that I almost killed him the first time we met.

Oops.

But when all my carefully crafted lies come crashing down around me, it’s Linc stepping in to shield me. And when it looks like the person hunting me for all those years is back, Linc will do anything to keep me safe.

Only it’s not just my safety at risk. It’s my heart. Because when Linc touches me, I lose all sense. And when I truly get to know the broken billionaire, he’s so much more than a ruthless business tycoon. He’s the man showing me that it’s time to really live.

But I’m not the only one with secrets. Linc has them, too. And when the forces from our pasts emerge from the shadows, it’s with only one goal: to end the new life we’re building together. For good.

The development of this series is top notch! Just when I think I’ve found my favorite sibling of the bunch, the next one comes along with a gut-wrenching backstory and has me loving them even harder. Arden has been a loner for the entire series and we knew from the start that she definitely had a story to be told, but I wasn’t expecting this one. Great connection with the characters, well developed plot, twists when we least expected it and lots of family heart and humor thrown in to mellow the time out a little bit. I couldn’t love this series or this family more. I can’t wait to see what they bring next.
