A night they’ve kept a secret.

A relationship that has to stay professional.

Until a snowstorm strands them together…

Sara Hawthorne can’t pretend the passionate night she spent with an anonymous stranger never happened…especially when Ian Ford shows up at her distillery. Keeping things strictly professional becomes impossible when they’re snowed in together. The enigmatic journalist’s past is cloaked in mystery. But as passion reignites, Ian and Sara must both lay bare their deepest secrets. Will shocking revelations shatter their idyll? Or give them a second chance at love?

The conclusion to the Angel’s Share trilogy is seductive and oh so satisfying! The final sister meets her match in the form of a secretive one night stand who turns out to be not so easy to walk away from. I loved their story and enjoyed seeing the sisters interact and settle into their new lives. I wanted a little more logistical follow through of how the relationship was all going to play out in the end, but overall a satisfying read with lots of passion and emotion.

I recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys a high powered group of sister’s making their way in a successful business world and letting love in when it crosses their paths.

She keeps finding trouble…

He keeps finding her

Adele Blackwell Kane can’t seem to not get arrested. In fact, the pretty widowed mom of twin girls might be Sheriff Grady McMillan’s favorite not-quite-a-criminal. But keeping Adele out of trouble is hard work—especially when Grady wants out of Wyoming for good. When Adele decides to rescue the town from developers, Grady wonders if his quirky felon might be stealing his heart, too…

Fast paced, addictive and oh so adorable! With the fourth book in The Blackwells of Eagle Springs series Cari Lynn Webb is picking up the reigns for Adele’s story, and it was a delight. Her adorable kids steal the show, and her string of bad luck keeps us turning page after page to get to the bottom of the mystery. I am enjoying this series so much and can’t wait for more. I wanted a smidge more to the ending, but overall it was adorable and heartwarming.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys a close knit family feeling their way through overcoming adversity as love comes knocking on each siblings door.

Can one winter kiss…

…defrost a frozen heart?

Widow Chloe’s new gardening commission is the perfect excuse to avoid Christmas. When she discovers that her complicated new boss, Beau, also hates the festive season, they agree to mutually dislike it together! Scarred Beau has lost everything and sealed his heart off for good. But Chloe breathes fresh air into his life and together they embark on an unexpected, blistering affair. Will their Christmas together be the miracle they never knew they needed?

Michelle Douglas quickly captivated my heart with the emotional turmoil she magnificently unraveled! The characters each have a heart-wrenching back story that sets the stage for the drama they must overcome to find their happily ever after amidst the holiday season. I enjoyed every minute of Chloe and Beau!

I highly recommend this book to anyone that enjoys personal growth and healing as a setting point to a new romance.

Kill first, ask questions later.

It’s the instinct former-SEAL Jude Williams must fight every time someone touches him. His six months being tortured in an enemy prison camp may be long over, but he’s got scars—all over his body and mind—keeping that time at the forefront of his psyche.

So how could he even consider giving in to the desire he has for the town’s coffeehouse owner?

Lena Mitchell has big gray eyes and a bigger smile—she’s full of life, right down to her purple and teal streaked hair.

There are so many reasons Jude should stay away from her. So many ways he’s bad for her. But when danger shows up on Lena’s door, keeping his distance is no longer an option.

He’ll protect her from any threat.

But who will protect her from him?

A delight from start to finish! Jude and Lena have been dancing around each other for awhile now in the earlier books in the series that centered around their friends and coworkers, so it was like hitting the jackpot to see them finally come together and admit their feelings. I loved every minute of this book, both the romance as well as the emotional depth and in particular the tense intrigue around the sabotage going on in their lives. I’m looking forward to more in the series!

The characters of this series are well-rounded and continue to grow in depth as each book centers on other aspects of their lives. I like the down-to-earth likability of them all and also enjoy the humorous times they manage to share even after pouring their hearts out with each other and others they are helping to re-integrate into life. I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone that enjoys a band of former soldiers who believe in doing the work to overcome their adversity and paying it forward when they manage to find some goodness in their lives.
