“Just because we leave the party doesn’t mean the night has to end.”

Rancher Xander Currin won’t commit to anyone after tragedy broke his heart. But when his feisty ranch hand Frankie Walsh puts herself at risk to secure her future, his protective instincts kick in. He offers her a ticket to the rich and connected at the Texas Cattleman’s Club gala. But soon combustible desires consume them both…and someone’s going to get burned.

Great characters with lots of steam! With the next book in the Texas Cattleman’s Club: Houston saga, Joanne Rock brings a very likable couple to life while uncovering more secrets in the series. The sexual chemistry was spot on and they were a joy to get to know. I would have liked to have seen a bit more of her story told and seen them enjoy life together a bit longer at the end, but overall it was a great book and I hope to hear more about them further in the series. Loved it!

Ranch hand Frankie Walsh has been crushing on her boss for awhile now, but never in her wildest dreams did she expect him to actually take an interest in her. Accompanying him to a Texas Cattleman’s Club gala is a dream come true … and the way the night plays out is even better!

Xander Currin has been holing himself off from the world since a tragedy left him questioning everything around him. He feels more alive in Frankie’s company that he has in years, and that’s not something he’s finding easy to ignore!

Excerpt

“Frankie, wait.”

Touching her had been a mistake—he knew it as soon as soon as his fingers landed on her sleeve that he wanted to linger. To glide his hand up her arm and around her shoulder to draw her closer. But he could hardly yank his hand back like he’d gotten scalded without revealing just how damned much she affected him.

So he let his fingers rest lightly where they were.

“I was hard on you tonight. Let me at least walk you to your door so I can tell myself I made an attempt to be a gentleman.”

“You’re my boss, not a gentleman,” she argued, then frowned. “That came out wrong. What I mean is–.”

“But as you pointed out earlier, we’re not on the clock tonight.” His fingers grazed her bare skin on the underside of her wrist, a surprisingly tender spot where he could feel her pulse thrum fast.

Her green eyes were wide in the glow of the dome light.

“Right.” Her voice was all rasp and no substance. She cleared it. “Okay.”

He slid his hand away and stepped out of the truck, walking around to her side.

He reached up to help her down, but she hopped out on her own. Wary of his touch? Or stubbornly proud?

Maybe a little of both. She was an intriguing woman.

“Thank you.” She chewed her lower lip and peered up at him in the moonlight. “What time will I see you tomorrow?”

His gaze zeroed in on her mouth, his own suddenly dry as dust.

“I’ll pick you up at seven.” He was already questioning the wisdom of this bargain he’d made with her.

If she was affecting him this much now, what would it be like tomorrow night when they had a whole evening together? Already, the memory of the feel of her made his hands itch to touch her again. He hadn’t thought this through well at all.

She nodded, her dark braid sliding down her shoulder. “And, just so I’m clear, will we be off the clock tomorrow too?”

Was she flirting with him? Or was he reading too much into it because he wanted her?

The tension of holding himself back was quickly knotting his shoulders and they’d been together less than an hour.

“I’m going to let you make that call. You can tell me how much of the evening you want to be business and how much should be…” He couldn’t think of any way to say it that didn’t sound like a come on. “Pleasure.”

She must have heard it too, because her lips parted in soft surprise.

“Good night, Frankie.” He was already imagining her in an evening gown and liking what he saw.

He played a dangerous game letting his thoughts wander there, but he’d be damned if he could stop himself.

And with a silent nod, she pivoted on her boot heel and disappeared inside her cabin.

I’m kind of a lady, but definitely more of a weirdo.

Hearing the woman at the table behind him say that to her friend should’ve turned Logan Gibbs off.

It doesn’t. In all honesty, it only makes him listen harder.

He’s had enough weird in his life to last a lifetime. The last thing his complicated life needs is a woman in it who has no clue what color you get when you mix yellow and blue together.

Yet, her obvious blonde moments aren’t enough to deter him. Nor is her lack of finger-painting skills.

I’m a cop, not a miracle worker.

Hearing the man in the group behind her say that should’ve had Katy Roberts running away as fast as her feet would carry her. Katy’s father’s a cop, and it’s hard enough to live her life with Daddy trying to dictate her every move. She needs another cop in her life like she needs yet another thing to go wrong.

To add onto that, she can’t find a job, has no love life to speak of, and has to be the oldest known virgin in Kilgore, Texas.

Yet, when she sees his painting—a painting that resembles a piece of the male anatomy more than the lighthouse they were supposed to be painting—she knows that she has to give him a chance.

The very last thing the two of them expect is for her father and his boss to force them to marry after an eensy-weensy accident. An accident that, surprisingly, both of them want.

A fast paced, steamy, unputdownable read! Lots of familiar faces show up in the kick off of Lani Lynn Vale’s Kilgore Motorcycle Patrol series. The characters are quick to grab a reader’s attention, and though their relationship happens quickly, the connection between the two makes it feel believable. Lots of sass, a touch of suspense and a whole lot of yummy goodness! Looking forward to more in the series.

Police officer Logan Gibbs has a penchant for getting into trouble, so his newly appointed motorcycle patrol stint is kind of his last chance before he’s booted out the door by the boss who just doesn’t like him. If only he wasn’t accidentally lusting after the boss’s daughter to top it all off!

Katy Roberts is starting a new job and life is looking up until finding out that her maniac ex is soon going to be out in the world again sends her reeling into panic attacks and night terrors. Good thing the studly cop upstairs has decided to keep an eye on her. It doesn’t take any time for sparks to fly and flames to ignite!

Excerpt:

Sierra woke up as the car turned off, the motor coming to a stop. She shook her head and looked around at the unfamiliar surroundings. Trees were visible outside the windows, and a glittering sign said Paradise Cove, and beneath it, A Couples Only Poconos Resort.

“You have got to be kidding me!” She glanced at Ryder in disbelief. “What the hell are we doing in the Poconos?” She’d obviously fallen asleep for a good two hours, the shock of the day along with the glass of champagne she’d had prior to the non-wedding catching up with her.

He treated her to his most charming grin. “You always said you wanted to honeymoon here. That it was romantic.”

“I was seventeen!” she yelled at him. “I didn’t know any better. And we aren’t on our honeymoon.” She glanced down at her white wedding gown, not missing the irony of the situation but in no mood to find it funny.

She and Jason were supposed to be on their way to St. Lucia tomorrow morning. Instead she was in the honeymoon capital of Pennsylvania. Her stomach cramped at the reminder of all she’d left behind earlier today. Although she’d texted Sebastian from Ryder’s phone, she hoped her brothers weren’t too worried about her. She’d left her own phone in the bridal room and couldn’t know whether Jason had tried to reach her or not. But her brothers knew she was with Ryder, and if Jason wanted her, he certainly could contact them and find out how to talk to her.

Instead she was in the Poconos with her ex.She looked at the man who’d driven her over one hundred miles from home and waited for an explanation.

He placed an arm behind her seat, turning to face her. “By the time I realized how far I’d driven, we were half an hour from here. I couldn’t think of anywhere else to crash. And I wasn’t about to turn around and drive another two hours home.”

She frowned at him. “So now what? You expect me to stay here with you?”

“Would it really be so bad?” he asked, his voice gentling. “I understand you’re angry with me, but we’re here. It’s late. Let’s just go inside and see if we can get a room.”

The very idea of it was crazy. Nothing good could come of her being alone with Ryder now, and she really shouldn’t have left with him. But it was too late to take her actions back now.

She blew out a resigned breath. “Fine. But I hope they have a gift shop,” she muttered, needing a change of clothes because nothing about this trip had been thought through.

She climbed out of the car and Ryder helped her gather the train and fold it up so she could hold it over one arm. Then together, they walked into the main area of the resort and headed to the reception desk.

“I assume you have a reservation?” the woman behind the counter asked, her gaze traveling over Ryder in his suit, Sierra in her white gown.

“Umm, no. But we’d like a room for a couple of days,” Ryder said with a smile.

“One night,” Sierra countered.

He frowned at her and the girl behind the desk looked confused. She typed something into the computer and glanced up at them. “Our honeymoon suite is booked and we only have suites, not rooms, but I’m sure you’ll love what’s available. All of our suites have round king-size beds beneath celestial ceilings, log-burning fireplaces, and heart-shaped tubs or champagne-glass-shaped whirlpool spas.”

Sierra felt her mouth drop open at the description. It was everything she’d seen in commercials as a young, love-struck girl dreaming of romance.

“I don’t think–”

“We’ll take one,” he said, cutting her off.

The clerk looked back and forth between them, a definite furrow between her eyebrows. “We can only offer you two nights. I’m sorry but we’re booked after that.”

Before she could utter another word, Ryder slid his credit card across the counter. “We’ll stay both nights. And the airline lost our luggage, so do you think you could hook us up with the basics?” he asked.

She was grateful he was thinking of everything, even if she was still annoyed with him. Besides, she was beyond uncomfortable in the wedding gown, and Sierra hoped the woman could help them.

The clerk’s gaze softened at the mention of missing suitcases. “That’s awful and frustrating. I’ll send up toiletries and amenities,” the woman said. “There are bathrobes in the rooms, and the gift shop and stores open tomorrow morning. You’ll be able to pick up more things to wear then.”

“Thank you,” Sierra said, appreciating the woman’s kindness.

“We’re grateful for anything you can do,” Ryder said.

He slipped a tip across the counter and the clerk glanced down and grinned at him. “Thank you. I’ll call housekeeping right now. In the meantime, here are your key cards. Breakfast and dinner are included. A continental breakfast is served in the room tomorrow. I’ll even throw in some parts of our honeymoon package,” she whispered to Ryder, making Sierra wonder how much money he’d given her.

No matter the amount, she had no intention of making use of their specialty package, she thought, exhaustion seeping into her bones despite her long nap. The day had been overwhelming and was definitely catching up with her.

She unwittingly sagged against him, and his arm immediately came out, wrapping around her, holding her for the first time in forever. It took all her willpower not to lean her head against him and let him take over.

“Come on, sweetheart. You look dead on your feet,” Ryder said, and taking her by surprise, he swept her into his arms.

Just like a real bride.

Excerpt

What just happened?

Apollo Drakos stood slack-jawed as the woman sashayed down the hallway, but to be honest her sashay was more like a waddle. A cute waddle, but still a waddle all the same.

How could she still be pregnant?

His attorney had assured him the baby was born, though no one had been able to tell him if it was a boy or girl. Not that it mattered to him. Either way, he was still claiming his niece or nephew.

The attorney had gone on to inform him that Miss Costas would have a strong case to gain full custody of the baby, as well as control over the child’s inheritance. The attorney even seemed to think that with Miss Costas being adopted and not the child’s biological aunt, it wouldn’t be enough to sway the judge from giving her custody. But did Popi really want to take on that responsibility? Or was she doing it out of necessity?

Apollo knew he had no one to blame for this mess but himself. While Popi had been here, helping to make his brother and sister-in-law’s dream of a family into a reality, he’d been off on another adventure—avoiding the fact that he was the unwanted son, the outcast. But he’d come here as soon as he’d heard. That had to count for something, didn’t it?

But how was this going to work now that he knew Popi was still pregnant? Although it did look as though she was going to give birth soon. Not that he was an expert on pregnant women. Yet all of her was thin except for her stomach. It was very round indeed. Funnily enough, from behind you couldn’t even tell she was pregnant. However, the cute little waddle did give it away.

It wasn’t until now—seeing Popi round with a baby—that he realized how much she’d done for his brother and sister-in-law. Not everyone would step up and offer to carry someone else’s baby—certainly not him, if that were even a possibility.

Gathering himself, Apollo pressed his lips together in a firm line. Who exactly did this woman think he was? And where was she moving to with his brother’s baby?

The baby belonged at the Drakos estate, which was situated just outside Athens. It was a place Apollo rarely visited. Though the vast estate was aesthetically beautiful, it held many dark memories. When Apollo was a kid, it felt more like a prison he so desperately wanted to escape. While his older brother, Nile, had been cast as the “good son,” Apollo had been labelled “worthless” by their father.

Apollo slammed the door on the bad memories. But no matter how many times he turned his back on the past, the door would eventually creak open once more. He’d heard it said that you can’t outrun the past. He should know—he’d been trying for years and it was still just a blink away.

He needed to concentrate on the here and now. Everything was such an utter mess. If only he’d have come home when his brother had asked…

JUST ONE OF THE GROOMSMEN
Getting Hitched in Dixie Book 1
By Cindi Madsen

Addison Murphy is the funny friend, the girl you grab a beer with—the girl voted most likely to start her own sweatshirt line. And now that one of her best guy friends is getting married, she’ll add “groomsman” to that list, too. She’ll get through this wedding if it’s the last thing she does. Just don’t ask her to dive for any bouquet.

When Tucker Crawford returns to his small hometown, he expects to see the same old people, feel comfort in the same old things. He certainly doesn’t expect to see the nice pair of bare legs sticking out from under the hood of a broken-down car. Certainly doesn’t expect to feel his heart beat faster when he realizes they belong to one of his best friends.

If he convinces Addie to give him a chance, they could be electric…or their break-up could split their tight-knit group in two.

Hiding the way he feels from the guys through bachelor parties, cake tastings, and rehearsals is one thing. But just asTucker realizes that Addie truly could be the perfect woman for him—he was just too stupid to realize it—now she’s leaving to follow her own dreams. He’s going to need to do a lot of compromising if he’s going to convince her to take a shot at forever with him—on her terms this time.

EXCERPT

He took hold of her hand and ran his thumb over her knuckles, and corresponding zips fired up her arm and twisted through her core. “But you’re a softie, Addison Murphy.”

“Say somethin’ like that again, and I’m gonna push you in for reals.” It came out too breathy to effectively scare him. Not that she thought many of her threats scared him anyway.

His low laugh danced across her nerve endings. “Wouldn’t you miss me too much?”

Obviously he was kidding, but her eyes met his and her thoughts turned literal. She’d already missed him for two years, and if she ruined their friendship by pushing for more, it’d almost be worse than missing him, because she’d have to do it while living in the same town. “I really would.”

Using his grip on her hand, he drew her in for a hug and she let herself relax into it. As much as she could, anyway, considering her whirring thoughts and racing heart.

The quiet crept in again, neither of them moving. As if both of them were scared of what might happen if they said or did the wrong thing. Or maybe she was alone in that. The more she thought about the complications that would come about if she told him her feelings for him were growing stronger—and in a totally not platonic way—the tighter the band around her chest became. Fear took over, whispering how crossing lines could ruin everything between them, and then she’d lose him all over again, but for good this time.

It probably makes me a coward, but I can’t risk it. Too much could go so very wrong.

Addie broke the hug, glanced at the water, and steered the conversation down a side street. “A few years ago, we went to visit some of my mom’s Yankee cousins, and one morning while we were there, I woke up to a scream that made me shoot right out of bed. I seriously thought I was rushin’ toward a crime scene. My cousin had gone to take a shower, but there was a spider in one corner. I grabbed a tissue and killed it. Then I told her at least you could smash a spider; if you stepped on an alligator all he got was mad. She seriously looked at me like I was from the backwoods.”

“You are from the backwoods.” Tucker swung his arm, encompassing the lake and the shadowy trees along the shore. “Exhibit A.”

“Well, counselor, I prefer to think of it as the front woods.” She shivered as the breeze kicked up a notch, and Tucker rubbed his hands up and down her arms. He noticed so much, and she couldn’t help wondering if he could see right through her. If he already knew she’d been warring with her feelings for him.

Alexander “Rush” Markov has been given an ultimatum by his team—shape up or ship out.

Alex is celebrating his biggest season in professional hockey, and he’s enjoying every minute of it—perhaps a little too much. He’s been non-stop partying like a rockstar since his team won it all, and management isn’t pleased. Next thing Alex knows, he’s been exiled to a remote island with orders to lay low, stay out of trouble, and avoid one-night stands.

Rosalind Newcomb is the quintessential good girl, and she’s fine with her role. Sure, she gets lonely and wishes for a special someone, but the choices on Madrona island are slim to none. When a panty-melting mystery man disrupts the peace and quiet in her bookstore, it’s dislike at first sight. The infuriating man turns her ordered life upside down and inside out and has her thinking about hot summer nights and tangled sheets. Only Alex isn’t who she thinks he is, and love isn’t all hearts and roses.

As Alex battles who he pretends to be and who he really is, he also resists falling in love for the first time in his life. His intense feelings have him ready to bolt, and only he can decide if love is worth fighting for.

I've been many things in my life: daughter, friend, student, lover, wife…and now, widow. Getting past those labels and finding who I could be without them was the hardest thing I've ever done.
Then I became friends with Brendon Connolly.
Every time I look at him, I see a past, I see a present, and I’m afraid if I look too hard, I’ll see a future.

~~~
I've known Harmony Wynham since before she got married. Before she lost everything. I didn’t know that one day she wouldn’t be just my friend but the woman I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.
Only I don't think that can happen.
Not when every time she looks at me, she sees what she lost, and I can only see what I can't overcome.
I love her, even though I shouldn't. Somehow, we need to find a balance.
Because if we don't, walking away will be the hardest thing I've ever done—even if it's the only thing I should do.
An emotional journey of healing and finding love again after loss! With the second book in the Fractured Connections series, we get Harmony and Brendon’s stories. She lost the love of her life and has been trying to figure out who she is now that the person she was and the future she had planned has been shattered. He still suffers from the scars of his childhood, but is determined to bring his recently reunited family forward in their journey with the bar. They were friends who drifted apart and are now friends again at just the right moment when each of them needs a support system. Only when feelings start to become stronger than friendship, neither of them knows how to react. The characters were both very compelling and the story line was ripe with emotion, heartache, and that glorious road towards a new normal and a new happily ever after. I really enjoyed it and look forward to more in the series!
Harmony Wynham had her world pulled out from under her in the blink of an eye when she lost her husband to a freak accident at 25. He was the love of her life, her soul mate, the person she just knew she was going to be with forever … and then he was gone. She went through the motions like everyone expected her to, and now she’s to a point where she’s trying to figure out who she is without him.
Brendon Connolly was childhood friends with Harmony, then he was friends with her husband. He was there when her world ended. Now another tragedy brought them back into contact and it’s been great. They talk, they laugh, they enjoy each other’s company, they reminisce about Moyer … and then things start to change. How can he be feeling more than friendship with the past that they share? Is this allowed? Does she feel it too?
Sweet romance with a hint of intrigue! With a return trip to the Shores of Indian Lake series by Catherine Lanigan, we are always sure to find ourselves enmeshed into the heart of the small town culture very quickly. The supporting characters are always familiar with much loved updates on some of our favorites being weaved into the current story, and each new edition brings us a new couple to fall in love with. Violet & Josh were very easy to connect with. She is eager to do her job, and he’s living the life people can only dream of, but still has a heart that’s partially back in that life that wasn’t so easy. They are faced with adversity, but attraction wins out when they can’t resist starting a relationship even though they are at odds and keeping secrets. The intrigue was spot on, the relationship heartfelt and overall I loved their story!
Rookie cop Violet Hawks takes her job seriously, so when she apprehends a dangerously fast speeder in her hometown of Indian Lake, Indiana and he gives her flack, she doesn’t hesitate to cuff him and take him in … no matter who he is!
Infamous race car driver Josh Stevens eventually admits he was in the wrong, but he doesn’t have to like the fact that the pretty cop took his ego down a notch when she threw him in the slammer! Taking some mandatory downtime finds Josh returning to the small town that he’s determined to win over after his little skirmish with the law … but let’s admit it, it’s his arresting officer that he’s really interested in wooing!
“Do you know what a Bugatti Chiron costs?” Trent Davis asked as he paced his office while Violet stood near his desk. Many times in the past she’d felt like running from confrontation, but this time wasn’t one of them. Deep in her belly, as much as Chief Williams and Detective Davis believed she’d bungled this assignment, she knew she was right. Josh Stevens might be a celebrity. He had fame, fortune and influence. And she was barely more than a traffic cop, but Josh had questioned her authority. She’d clocked him speeding. Anything over a hundred miles an hour was considered “reckless driving.” She was in the right, and she would stand her ground.
“A lot, I presume.”
“It’s so expensive, Officer Hawks, that I had a difficult time finding the price.”
“Sir?”
Frustrated he said, “I don’t care about the car or its cost. My point is that you left your post at the stakeout farmhouse.”
“Sir, I was told that Miguel Garcia was known to drive a very expensive sports car. The Bugatti fits that bill. I thought I was chasing Garcia.”
“That’s your first mistake, Officer. You assumed before you had the facts. Sal was working the database and had found that Garcia drives a Maserati 2016. If you had checked in with him, you would have known that.”
Violet remembered how fast the Bugatti had streamed past her. She knew what a Maserati looked like. But she’d never seen a Bugatti Chiron. They were both fast cars. It was an understandable mistake.
She promised herself that over the weekend she’d comb the internet for images of every expensive car made. She’d log them into her brain and the next time a Bugatti  sailed past her, she’d know what she was looking at.
Trent was still pacing.
“What color is the Maserati, sir?”
Trent halted, lifted his head and cleared his throat. “Blue.”
Violet’s eyebrow cranked up in surprise, and she quickly corrected her expression. Blue. Well, she had that one right.
“The bottom line is that I’m disappointed in your work. The next time I give you an assignment, you carry it out.”
“Sir. Yes, sir.”
“Dismissed.”
Violet turned sharply and left the office. She went straight to her desk, avoiding Sal’s and Trey’s eyes. Trey was getting coffee, which was odd, because he didn’t drink coffee.
Violet halted like someone kicked her in the back. It was probably for Josh.
She couldn’t forget the look in his eyes when she’d put him in the cell.
Josh was her first lockup. Her first arrest.
As she’d ushered him into the cell, she’d felt her heart squeeze in her chest. Two steps inside the cell, his broad shoulders had slumped and his face had gone ashen.
Shockingly, he’d thanked her.
Why?
What kind of man thanked an officer for showing him his limitations? His vulnerability?
The unique kind.
When he’d looked at her, his blue eyes weren’t malicious. They actually held gratitude.
Every assessment she’d made about Josh Stevens from the second of his arrest was shattered in that moment.
Suddenly, she wanted to comfort him, but she didn’t know why. He was her prisoner. He was in the wrong.
Yet she’d nearly reached for the bars to touch his hand, to reassure him.
Josie listened to the farm stand cashier explain.
“Clint, went into baseball and then, all of his grandsons went into baseball and the granddaughter… well, she left Last Stand long ago. Cal’s been in the majors the longest, and I like, never see him around here even though I’ve worked here since last fall.”
So Cal had been keeping secrets from her—of sorts. Or had he assumed she knew about his family full of athletes? His job explained the expensive car and clothes, the body toned like a machine, maybe even the wariness that dogged him. She imagined pro players were hounded by hangers-on who wanted to be a part of their world for selfish reasons.
But not her. She’d prefer to put ten paces between herself and anyone who was remotely famous. She needed to avoid the spotlight at all costs until the trouble at home died down.
The phone vibrated three more times and the girl burst into laughter. “Sorry!” she apologized to Josie. “I knew Darlene would go nuts when she heard.” She picked up the phone and flipped it over, eyes scanning fast. “She wants a picture? Oh God, how can I get a picture?”
Josie figured she’d lost her audience, but since the coast was clear, she couldn’t resist asking one more question.
“You said he got cut this season?” she asked, wanting to be sure she’d understood. “As in, lost his spot on the team?”
The clerk nodded. “It was so awful–”
“Josie, let’s go.” Cal’s voice startled them both as he came through a back door on the opposite end of the store.
She scrambled back from the counter while the teen dropped her phone. Josie hurried past the blueberries and melons to the archway where Cal now stood, his expression stony.
Had he overheard her question? Guilt swamped her even as she kicked herself for not being more careful.
“Ready,” she announced brightly, peering past him into the greenhouse that connected the barn to the farm stand.
“Are you certain?” His voice was low, just for her ears, before he took her hand and tugged her into the greenhouse behind him.
A fan whirred overhead, conditioning the air that smelled like potting soil and growing things. He tipped a metal door closed behind them. A door that closed silently and reminded her how thoroughly he’d startled her when he re-entered the store.
“Absolutely.” She wanted to say it with conviction. To move on and see the bee hives. But her heart was beating too fast with him holding her hand.
And standing too close to her.
His green eyes probed hers, his nearness making her recall his very intriguing male physique. Was it really her fault to feel a flare of feminine interest when he was a professional athlete and had the body that went with it?
“Make sure you know what you’re in for, Josie, before you say yes.” His voice lacked the geniality that she’d heard him use with the young baseball fan. It was all gritty edged and hard now.
And did something wicked to her insides. Something she couldn’t allow herself to feel so soon after another man had deceived her.
Nerves made her blurt the first thing that came to mind.
“I signed on for bee hives.” She’d been very clear about that from the outset, hadn’t she?
Cal released her hand, but he didn’t back away. “Except now you’ve broken our truce by asking questions. So in return, I’ve got a few questions of my own.”
