Sage McKnight is an ambitious young architect working at her father’s firm who takes on her most challenging client in Mason Tucker. The former pro baseball player is still healing from the physical and emotional scars after a plane crash left him a wheelchair-using single dad, and he’s determined not to let anyone breach his emotional defenses. Sage knows her work on Mason’s new home in Hope’s Crossing is her best work yet, and she won’t let her grumpy client prevent her from showcasing her work personally.

With Sage’s gift for taking broken things and making them better, the matchmaking talent of the quirky locals and a generous sprinkling of Christmas cheer, Mason doesn’t stand a chance against the power of this magical holiday season.

A generous dose of sweet and sentimental holiday cheer! RaeAnne Thayne is giving long time fans the gift of returning to the fan favorite setting of Hopes Crossing this holiday season. The characters are endearing and easy to like, there is love and laughter but also heartache and angst in the mix as Sage and Mason and Taryn and Charlie figure out what life has in store for them if they can see past the pain from their past. I enjoyed every minute of ALL IS BRIGHT!

Sage and Mason both have come through a lot to get to the point where they are right now. She is sweet and sincere in helping every person she can in life while living with the sacrifice she made long ago. He’s grumpy, yet loving with his adorable daughter and looking forward from the pain of the past the best he can.

Taryn is hoping against hope that Charlie will finally be able to forgive himself for the past and move forward with her in the future that she’s always dreamed of. Both characters are kind and fulfilling and seeing them overcome their challenges is heartwarming.

I highly recommend this book to anyone that enjoys a bit of turmoil mixed with their romance while holiday festivities blossom around town.

She has no idea what she agreed to…

My printsessa thinks she’s taken a regular job for a regular lawyer.

She doesn’t know the devils that lurk below the surface now that she’s in my world. The bratva world.

Innocent, sweet, and trusting.

All the things I am not. All the things I never knew I wanted.

But I do now. And she’s mine.

Let someone try to take her. I’ll burn the world down around them to keep her. She’s my soulmate.

She doesn’t know her limits yet. I’ll take her there, then bring her back with my touch and my love.

Their instant connection steams up the pages! With the third book in the Ivankov Brotherhood series Sabine Barclay is bringing us Nikolai’s story. The characters are easy to connect with and I was hooked quickly by the plot and intrigue. I enjoy this family and their drama a lot, but the same old Daddy/Baby Girl kink from every single brother is becoming a true bore.

Niko is commanding and self-assured, but his heart is pure when it comes to his loved ones.

Anastasia is sweet and sincere, but her family secrets reveal how sheltered she has been.

I recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone that enjoys a mafia romance showcasing power and showdowns as each brother finds their forever.

Marleigh

One night was enough to change my life. I was taken, plucked out of my life and forced into hell. Gaining my freedom didn’t unshackle the chains around me. It made them tighten. I’m fueled by my need to avenge the wrongs done to me and those I was forced to leave behind. I’ll stop at nothing to achieve that.

I don’t need a brave knight riding a motorcycle and wearing leather to save me. He doesn’t agree. He thinks I’m a damsel in distress, but I’m focused on my task—destroying the man who ripped my world apart.

Machete

Marleigh needs to realize I’m not walking away and leaving her to face these demons alone. This fight is mine as much as it’s hers. We’ve been tracking the men who are operating in our city without our permission and we’re ready to bring them down. We’ll stop at nothing to return safety to our streets, but Marleigh seems determined to get in my way at every turn. She needs to back off before she gets hurt. She’s under my skin and as much as I want to deny it, I want to claim her as mine. The problem is she’s walking into danger and I’m not sure if I can save her.

Raw and exhilarating! With the third book in the Royal Bastards MC: Liverpool, England series we dive into the heart of the trafficking ring as the guys jump in to aid shutting it down. The characters are intense and easy to connect with. I feel like a lot was left hanging and felt a bit incomplete, but I enjoyed Marleigh and Blake and their resolution. Looking forward to more to come in the series.

Marleigh tugged at my heartstrings immediately and is easy to like and understand her heartache. She never expected to feel anything for a man again, but Blake is special.

Machete is tough and intense, but Marleigh brings out a soft side of him that no one has ever seen before.

I recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone that likes a tough and gritty MC series that takes on intense topics and weaves characters into our heart left and right.

When my ex-wife walked out our door, she didn't just take her belongings with her, she took my heart.

I was pretty sure it would never work again, but that was before my sister’s best friend showed up at my door. Beaten. In need of serious help. And my sister sent Emmersyn to me, knowing I’d do whatever I could to help.

Except doing whatever I can means getting married. Again.

We both know the score though, which means Emmersyn knows I’ll never love her. I can help protect her and our marriage secures her inheritance, but love? I’ve already ruined one woman. I refuse to hurt another.

We say I do, and almost immediately I realize spending this much time around Emmersyn will be my downfall.

I might be breaking my promise to her already.

Turns out, when it comes to love and women, I’m wrong about a lot of things.

Captivating from start to finish! With the next book in the always entertaining Las Vegas Vipers hockey series, we are taking a jump into a marriage of convenience trope with a vengeance. The characters are both super easy to like, the development of their relationship is spot on and though there were a few plot holes that could have been filled in a bit better, I wholeheartedly enjoyed Kane and Emmersyn’s story!

Kane is an all around great guy and I enjoyed seeing him get his happily ever after that he deserved. I wanted to know more about what went wrong with the ex though, that was left a bit vague.

Emmersyn is easy to like and sympathize with. She’s a bit naive in some of the things she did in the past, but I enjoyed who she was with Kane.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone that enjoys a hockey romance with a great group of guys meshing on and off the ice as each finds their forever love while enjoying great friendships.

I will never fall in love again… so what’s the harm? A few months of living together and we go our separate ways. At least that’s what I thought. Turns out, when it comes to love and women, I’m wrong about a lot of things.

A bomb-strapped body
A rookie cop caught in the inferno

After barely escaping a deadly explosion, Officer Alma Majors has one clue to identify the victim and solve the case: a sliver of bone. But it’s going to take more than shrapnel to expose the culprit. Bomb expert Cree Gregson will risk everything to protect his neighbor from a killer determined to avoid exposure. Protecting his heart may prove more difficult…

High intensity intrigue! With the third book in the Defenders of Battle Mountain series we are quickly thrust into the middle of danger and the action is intense throughout. I wanted more relationship development and a bit more details in their back stories would have been ideal, but the impact of the mystery and danger was top notch.

Alma is sincere and kind and looking to turn over a new beginning for herself in a new town, but she doesn’t expect her first case with Battle Mountain PD to overtake her life so much.

Cree is adept and knowledgeable in ways that are in demand even though he’s only passing through Battle Mountain.

I recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone that enjoys a fast paced mystery filled with action, danger and a hint of romance.

I’m Angel, the President of the Royal Harlots MC. My role is clear: take care of my club sisters and help defend our brothers in the Royal Bastards when needed.

When women start to go missing off the streets of the city, it takes the joint resources of both our clubs to find out why.

I never expected a Private Investigator to get in my way.

Joel is working on this case too. I want to protect him, just as much as he wants to protect me, but there is nowhere we can hide from the danger that is coming. All I can hope is that we both survive the oncoming storm.

*This book contains upsetting themes. It is a crossover between Royal Harlots MC and Royal Bastards MC

A fresh take on a tough and dangerous motorcycle club romance! I really enjoyed digging my teeth into this book of corruption and danger with the women being the enforcers for a change. The characters are interesting and the plot moved quickly and held my attention. A bit more development here and there and it would have been perfect. I’m looking forward to more in the series!

Angel is tough yet tender to those she takes into her heart. As the leader of the Royal Harlots MC she sees a lot in her life and isn’t afraid of doing what she has to in order to get results for those close to her.

Joel is kind-hearted and dedicated to helping families like his. He never expects to fall for the one person he has to ask for help.

I recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone that enjoys a gritty MC romance with a lot of heart mixed into the danger and menace.

Small-town landscaper Chance Monroe is a hands-on kind of guy. There’s nothing he can’t create or build, and he has a vision like no other. So when he and his best friend are tasked with spearheading Haven’s annual fall carnival, he’s ready to tackle this project head on.

Dance instructor Eden Clark doesn’t know how she got sucked into this volunteer position, but she is willing to help Chance make the fall carnival the best event their town has ever seen.

When too many late nights together stir up unexpected attraction, will they risk years of friendship for the chance at something more? Or will they play it safe and remain in the friend zone?

A delightful dive back into small town Haven, Georgia for a sweet friends to lovers romance! When best friends are forced to admit their attraction to one another, it makes for a tender romance filled with the love they already have for one another, plus the excitement and hesitance as they step into the unknown together. I love this series, so it’s always fun to jump back in … I would like more interaction with the characters we already know and love though so that it feels more complete.

Sleeping, unwelcome, on the couch of the woman most likely to cut him up and feed him to a gator probably isn’t the best idea.

Even if he deserves it.

Even if it’s for her own good.

Even if she makes him hotter than a Louisiana summer night.

Sexy, broody, FBI agent Spencer Landry is not leaving that couch until he knows that fiery investigative journalist Max Keller is safe.

Unless she lets him into her bed . . . again.

Erin Nicholas keeps giving me men to drool over and I really love that about her! With the first book in the Badges of the Bayou series, we get to get up close and personal with the delectable Spencer Landry and still hang out with some of our favs down on the bayou. I really loved Spencer and Max together and can’t wait to see what else the series has in store for us! Spencer is down to earth and approachable, but he’s intent on keeping everyone he loves safe after suffering past loss. Maxine is adorably sassy and I loved her tenacity in righting the wrongs of the world. I highly recommend this book to anyone that enjoys some intrigue mixed with steamy romance and downright laugh out loud moments as this close knit family continues to grow and delight.

How do you get over a woman you never should have been, ahem, under in the first place?

Gotta Be Bayou, an all-new grumpy-sunshine, small town romance from New York Times bestselling author Erin Nicholas is now available!

Just when FBI special agent Spencer Landry had decided to forget about investigative journalist Maxine-Max-Keller and their one hot night together, there’s a threat made against her and Spencer’s protective instincts get all riled up. Again.

So now they’re shacking up on the Louisiana bayou and pretending to be in love so he can keep Max safe until the guy is apprehended.

Considering their chemistry and that he can not stop thinking about the gorgeous-and-doesn’t-know-it, smart-mouthed, bold-and-yet-vulnerable redhead, this could be a fun few days, right?

Nope. She’s all wrong for him.

And she hasn’t forgotten he can be kind of a jerk.

Sure, the naked-times are great, but he told her exactly what he wants— a bubbly, sweet school teacher who bakes him brownies and loves to cuddle—and Max ain’t it.

Max not only doesn’t bake, no one has ever called her sweet. And cuddling? Shudder.

Plus his bossiness is super annoying for someone who’s been taking care of herself all her life. But now they’re stuck together and dammit, besides being hot and very good with his mouth, Spencer is pretty irresistible with baby goats, little kids, and attempts at baking. And don’t forget alpha-protective. All of which makes her stomach feel very swoop-y. No wonder her clothes keep falling off.

But this is a temporary situation and they’re only faking it. So falling for the guy is a terrible idea.

She really should have kept that in mind.

Keep reading for a look inside Gotta Be Bayou!

She’d fallen asleep on him.

Literally.

Well, her feet were on him anyway. Actually, her legs from the knees down.

She’d started just propped against the opposite end of the couch, with her crossword puzzle book open on the arm. She’d mostly focused on the puzzle, but he’d noticed her smiling and even laughing a couple of times at the TV.

Eventually, she’d propped her head on her hand and just watched. Then her eyes started drifting shut. Then her head was on the arm of the couch.

But when she wanted to get comfortable, she got comfortable.

She’d scooted down to rest her head on the couch cushion and stretched out. Including putting her feet in Spencer’s lap.

He’d had to catch her heels in his hands to keep her from kicking him in the balls.

And then he’d just held her feet, rubbing his thumbs along the arches of her feet, and absorbing the sound of her contented sigh and loving the way she cuddled deeper into the couch.

He’d wanted her to feel safe and be comfortable and relaxed.

Mission accomplished.

The woman was sound asleep.

At 8:30 p.m.

The episode ended and Spencer realized he didn’t remember a thing from what he’d watched. He’d been paying attention to Max.

Of course he’d started with the way her soft cotton shorts molded to the curve of her hips and ass. The way the matching tank hugged her waist and breasts. There was no way he could have ignored that. He was drawn to this woman and the part that didn’t confuse him was his attraction to her body.

Now, having those sweet curves within touching distance again and barely covered, absolutely drew his attention. But with her asleep, and him unable to really do anything, he also had the chance to simply study her up close.

Her eyelashes were pale and had a reddish hue. Of course they did. She was a redhead. But he’d never thought about the color of a woman’s eyelashes before. Now he was fascinated. Did she wear mascara? He was going to have to pay attention to see the next time she was awake.

She stirred, shifting, moving her feet against his hands and he stroked a hand up one calf. It wasn’t perfectly smooth. There was just a slight prickle, but he didn’t mind at all. In fact, he wanted to feel that against his thighs and hips as she wrapped her legs around him. It was real and he wanted to feel her legs in every stage from freshly shaved to haven’t-had-a-chance-for-days.

Wow, she was truly asleep. He should make her go to bed.

“Max?” he asked softly.

She didn’t even wiggle.

“Max?” he asked a little louder, squeezing her foot gently.

She just breathed in deeply, then out.

He should just carry her into bed. He could just scoop her up and take her into the bedroom.

Spencer shifted her legs so he could stand. Then he leaned over. She was on her side, so he pushed gently against her shoulder, rolling her to her back. She went with a sigh, one hand moving to rest on her chest. Perfect. Spencer slid an arm under her knees and one behind her back.

And everything was great until he started to lift.

She came awake suddenly. She kicked her legs, flailed her arms, and her head lifted instinctively to look around. Her forehead hit Spencer in the chin. Hard.

His head snapped back and his teeth clamped down on his tongue.

“Fuck!” he swore in surprised pain.

“Ahhh!” she yelled.

She was still kicking and waving her arms and he unceremoniously dropped her one foot back onto the couch cushions.

“Max! It’s me!”

She kicked out, her shin connecting with his thigh.

That fucking hurt too.

“Max!” He pinned her arms down against the couch. “Max! It’s Spencer!”

Her eyes were wide and not fully focused.

She just yelled again. “Ahhhhh!”

Dammit. The cottage next door was going to think they needed to call the cops.

Which was Zander.

Spencer did not want Zander showing up here, grinning and smirking and writing up a report about how Spencer had tried to sweetly carry Max to bed and she’d thought he was attacking her.

“Maxine!” he said sharply, putting a leg across hers to keep her from kicking and, against his better judgement, placing a hand over her mouth. “Stop it. It’s me.”

Her eyes flew to his as he put his face directly in front of hers.

“It’s Spencer.”

She suddenly went still. Her gaze focused and she stopped moving and he felt her pull in a long breath.

He waited another few seconds, making sure that she realized who was holding her down.

Slowly he removed his hand. “Okay?” he asked.

She drew in another long breath and blew it out. She nodded. “Yeah.”

“Holy shit, Max.”

“What happened?”

“You were sleeping like the dead, so I decided to carry you into the bedroom. And you turned into the Tasmanian devil.”

“Well, I’m not used to people picking me up in the middle of the night.”

That made him chuckle. “It’s not even 9 p.m.”

“Well… still.”

He liked that she was at a loss for words. That was unusual.

Slowly, he became aware of the fact that he was pinning her to the couch. With almost his entire body.

In spite of the fact that she’d been fighting off an intruder in her imagination and he’d been fearing for his manhood, his eyes, nose, and jaw, it didn’t take long for his body to register that this felt really nice.

The couch was big enough for the two of them to lie together. He wasn’t entirely on top of her, but almost half of him was pinning more than half of her to the cushions.

“I, um… didn’t mean to squash you. Self-preservation instinct.”

She smiled. “You’re not squashing me.” Her voice was soft and a little breathless.

Their gazes locked. “I did this, honestly, to keep you from hurting me or yourself. But mostly me.”

She wet her lips and nodded. “I believe you.”

“So, I could probably get up now. You seem a lot more calm.”

“Funny, I don’t exactly feel calm.”

His heart kicked against his rib cage. A moment ago she’d been ready to claw his eyes out. The moment before that she’d been so deeply asleep that she hadn’t realized he was even there. But now, her gaze was hot and she was breathing fast, and she was definitely not wearing a bra with this pajama set.

Spencer’s entire body responded. “You fell asleep really fast. And very deep,” he said, his voice husky.

“I often fall asleep on the couch. Never that deeply, though. I guess I felt really safe with you.”

Damn, he liked that. He felt the corner of his mouth curl. “Until I tried to pick you up.”

“Sorry. Instinct.”

“Honestly the cop part of me is very glad that your instinct is to fight hard when someone does something unexpected.”

“Good.” She gave a little nod. “I guess that means you just need to be sure I’m expecting anything you do.”

He nodded slowly and his gaze dropped to her mouth. “Good idea. For instance, if I was going to kiss you, I should make sure that you knew that.”

She nodded. “Right.”

“Max.”

“Yeah?”

“I’m going to kiss you.”

“Good.”

Lioness. That’s the first word that comes to mind when I see the brilliant redhead selling cupcakes at the hockey arena.

With the soul of an artist and the spirit of a nomad, Bea Turner is gorgeous, quirky, and refreshing.

She’s also my teammate’s little sister.

As the Tennessee Thunderbolts' Rookie, I should steer clear. I’m here to play hockey and provide much-needed financial security for my family. To do that, I need to avoid distractions.

Bea doesn’t just distract me; she flips my world upside down. One bad joke has me pursuing her. One date and I crave more. Calling her mine? Well, now I’m dreaming of a future.

The life of a hockey player — trades, travel, uncertainty — isn’t for the heart of a creative. Bea desires adventure and possibility, not early morning skates and strict exercise regimens.

When I’m thrust into a situation at odds with Bea’s dream career, I know I can’t hold her back. If we’re meant to be, we’ll make it work. But what if we’re not?

What if my greatest regret is letting my lioness go?

An undeniable connection! With an absolutely adorable meet cute, Gina Azzi brings us Cole’s story with the third book in her Tennessee Thunderbolts series and I really enjoyed seeing he and Bea find their way through family drama and life’s ups and downs to make it towards that happily ever after.

Bea is just the sweetest. She’s sincere and down to earth and family is above all other in her eyes.

Cole takes dedication to a whole knew level in his commitment to hockey, and watching Bea claim her place in his life is super heartwarming.

I recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone that enjoys a hockey romance with delectable characters that aren’t afraid to bring life lessons to the forefront in their story. Looking forward to more in the series!

Coen Highsmith was a league star, but he lost more than his team the day the Pittsburgh Titans’ plane crashed. Can he be saved from his downward spiral of guilt and regret to become the man he once was?

I had it all—a successful hockey career, the respect and adoration of the fans, a rotation of beautiful women warming my bed, and a feeling of self-worth and contentment with the direction of my life. But that all changed the day the team plane went down, taking my only chance of redemption with it. Now I’m left with the daily reminder of all my failures and my inability to correct them.

My new teammates are tired of my attitude and following my suspension, I hole up in a mountain cabin to get away from all of it. The isolation is exactly what I need to get out of my own head, and I’m beginning to think I could be content in this quiet forever.

Tillie Marshall isn’t the type of woman who would usually catch my attention, yet she manages to do so for all the wrong reasons. I’m here for the peace and seclusion but the quirky artist is hell-bent on destroying that by cutting down the trees that separate our properties so she can open a pottery studio. If it’s a fight she wants, it’s a fight she’ll get. I have the money and the time and no issues bringing her down through the court system. While I see flashes of steely determination within her, I’ve found that being a jerk comes naturally these days and she won’t be hard to intimidate.

Unfortunately, that gorgeous and somewhat odd neighbor who has been causing me grief is creating another type of feeling within me. And once that spark is lit, Tillie displays a faith in me that for the first time since the crash I desperately want to believe. Now it’s time for me to step up and become the man—no, a better man than I once was.

This unlikely pair will knock your socks off! With the fourth book in the Pittsburgh Titans series Sawyer Bennett once again proves that she can redeem a jerk of a bad boy and make him golden again. The foundation of this series has been emotional from the start and being one of the lucky three who remained makes Coen the hardest hit of all. Watching his transformation is really heartwarming. Loving this series!

Coen is riddled with guilt and despair and is throwing his career away in redemption. Making a mad dash to the hills to isolate himself for awhile does him a world of good … and so does meeting his sassy neighbor that pushes all of his buttons.

Tillie is a ray of goodness in Coen’s otherwise bleak world and while she doesn’t set out to do it, she actually brings his heart back to life again.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone that enjoys a hockey romance filled with passion, drama and so much heartwarming goodness.
