I really enjoyed my first trip to Cedar Ridge Lake! I loved getting to know the Kincaids and look forward to going back and catching up on the previous two books in the series. They are a family with plenty of drama between them and surrounding them, but with good old fashioned love for each other running deep!

Army Special Forces officer Jacob Kincaid is on leave after a tough mission in Afghanistan and has decided to return home to Colorado to reunite with his estranged family. He’s renting a cabin on the lake, and biding his time until he meets up with his Mom and siblings, when he stumbles across a beautiful redhead using his dock.

Sophie Marren is broke, seasick and pissed off at the male species. She has nowhere to live but this boat that she hates, but she’s determined to stand her ground and stand on her own two feet. She and Jacob butt heads, but they also send sparks flying from their very first encounter. As she deals with getting her life back on track, and he stumbles through making things right with his family, will they decide to find comfort in each other?
