Just enjoying Naomi and Donovan’s insta-love story would have been rewarding enough, but to have a reunion with some of our Hot Cake friends was a big ol’ bonus that filled this reader’s heart to the brim. Loved this book so hard!

Donovan is sexy, self-assured and has a heart of gold so watching him let his guard down and actually let this crazy family take him under their wing was really fun to see.

Naomi was a really special character to watch develop. She knew she wanted him basically at first sight and when the time was right, she dove right in. I loved their story!

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys laughter, extreme warmth and love overflowing at the seams in their romance. This family is hilarious and we all wish we could be a part of such a group.

Cooper is an awesome dad and an overall doll, so he was easy to be hooked on from the very first scene. I loved his devotion to his girls, but also his ability to let the love around him ease his disappointments.

Erika was the perfect match for Cooper and his girls. Fun loving, loyal and full of heart.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who loves a hockey team who rally around each other in the game and as brothers outside of work as one after another finds their true love.

On point characters, a tense undercover assignment and a reunion he never thought he’d get to enjoy kept me hooked throughout. I’m looking forward to more in the series.

I really enjoyed Shawn’s character because not only is he down to earth and sincere, but he also takes his responsibilities to heart.

Frankie is inspiring. She’s been through a lot in life, but she has bounced back stronger than ever and is determined to get the job done no matter what.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys a close knit group of cops who each have a lot of spunk and grit as they support each other through the next case and finding a forever love.

Brianna is understandably weary after carrying a heavy load in her family life. She tries to resist the pull towards him, but life keeps putting him in touching distance and a gal can only resist for so long!

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys a low key rock star story with really fun characters, sexy love stories and more heart than you’ll know what to do with.

Bonnie finds herself once again tied up in the heart of a murder investigation in her idyllic small town with her sidekick cat by her side. This time her grandmother Gigi is the suspect and Bonnie is bound and determined to prove her innocence … even if she has to rile up the handsome new sheriff in the process!

I recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who enjoys a humorous small town story that showcases a mystery for the main cohorts to solve in each book.

Highly addictive chemistry! First loves reconnect in this enemies to lovers twist on a second chance on love story. With the third book in her Brooklyn Nights trilogy Joanne Rock delights her readers with Tana’s story in THE STAKES OF FAKING IT and it did not disappoint. The tension was high, the characters were easy to connect with and the happily ever after was divine. I really enjoyed this series!

Tana is kindhearted and hoping to live her dream as an actress, but the return of her first love and the man who ended up hating her is going to be a distraction. I enjoyed watching her settle the life she once led with the person she wants to be.

Chase is understandably holding a grudge, but the fact that he didn’t let Tana explain before jumping to conclusions when their relationship fell apart makes him a flawed character … lucky for him it’s easy to understand his frustration with the situation and he was fairly easy to redeem in this reader’s eye.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys seeing a trio of roomies who were thrust together by happenstance but who became dear friends to each other rally together as each finds the man of their dreams and settles into their happily ever after.

A reunion to remember! The first book in Catherine Mann’s Top Dog Dude Ranch series brings an emotional start with LAST-CHANCE MARRIAGE RESCUE. The back story of this family had me up in the feels quickly and getting to know how each of them felt as their marriage was crumbling before their eyes while their precious daughters watched made for an emotional journey of healing. I am excited to see where the series takes us next.

The adorable twin daughters in this book took center stage as they finagled a family trip out of their parents as one last hurrah before the end they all could see coming. I enjoyed them very much.

Nina was my least favorite character as I felt she was a tad too unforgiving, but had I been in her shoes I might have felt the same, so she was easily redeemable.

SLAY BELLS RING is the first book in The Wedding Bell Mysteries series by Nancy Robard Thompson and it definitely kept me guessing right up until the end. An intriguing plot was quick to catch my attention and the delightful cast of family, friends and townsfolk had a witty charm that carried the storyline well. I’m looking forward to more in the series.

Maddie and Jenna Bell make an adorable mother/daughter team in wedding planning and mystery solving in this delightful small town gem. The wedding of the year is all they’ve been working on but when the groom and Jenna’s ex-boyfriend winds up dead, this dynamic duo will be stepping on Maddie’s suitor and chief of police Jackson’s toes to follow the clues.
