They say you never forget your first love.

What they don’t say is how hard it is to move on when he happens to be the trifecta: a brooding hockey player, your brother’s best friend, AND the keeper of your darkest secret.

I spent three years trying to get over Tytus Tremblay, only to slingshot right back into his orbit when we’re reunited at Holt University.

But Tytus isn’t the only man on my radar anymore.

I have a new enemy in the form of Mercer Eden, an arrogant, condescending professor almost twice my age who happens to be my boss. Then there’s his sweet, bashful best friend, Noah Henry, the owner of Evercrisp Orchard.

The pleasure Mercer and Noah offer me—individually, and together—is the primal distraction I live for. It just might be what I need to finally forget my first love and move on with my life.

But then Tytus makes a life-altering choice that affects us all, and one thing becomes abundantly clear: he never plans to let me go.

Highly addictive and intense! Twin college students Sawyer and Atticus Davvies and Atty’s best friend Tytus Tremblay have been best friends for years and are now additionally bonded by a trauma that occurred three years ago. Sawyer and Ty secretly lusted after each other before life led them separate ways and now that they are coming together to attend Holt University where he and Atty will be playing hockey, she wonders if things will heat up and finally come to a head. There’s a large plot hole where not much is filled in of what occurred with the three of them after their lives shattered three year ago, but we are quickly hooked on getting them settled at college and seeing where it leads.

Things with Ty get pushed to the side again as Sawyer gets drawn into something with the Professor who is her boss for the year. Mercer Eden is cold and direct and doesn’t think twice about putting her beneath him … in more ways than one! His best friend Noah is near and dear to him and helping him recover from great loss is important to Mercer. When Eden heads to the orchard that Noah owns to get set up for a class project she is helping Mercer lead as his assistant, Noah becomes someone special to her as well. A relationship quickly develops between the three of them, but Tytus is fit to be tied that she is no longer at his beck and call and stirs up a mess she’s not sure she can find her way out of.

Overall a very addictive story with tension and lies around a lot as passion plays a powerful part. Noah needed more development in addition to the prior three years for the twin and Ty. I enjoyed their story wholeheartedly!
