He’s not the only one who needs saving…
But maybe they can save each other?
Dark, brooding, dangerous…and possibly suicidal. Renegade rancher Justin Cade was exactly the kind of man former army chaplain Brielle Thompson needed to avoid after escaping the horrors of Afghanistan with an honorable discharge—and PTSD. The whole point of moving to the remote Rocky Mountains of Colorado was to leave the darkness behind, not fall back into it. But falling she is…
A heartfelt story of redemption! Returning to Carbondale, Colorado for another Cade family story is always a pleasure. This family is very tight-knit and always entertaining as they try to make it through one day at a time as they all recover from the loss of a brother and continue to pick up the pieces of their lives moving forward. Justin is the ones that was hit in a unique way by Jesse’s loss because he was his twin, his other half, his mirror. Watching him find a way to start to see the other side of the darkness is a very powerful story. He wasn’t my favorite brother, but I enjoyed his story! Looking forward to more to come in the series.
Former Army chaplain Brielle Thompson is hoping moving to a quaint town in the Colorado Rocky Mountains will be the salvation she needs to be able to heal from the trauma she’s seen and the PTSD she still suffers from. She needs to be helping someone, but in a controlled way so that she doesn’t get too attached.
Justin Cade hasn’t cared whether he lived or died for years now. Losing his twin brother made him feel like he’s drifting alone in a world he doesn’t like anymore. One dare devil stunt puts him right in Brielle’s path, and the restitution he has to give is going to be beneficial to more than just the lovely lady!
