Welcome to Fort Lauderdale—where the days are hot and the Knights are hotter…

Vaughn:
I might be at the top of my game, but a fresh start feels like the right move at this stage of my career. Joining the Lauderdale Knights has been a great decision, and I’m ready to win this city over.

On opening night the crowd goes wild… and so does my slap shot. Knocking a fan unconscious wasn’t the introduction I envisioned. Especially when I lay eyes on my gorgeous victim. Problem is… she’s engaged.

Juliet:
Waking up with a concussion and amnesia has made me realize that when it comes to living life on my terms, it’s now or never. My big Italian family means well, but it’s time for them to stop calling the shots.

Now if I could just get rid of my fiancé, quit my job, and stop drooling over the hottie hockey player who knocked some sense into me, life would be perfect. Except nothing in my life is perfect… not even Lauderdale’s newest MVP.

I’m already hooked! Kat Mizera’s brand new Lauderdale Knights series is already destined for success just by the few familiar faces she’s bringing in from her past series’, and this first book did not disappoint one bit. In SLAP SHOT, Vaughn sets out to rediscover himself a bit and falling for a fan sets the stage quickly. I loved seeing the groundwork go into this team and can’t wait to see them develop throughout.

Juliet is such a sweetheart. She’s a huge hockey fan and even getting hit in the head and knocked unconscious doesn’t dim her fandom. I loved watching her come into herself and set herself apart from her overbearing family.

Vaughn is complex and fun. He has a side to his past coming into play as he sets out to shine in a new phase of his life, and then adding the good fortune of meeting Juliet to the mix is icing on the cake.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a hockey romance with enjoyable characters, drama going on behind the scenes and a happily ever after building throughout. I’m highly anticipating more from this series!

Some mistakes haunt you forever.

Harlan Young knows that from personal experience. Walking away from Grace Townsend, even with the best intentions and no other choice, still haunts him to this day.

So when he had the chance to return to Montana, and be part of something as special as the Resting Warrior Ranch, he took it. Here he can help train service and emotional support animals for former soldiers with PTSD.

And maybe, just maybe, convince Grace to give him a second chance.

He never expected that second chance to be in the form of a fake marriage in order to save the land she loves so much. But he’ll do it, as well as help fight the danger closing in on her. She thinks she’s alone, but she’s wrong.

She knew him as a boy, but now he's a man. And real men don’t run.

High energy suspense! Danger is knocking as suspicious happenings are putting Grace on edge and in need of Harlan’s rescuing in MONTANA DANGER. The second book in the Resting Warrior Ranch series by Josie Jade and Janie Crouch does not disappoint as the reader is quickly hooked on finding out what’s going on with Grace’s ranch and unraveling the past drama between she and Harlan. I highly enjoyed this book from start to finish!

Grace puts up a good front of being self-reliant and tough, but she’s as sensitive and scared as the next gal would be in her situation. I enjoyed getting to know the ins and outs of what her past has been that made her who she is today.

Harlan is a man with good intentions that still pays for his decisions of years ago. I enjoyed him a lot.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys a group of former soldiers who not only overcome their own demons from the time they served on a daily basis but also set out to help all that they can around them.

Injured pro baseball player Ryan Bower has plenty of reasons for not sleeping. But thanks to a steamy romance novel that’s ignited the imaginations—and libidos—of pretty much everyone in Kissing Creek, Ryan’s kept awake by the sound of his parents. Having sex. Unforgivably gross. And Ryan is almost certain that the town’s adorably quirky and troublemaking librarian is responsible.

Sloane Rickman adores everything about her little town—with the exception of its very tall and infuriatingly sexy Golden Boy. Ryan Bower may be a ball-playing hottie, but where exactly does he get off telling her what books to recommend to her oddball little book club? Good thing he’s only in town for the fall.

Now Sloane and Ryan are stuck planning the main float for the town’s parade. But somewhere between arguments over paint colors and papier mâché flowers, their fights keep turning into red-hot kisses. And between Ryan's demanding ball career and Sloane's life in Kissing Creek, they face the biggest game of their lives…if they’re ready to play for keeps.

Adorably sassy! Stefanie London continues to bring a smile to her reader’s face with laugh out loud clarity in the second book in her Kissing Creek series. In KISSING GAMES, the town golden boy returns home to heal from an injury and butts heads with the quirky librarian that everyone loves. Fast paced fun, sexy connections and so many heartfelt emotions wrap themselves around your heart!

Ryan is tenacious and spunky and watching him fall head over heals for the one he professes not to like is really fun.

Sloane is sweet and sensitive and just feisty enough to make this read funny as well as heartfelt.

I recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys a small town setting with close knit community as love swirls in the air.

“All of Royal, Texas, wants to know who the father is.”

And a beautiful outsider knows the truth.

Rancher Colt Black is stunned to learn he has a secret son. And he owes Sierra Morgan big-time for bringing him together with baby Micah. What Colt feels for the intense reporter goes beyond gratitude, however—and that’s a problem. Indulging in the connection with Sierra is an irresistible risk, especially after she moves onto the ranch to help him with the baby. But soon Colt learns Sierra’s life-changing secret…and their newfound arrangement may never be the same.

Long awaited answers arrive in this fast paced, addictive tale! With the final book in the Texas Cattleman’s Club: Fathers and Sons series Joanne Rock is pouring on the feels when a long lost father is united with the son he didn’t know existed. Emotions are high, mistrust is at the forefront and a solid foundation into fatherhood begins to build. I highly enjoyed this series!

Sierra has been a complex character throughout this series. I had a bit of a hesitation regarding her initially because everyone feared she was only out to stir up drama, but in the end she became an endearing force in this reunion.

Colt is a character who has family ingrained into the heart of his very soul, so it doesn’t take any convincing to have him step forward.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys high drama, romance and mystery all mixed into one.
