When you wish upon a rambling star, true love will lead you home...

Swoon-worthy rodeo champion Dixon Ramsey is used to playing the hero for Bandits Hollow, Colorado, whether it’s rounding up their wayward cattle or taking care of the town drunk. Yet he’s totally caught off guard when Tempest Wright, a popular radio show host, blows into the county fair with her eight-year-old boy and his Angus yearling in tow. Her son’s bull has become so cantankerous that he’s about to get them kicked out of 4-H, and Tempest is served an ultimatum—either get expert training from Dixon, or they can kiss the county fair goodbye. For the sake of her son, relationship-phobic Tempest has no choice but to trust this drop-dead gorgeous cowboy whose killer charm makes her want to head for the hills. Yet with a little magical help from Granny Tinker, Dixon shows Tempest a whole new world where love is real on the range, second chances are worth fighting for, and only the toughest cowboys survive—because they know how to stay.

Diane J. Reed sure knows how to write a swoon worthy cowboy! With the first book in her Starlight and Sagebrush series she continues to delight her readers with Bandits Hollow, Colorado folklore mixed with a bit of magic and lots of happily ever afters. RAMBLING STAR RANCH connects a rodeo champ with a single mom and a rambunctious little boy to bring life back to a wounded heart. I’m not loving the matchmakers quite as much as I did just the Iron Horse spirit in the previous series, but I still love the town and the cast overall. Looking forward to more in the series!

Tempest is quick to snatch our hearts when we learn what her recent past has been, and meeting her adorable son Owen just makes our heart swell even more.

Dixon is a doll. He has a good heart and a kind soul for the entire town and watching him fall under the spell of Tempest and her son is heartwarming.

I recommend this book to anyone who loves a sweet romance filled with small town townsfolk, happily ever afters and a touch of magic.
