The concept is fresh, the humor is dark yet witty and the unlikely connection between these women is heartwarming. I’d love to see a series made out of these characters!
Beth’s plight was quick to catch my attention and as things just kept coming at her time and time again, I had to admire how she was holding her head up and pushing through. She was kinder than I would have been under the circumstances.
Gina has a skewed mindset when it comes to standards, but underneath it all she had a good heart and it made her fairly redeemable even though I secretly still had to hate her a little bit.
I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for humor, scandal and a bit of mystery.
