Addictive, angsty goodness! Vale is on fire with delivering delectable characters, meaningful happily ever afters and family life galore with her Don’t Date Him series and I’m totally here for it. This one centers around pro soccer player Magnolia Baker and biker high school teacher/turned CEO Beaufort Vanderbilt. She’s living life for her late sister and he’s wishing he could get rid of his nightmare. Both characters have a strong back story and family drama following them everywhere they go, so watching them casually hook up, then become so meaningful to each other while juggling life and turmoil was a lot of fun. He’s sweet, sincere and sexy as all get out. She’s determined, diligent and delightfully head over heals quickly. Great characters, combustible chemistry and lots of angst that they make it through beautifully. Loved every minute of them and looking forward to more to come in the series!

Top notch follow through! If you’ve been a fan of Mizera’s Royal Protectors series, you will love this spin-off because we often still get glimpses of royalty and all their friends as this series delivers on more suspense back in the US. This book is Elliott Rageis and Luna Gallagher’s love story and it is packed full of danger, twists and information overload and I loved every single moment. The characters are both really easy to like, we are familiar with the team surrounding them and the way they fall hard for each other is just simply addictive. I have loved Rage in all of the glimpses we’ve had of him through the time of him bodyguarding and seeing him so sweet and sexy with Luna only added to my adoration. I highly recommend this book as well as the previous book in the series to anyone who loves a tight knit, like family security firm that takes on exhilarating cases and always makes time for friends and family.

A modern day Cinderella story! With the second book in their New York Vipers hockey series, Bennett and Keenan are matching team owner Julian Langley with his temporary chauffer Harper Hawthorne. The draw was subtle, yet distinct and getting to know each of them better was rewarding. Both characters have a back story that makes their life what it is today, but the fact that he doesn’t open up about his makes for a bit of a disconnect once they reach a certain point. I liked the plot, and the characters both had a lot going for them. I’m looking forward to more to come in the series.

My favorite character by far was Harper. She doesn’t hesitate a bit to give up anything she needs to in order to make sure her little brother has the life he deserves, and that really touched me.

I recommend this book as well as the first in the series which I loved even harder, to anyone who enjoys a hockey romance with a whole lot of heart attached to each and every character.

The Angelhearts have been doing a fine job of wrapping themselves around reader’s hearts, so getting to the center of what really happened with dad Cooper all those years ago is really rewarding. This book is filled with heart, redemption and so much mystery. I love that Margo stood tall in her faith about her dad, and seeing her finally get some answers just feels right. The family as a whole is great and I know there is so much more to build on for them all and hope we will continue to join them as one mystery after another comes into their lives as their family settles back into a peace they’ve been greatly missing. Well developed characters, a fairly good follow through of keeping a reader up to date on past happenings even if they are starting with this book in the series and great chemistry as they right wrongs.

I highly recommend this book as well as the rest in the series to anyone who enjoys a tight knit family of investigators who have had their share of ups and downs in life and with each other but always stand behind one another when the going gets tough. Great intrigue and relationships.

Suspenseful and filled with lovable characters! Stewart is returning with book four in her intriguing Circle of the Red Lily series and we are reunited with lots of familiar faces and friends. If you’ve been following the series, you know Sutton and Blake well from the time we’ve spent with the group, so it’s easy to route for them falling into a romance. I’ve loved getting to know her and her niece and nephew and although he showed a side we didn’t know in the previous book, he had always been solid and helpful prior. The mystery continues to stump us as they look for answers as to who is behind the Circle and what their true objective really is. I enjoyed Sutton and Blake and look forward to moving even closer to getting the answers we’re striving for soon. This particular book drug a smidge since we didn’t get a whole lot further in our quest for answers, but there was a little bit of a forward momentum and some Hollywood dazzle in addition.

I highly recommend you read this series in order so you can fully get the context of what has happened previously. Tidbits are glossed over here and there throughout, but to get to the heart of what happened to each couple previously, you need to dive into their book. I’m looking forward to solving this case soon!

I really enjoyed their story overall with the gentle kind heart of Fitz taking center stage. Jennifer was not my favorite Foster heroine by far. She was really too standoffish for my liking, no matter what her past hang ups were considering what a wonderful man was right in front of her. Due to that disconnect, the story drug a bit for me. I loved Fitz and liked her well enough as a person just not as the one for him considering how little she seemed to appreciate what he had to offer. But overall, I was pleased at how it all worked out for them. I’m looking forward to seeing them again in the continued series.

Sure to please angst and addictive characters! Sawyer Bennett once again is delivering all the feels we need with her latest hockey series, Portland Wildfire. Locke is withdrawn from life and lives with simmering rage at the drop of a hat. He’s a top notch player, but his steadfast anger gets the best of him more often than not. Livia crosses the lines quickly when attraction between the two of them leads to a connection he was never expecting. Both characters are easy to like and I really enjoyed getting to the bottom of his past. I felt like there was not a resolution there that could have added even more angst to the plot, but I enjoyed the storyline none the less. Her past also catches up to her during their story and again was left hanging a smidge by not learning the outcome of how it all played out. I am enjoying this series quite a lot and really enjoyed the owner too. I can’t wait to see how more of the team finds their happily ever after as the series continues.

Highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys a hockey romance instilled with emotional depth and real life problems playing out as the spotlight characters finds his one and only and struggles to make the changes he needs to in order to keep her.

She relocated to Montana to have her bro in her life, and she suffers every day for it with her asthma. When she crosses paths with Huxley, she only has added incentive to be happy she now calls this town home. The characters are both endearing with strong stories behind them and their easy connection makes them easy to like. His family added a lot to the storyline and her past that ends up following her is unreal. Great characters, addictive storyline and another heart grabbing Vale happily ever after.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys a fast paced story filled with good-hearted guys who find their happily ever after in the most unlikely circumstances.

Sweet, sincere and utterly delightful! The next book in Kat Mizera’s Pucks & Penalties hockey series is a really fun one! We’ve seen Viktor a smidge in both of the previous books in the series that centered around West and Bodi finding their true loves and now it’s his turn … but in a very unconventional way. He needs to get his matchmaking mother off his back and Holly needs rescuing from a loan shark. What could go wrong right? The characters are both really sweet and easy to like, they each have family oriented back stories and they simply fit really well as they mesh their lives together. Their story is well developed and even had me falling for his fam in the end. I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys a hockey series with teammates that not only are friends, but also roomies and great support systems in life. I’m looking forward to more to come!

Intensely passionate goodness! With the fourth book in her Hurricane Heat MC series Bliss is turning on the charm when Hawk meets high school principal Veronica and turns her life upside down. The characters were easy to like, I enjoyed their chemistry whole heartedly and enjoyed the personality mix. I wanted more development as a whole of their relationship through every day life and not just a short term situation to feel their depth completely. I also want more MC interaction in this series. They are there and are solid guys, but the amount of time of them interacting together is fairly light. Enjoying the series and looking forward to more to come.
