Titch

As Road Captain of the Untamed Sons MC, I've had my share of pain, but nothing could prepare me for seeing my ex-wife move on with another man. It makes my demons want to come out to play, makes me want to destroy everything in my path. I love Rachel. I'll always love her, but she's no longer mine. Getting her back is my only focus and to do that, I'm willing to cross lines I shouldn't.

Rachel

I never expected my feelings for Titch to remain as strong as they were when I first married him. Getting a divorce was my first mistake. My second was trusting my new husband. He has secrets that put me and my sons in danger. I shouldn't be thinking about my ex, not now that I have a new man on the scene, but every thought I have is about Titch. He's the light in the darkness and he makes my heart beat faster than it has in years.

When I discover my husband has been hurting my child, I fall into the arms of the only man who can save us all. Titch.

A reunion like no other! Sparks fly and tempers flare when Jessica Ames brings us the next book in her Untamed Sons MC series, TITCH. I loved the story as a whole, but I was left wanting more development into healing their relationship and moving forward to make it feel more satisfying. Looking forward to more to come in the series!

Titch is a solid guy who will do anything for his family … only he figured that out a little too late.

Rachel was too quick to throw Titch over because of youth and impetuousness, but seeing the love they still feel for each other is sweet.

I recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who enjoys a motorcycle club filled with solid characters, occasionally shady practices and hearts of gold.

She’d been betrayed too many times to hand over her trust.
I’d lost too many people to love too easily.

Together, we were a mess. A constant struggle for peace. Yet it was in each other we found everything we were looking for.

Until tragedy struck and I feared the worst.
Pushing her away would have been the best. Kept us safe and unshaken.

But it was too late. My little fighter had determined what she wanted, and she was willing to go down swinging to finally earn her happily ever after.

It was her determination that kept us together, even through the worst of it.
If we finally made it to the other side, all the ugly things we’d survived could lead to something beautiful.

A powerfully emotional journey of healing. With the second book in her Love and Lies Duet Stacey Lynn brings all the emotions and feels to the surface as Lilly uncovers the secrets that Hudson has been hiding. I wasn’t quite as captivated in this half of the story as I was in the first, but as a whole the duet was beautifully written and a strong emotional journey.

Lilly has fallen for this family just as she learns they are an addition to the list of lies that have been fed to her throughout her life. Watching her grow the strength to figure out what’s real and what’s not is a rewarding.

Hudson is a really nice guy, and though he was part of the subterfuge, he never had ill will against Lilly.

I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys an emotional read filled with characters who aren’t perfect, but who love hard.

Excerpt from All the Ugly Things:

She worked in a shithole diner and probably lived in a shithole place when she was the daughter of a state judge, probably grew up in private schools with a Mercedes gifted to her on her sixteenth birthday and more money than my own parents had. This shouldn’t be her life. She’s better than this. Better than her circumstance and I believe her. She just needs someone to help. The memory of Melissa’s pleading eyes made me squeeze my own eyes shut. “Fucking bleeding heart.” Since she could walk, she had a calling to save everything from kittens and frogs and turtles in the road to classmates and children where she worked. One last request. Promise me. I’d wanted to throttle her slim, pale throat. I gripped the door handle and scowled at the silver-plated handle, before I threw it open. “Happy now?” I asked, and somehow, I knew she was. Lilly was still in the back when I entered. Where Dad said she always stood, there was an old laptop with notebooks spread open. I took the seat at the far end and waited, snagging a menu from the counter on my way. The food was cheap, basic diner food, perfect for the clientele a place like this brought in. Greasy, thick burgers, patty melts, and Reubens. Sandwiches and burgers and two salad options. It was late enough none of it appealed to me. Probably why my dad came for the pies. Fortunately for me, he’d said they were the best he’d ever tasted, and I’d inherited his sweet tooth. The creak of old, squeaky door hinges rang out and I lifted my head. Lilly came out carrying a tray stacked with food, focused on the four-top. I didn’t move for fear of distracting her. Not a great first impression to make if she ended up covered in grease and condiments. The guys at the table did more shoulder-slapping, whooping and hollering like they were watching the Super Bowl and not their food being delivered. I kept my eyes on them, waiting for one to give me a reason to put an end to all of them. The dark-haired guy would be first. He sat at the outer edge of the booth and as Lilly leaned forward to deliver a tray to the guy next to him, his hand hovered inches from her backside. The blond across the table egged him on with a nod but she stood back, put space between them, and barked, “Even think of touching me and none of you are leaving with your dicks still attached to your body.” “Oohh. I’ll show you mine happily,” one said, hands dropping to his lap. She glared at him, resting bitch face I was certain she learned in prison firmly in place. It didn’t look right on her. Too hard. Too forced. What would she have been like as a smiling, happy teenager before life was stolen from her? Damn it. I felt it then. That pull my dad had when he first saw her. She’d lost too much.

Hunter
Timing. Hockey careers are made or broken on it, and mine has taken exceptionally broken road. I'm not a star. I'm a grinder, I work hard, and I'm finally at the point I can put the past behind me and get the fat, long-term contract I deserve.

But my agent--the man who stuck by me through every crash and burn--has had a heart attack. I need another agent now, or my one chance for the good money will slip through my fingers. Kate's a rookie, but she loves the game like I do, so I pick up the phone. And I wonder if she remembers that one night in Cancun as vividly as I do.

Kate
Hockey. All my life I've lived it, breathed it, played it. Now it's my business. As an agent, I'm tied to my phone at all hours, but nothing prepared me to hear Hunter's voice. The last time I saw him--three years ago--there was a lot of bare skin and horny hormones involved.

I've handled it all in my short career--sexism, harassment, being broke, being laughed at. Resisting the attraction between us should be easy. Until it isn't. And Hunter's past shakes his confidence hard enough that he could make the worst decision at the worst possible time...

Their undeniable attraction is sure to please! With the third book in her always exciting Bears Hockey series Kelly Jamieson brings us a reunion story showcasing the one that got away. The characters where attention grabbing and while I didn’t find the overall story as enthralling as the first two in the series, the tension was high and the happily ever after was very satisfying.

Hunter easily finds a place in the reader’s heart once his past is revealed and his love of the game and good-heartedness solidly keeps him there throughout the story.

Kate is independent and a real go-getter with a solid heart underneath her tough gal persona. I enjoyed getting to know her very much.

I recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys a hockey story filled with romance and a close-knit group of friends and teammates who make for a powerful story.

Excerpt

We walk into the bright and sunny apartment. Being a corner unit, it has lots of windows, and the décor is light and airy, all pale gray and white. “Cute place,” I say. “Thanks. It’s tiny but I love the neighborhood.” “It looks like you.” Kate gives me a skeptical look. “Organized. Tidy. Modern.” She gives me a long, impassive look. “That’s me, huh? Tidy?” Shit. There I go again. I called her tough that night and I think she was insulted. Now I’ve done it again. “Well, not right now,” I admit, eyeing her sweaty hair and face. That probably didn’t make it better. “You’re not wrong.” She sighs and sets the bear head on the small island. “Okay, help me get this off. I really need to pee now.” We wrestle her out of the costume, and I try not to notice that I’m touching her. Under the getup, she’s wearing a thin tank top and a pair of tiny, tight black shorts. I swallow hard. One hand grazes her bare arm. Then her thigh. I hear her sharp intake of breath and my gaze lands on her nipples, now hard and poking against her bra and tank top. Christ. I kneel to help her step out of the costume. She sets a hand on my shoulder for balance and lifts one long, sleek leg. I want to run my hands up and down her leg so badly my palms tingle. My dick is pushing aggressively against the fly of my jeans. I look up at her. She’s watching me, her lips parted, her eyes pupils dilated. A flush stains her cheeks and she catches her bottom lip between her teeth. Daringly, I set my hands on her calf and she pulls the other foot free of the fur garment. I slide my hands around the back of her firmly muscled calves, and then up to the backs of her knees. She shivers. “Hunter…” She’s not stopping me. I glide my hands up the backs of her thighs, then over the little shorts to cup her ass. I straighten my legs and stand, pulling her closer. Bending my head, we’re nearly nose to nose. Her eyelashes flutter. Our mouths are so close… “Kate.” She pulls back, her eyes full of regret. “Hunter. We can’t do this.” I close my eyes at the stab of disappointment. “Right. Right. Sorry.” “Also, I still have to go to the bathroom.” She darts away from me and into the bathroom, slamming the door shut. I lean against her kitchen island, sweating, breathing hard. My heart is galloping. Jesus. I fucked up. Why did I touch her like that? What the fuck is wrong with me?

Passionate, intense and unputdownable! With the first book in her Locketts of Tuxedo Park series Yahray St. John quickly nabbed my attention with her relatable down-to-earth characters and the fast paced storyline had me hooked in no time. I loved their connection, and the family drama surrounding their own relationship development made for a thrilling read. I’m looking forward to more from this delectable family!

Roman is confident and self-assured, but as we dig into his character we see the adversity he faces every day from a familial source. He knows what he wants out of life, but becoming close with Shantel shows him even more of what is waiting for him if he can muster the courage to try.

Shantel is accomplished and serene until someone riles her up and then she doesn’t hesitate to speak her mind. She’s suffered loss in her life, and the last thing she wants to do is set herself up for more … but she can’t resist the pull of all that is Roman!

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys family drama and red hot chemistry front and center in your romance.

EXCERPT

Roman Lockett was bored already.

Why had he let his sister, Giana, convince him to attend this bachelor auction benefitting a cure for multiple sclerosis on a Saturday night? Because as the baby girl of the family, anytime she looked at him with those big brown eyes of hers, he was helpless to resist.

Roman’s mind, however, was still on the tense meeting he’d had yesterday. As chief operating officer and director of player personnel of the Atlanta Cougars football franchise, it was Roman’s job to handle all major player contract concerns. And securing DeMarius Johnson, the team’s star quarterback, was high on not only his list but his father, Josiah Lockett’s, the Atlanta Cougars owner and general manager.

Because of his impending fee agency, negotiations with DeMarius had dragged on for months. His father thought Roman incapable of finishing the deal, but Roman had come to the table prepared for battle. They’d had to void the final two years of DeMarius’s contract, allowing the Cougars to resign him while maintaining the league’s salary cap. It had been risky because it was already late January. However, Roman had known allowing him to become a free agent would be problematic and so he’d adapted the contract based on market factors.

Roman hoped his father would be proud of the win under his belt. He had been on a success streak in recent years with the talent he’d brought to the Cougars team. As a result, they were ranked fifth in the league and Roman had played a big role in that. Yet despite all his successes, his father never gave him his due. Because Roman was the oldest, Josiah Lockett was harder on him than on his younger siblings, Julian, Giana and Xavier.

He stood on the outer fringes of the vast oval-shaped ballroom with crystal chandeliers and white drapery and surveyed the elegantly dressed men and women. He caught a glimpse of Giana making the rounds to get everyone psyched up for the evening. She wore a one-shouldered canary yellow gown with a stunning diamond necklace. Her jet-black hair had been artfully cut shoulder-length with bangs. It was a different look for her, but she wore it well. Meanwhile, most of the men were shamelessly flirting in the hopes women would bid outrageously on them. Roman, however, didn’t need to work the room.

He was Roman Lockett and every woman in Atlanta knew he was heir apparent to the Atlanta Cougars franchise. And if they seemed not to, they were faking it. His parents had been a major presence in the community for three decades. He’d already been approached by several beautiful women who’d made blatant attempts at seduction, and when that didn’t work, they’d resorted to pouting or affected hurt, all in an effort to gain his attention. But tonight, none of them held any appeal.

Roman had no idea how he was going to make it through the rest of the night. Let alone a date with one of these insipid women. Until he saw her.

A caramel-skinned beauty in a blush-colored gown with spaghetti straps. It wasn’t as elaborate as some of the confections he’d seen other women in tonight, showing off their God-given assets. Instead, it might be considered modest. Then she spun away and Roman saw the dress plunged to a curvy bottom, leaving her back bare save for a skinny piece of fabric holding the straps together.

For the first time tonight, Roman was intrigued. She looked oddly familiar, but he couldn’t place her. Who is she? He had to know. He began wandering across the ballroom toward her, but was stopped by another bevy of beauties. When he finally managed to extricate himself from their clutches, Roman couldn’t find her.

His nose flared. She might be the woman he wouldn’t mind spending time with at the end of the evening. He prayed she would come back because only she could transform this night from being an abysmal failure.

Shantel Wilson was impressed with the image she presented. With her job as a psychiatrist she didn’t often get a chance to dress up for a fancy night out on the town. Her best friend, Julian Lockett, had begged her to come and bid on him at the bachelor auction so he didn’t take home some unsuspecting female.

“C’mon,” Julian had cajoled. “I need your help. After that unflattering article about my dating life, my mother is furious with me. She warned me she wouldn’t tolerate any more shenanigans and I agreed to keep a low pro- file. If you attend, she’ll know I’m keeping my promise.”

“I don’t have anything to wear to something that fancy.” Shantel had used any excuse she could to get out of the event. Her wardrobe was comprised of slacks, silk blouses and the occasional skirt.

“Don’t worry about that. I know some fancy boutiques in Buckhead.”

Shantel had rolled her eyes. “I’m not one of your girls, Julian. I can buy my own clothes.”

“I know that, but trust me, it will help make you feel more comfortable hob knobbing with the upper crust if you’re in a killer dress.”

Famous last words, Shantel thought.

And so she’d gone to the high-end boutique Julian suggested and hadn’t been disappointed. The sales women had been eager to help, especially when she mentioned she was attending the Lockett charity gala. They’d shown her dresses in all shapes and price tags in the hopes she’d choose the most exorbitant one. Instead, she’d opted for a simple blush dress in silk chiffon, which she could afford with her salary from the practice.

Shantel liked the way it hugged her slender curves, and with the built-in bra, she’d been able to forgo a bra thanks to her barely B-cup-size breasts. The sales clerk insisted she needed lingerie, four-inch stilettos to boost her five-four height and a clutch to finish her look. In the end, Shantel purchased the entire ensemble. Tonight she felt like Cinderella, except she wouldn’t be losing her slipper. The shoes alone cost eight hundred dollars.

She was perusing the room when her eyes caught sight of Roman Lockett. The eldest brother of the Lockett clan was tall with a commanding presence. He wore what was no doubt a custom-fit tuxedo like a suit of armor. A veneer of power clung to his athletic frame. To Shantel he was like no other man she’d ever encountered, but Roman never paid any attention to her on the few occasions she’d been in his presence.

Tonight he was clearly bored with his surroundings if the jaded expression on his face was anything to go by. Had he been coerced into attending tonight’s event? And where was Julian, anyway? He’d begged her to come tonight and bid on him, but he was nowhere to be found.

Her idea of a fun Saturday night was a hot bath, a glass of wine and streaming a Netflix movie, but when Julian had pleaded with her, she’d been powerless to resist. Ever since they met at a college party ten years ago, their friendship had been grounded in love and affection. Julian had been attending Morehouse while she’d been at Spelman. Their friendship endured her mother’s suicide and Julian’s many love affairs, but that didn’t mean he didn’t vex her.

Shantel stepped out of the ballroom, pulled her phone from her clutch and texted Julian.

Where are you?

She waited and saw three dots on her iPhone indicating he was typing a message, but then the text bubble went away. She was certain Julian had read her message, so why wasn’t he responding? There was no way she would have come tonight if it wasn’t for him. Large social gatherings weren’t really her thing. She thrived in one-on-one interactions. She supposed it was why she was so good at her job.

Having been raised on the farm and being a nerd, she’d always been socially awkward. College had been eye-opening for a simple country girl like Shantel. She’d been raised in a town where everyone knew each other, but in college she hadn’t understood the rules or the games people played. Sometimes Shantel wondered if she’d made the right choice and whether she’d ever find a man who truly got her.

She was so deep in thought, Shantel didn’t realize she had company until she looked upward and found Roman’s ebony eyes trained on her.

Levi

As Secretary of the Untamed Sons MC, I know my place. I'm the youngest member to ever become an officer and I'm not doing anything to put that in jeopardy. Then I meet Noelle. She's a club bunny. Brothers don't claim the women who service our club, but I want her like I want my next breath. For her, I'll put my position on the line and risk the wrath of my president.

Noelle

After the death of my sister, my need to get revenge pushes me into the arms of my enemy. I want to tear them down, destroy their whole club and I'll stop at nothing to get my revenge. Then I meet Levi. He changes my outlook, makes me realize that the Sons are not all bad, even if they have a few rotten apples in the barrel.

I'm falling hard and fast, but I'm in too deep. Telling him the truth of who I really am will get me killed, but if I don't we can never be together.

Secrets and lies are exposed and make for a great addition to the Untamed Sons MC London series! In Levi by Jessica Ames we get to know Levi and Noelle better and uncover secrets we never expected. This MC is always endearing with a close knit group of guys and the women who love them. The characters are complex but well developed and the plot kept me intrigued throughout. Always looking forward to a repeat visit to the series.

Levi has been an interesting character from the start of the series because we have known all along that he’s a good guy who raised his little sister and found them a home that made their family complete.

Noelle is hiding a secret that no one knows, but as her past and her present begin to collide she is left trying to figure out where her loyalties are going to lie.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys a close knit motorcycle club who will protect each other and the ones they love at all costs.

He’s my best friend. Emotionally unavailable. Falling in love with him is the worst idea ever but try telling that to my heart.

As a doctor who aced her way through medical school, I should be too smart to fall for Gabe Mendoza, a man who’s married to his MMA career. For years, I’ve patched his wounds and cheered him on, but I’m tired of hoping he’ll wake up and see what’s right in front of him. I’m ready to find someone who will put me first.

The last thing I expect is for Gabe to scare off my dates and tell me all the dirty things he wants to do to me. He asks for a chance, but with the fight of his life on the horizon, his attention is divided, and I’m scared that when push comes to shove, I’ll be left alone and heartbroken.

Can I trust Gabe enough to fight for our happily ever after? Or was our end written before it even began?

These best friends are finally admitting to feeling more … and I adored them together! With book two in her Crown MMA Romance series A. Rivers delights her readers once again with a irresistible fighter and a heroine who can hold her own against him. I’m enjoying the close knit bond between the fighters at this gym and am looking forward to the next in the series.

Sydney is hardworking and accomplished and really had me pulling for her to get everything she wanted from Gabe quickly.

Gabe is a sweetheart who simply is being pulled in too many directions a lot of the time. I’m glad he opened his eyes to what was waiting right in front of him.

I highly recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who enjoys a sports romance with just enough of the training and sport to keep your interest up but also packed full of heart and sizzle.

EXCERPT
“Hey, beautiful,” Devon says, wrapping one arm around Sydney.
My eyes narrow, and I shoot a glare over her head. The guys know better than to touch her around me. She’s off-limits. But that doesn’t stop Devon from trying to rile me up.
“Hi, Dev.” She smiles up at him but doesn’t relax into his body the way she does mine, and satisfaction fists in my gut. Maybe it’s masochistic to notice these things, but I can’t help it. She’s my addiction. And if I can’t touch her the way I want, then the second best thing is to hold onto that special place she carved out for me in her heart when we were kids. I’ve never come close to losing it before, and I don’t intend to now.
“I hear you’ve been looking for a man,” Devon says, his attention fully on Sydney.
I want to wring his neck, but it’s not exactly his fault he’s goading me so much. As far as he and Jase know, I’m protective of Sydney because she’s my friend. Like a sister. They don’t realize I freak the fuck out when anyone lays their hand on her or flirts with her because she’s mine. At least, in my head she is. In reality, she’d probably laugh her ass off if I said as much.
Okay, she wouldn’t. She’s too nice for that. But she knows I can’t give her what she wants, and based on how she reacted the other day, she wouldn’t hesitate to remind me of that.
“Just starting the search,” she replies, her tone tense. She doesn’t know how I feel about her, but she senses that her love life makes me a little crazy and probably doesn’t want to antagonize me when we’re smoothing things over. “I’ve been on a couple of dates but haven’t met anyone I want to go on a second one with yet.”
Covering my mouth, I try to hide my relief. Based on her expression, I fail.
“It’s a pity Gabe outlawed every guy at the gym, or you’d have plenty to choose from.”
Devon seriously has a death wish.
Sydney laughs. “That doesn’t bother me. Dating someone from the gym could get messy if it went wrong. I’m best to keep my romantic life separate from my friends until I meet someone I can see a future with.”
“Smart move,” Lena says. “Plenty of options online, anyway. No need to go fishing in the gym’s pool.”
I take Sydney’s hand, give it a squeeze, and swallow past the boulder in my throat. “You’ll find the right guy. He’s out there, and once he finds you, he won’t let go.”
“Aww.” Her expression softens, and emotion shines in her eyes. “Thank you.”
Releasing her hand, I set mine firmly on my lap before I do something stupid like raise her palm to my lips and kiss it.
“No problem. It’s what you deserve.”

Daimon
As Treasurer of the Untamed Sons MC, I don't have time to deal with a bratty kid. Briella is nineteen. I'm thirty-one. I'm too old for her tantrums, but I'm sure there's something more to her acting out than a late teenage rebellion. When I look in her eyes, I see her demons glaring back at me, and I want to know who put them there. I shouldn't be thinking about her at all, but I'm willing to stand against my club brothers and break vows I've made to keep her, but first I have to uncover what she's hiding.

Briella
I've got darkness in my past that I can no longer keep buried. When Daimon finds out the truth, he's going to drop me and run. I shouldn't be falling for my brother's best friend, but I can't stop my feelings from growing. I want him. No, I need him. He's becoming my everything and I have no idea how to be without him.

But that choice might not be mine. Once he finds out the truth about me, he's going to walk away because the truth is I'm broken, I'm damaged and my past is coming back to haunt me.

Explosive secrets and lies! The third book in the Untamed Sons MC series by Jessica Ames continues the dark, emotional journey of this London based club towards happily ever after for all. DAIMON brings together the little sister of a fellow biker with dark and broody Daimon. I loved them together, and I thought the plot had great potential, but could have used a little fleshing out. Loving the series as a whole and looking forward to more to come!

Briella is a sweetheart and it’s easy to like her and understand why she intrigues Daimon.

Daimon is big and bad in the workings of the club, but underneath when he’s in Brie’s arms he’s a protective teddy bear.

I recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who loves a close knit MC who fights for the safety of their family of bikers and loves heard.

Excerpt

The guys were going to kill him. Ollie scrubbed a hand over his face. They wouldn’t be surprised, of course. But they were going to be pissed. They’d all known that Piper quitting was a risk and that one day she’d probably wise-up and lose her patience and that would be it. They’d also all known that when it happened there was a 90 percent chance it would be because of Ollie. The other 10 percent chance was that it would be because of Ollie and Dax together. And now it had finally happened. If it came down to choosing between him and Piper, he wasn’t sure he wanted to know how that debate would end up. Or how short the discussion would be before they decided they wanted and needed her more. That was only one of the reasons he hadn’t told them yet. The other was because he was still processing the part where she’d said she loved him. What was he supposed to do with that? She wasn’t just supposed to say that out loud right to him, was she? He had not been expecting that. The guys and their girlfriends had insinuated for a while now that Piper might have a crush on him but no, he hadn’t expected her to ever say anything herself. It was a might have. A crush. Okay, they were adults and maybe adults didn’t have crushes exactly, but everything anyone had said suggested that it was just that Piper thought he was interesting at times and that she didn’t hate spending time with him. But a crush wasn’t love. For fuck’s sake. And it had to be Piper? Piper Barry was amazing. She was gorgeous. She was smart. She was capable. She could do anything. She was funny and sweet and sassy and tough. She was intimidating as hell. What was he supposed to do with her now? What was he supposed to do without her now? Well, the solution seemed pretty obvious. She’d basically given him the answer herself—I can’t be in love with you and work for you. And the only one of those two things I can change is the working for you part. So he needed to get her to not be in love with him anymore. Then she’d come back to work and all would be fine. Now he just had to get her to realize she could do a hell of a lot better than him. Of course, he’d been a pain in her ass for five years now. If that didn’t do it, he wasn’t sure what would.

Tattooed Protector. Hollywood Princess.

Nick Gallo lives wild and free, avoiding any complications or drama. But when he overhears a conversation at a late-night taco stand, he can’t help but insert his two cents, telling the woman she was too good for that kind of hassle.

Josephine Carmichael lives in the crosshairs of the paparazzi as the child of a Hollywood power-couple. But when her celebrity boyfriend has an affair while they’re on vacation, she takes off to the middle-of-nowhere Florida, ending up crying in her nachos.

And when Nick finds Josephine sleeping in the parking lot of a local store, his protective instincts take over. What starts out as a simple favor, takes them down a road they never imagined.

Spark is the sixth interconnect standalone book in the new steamy romance Men of Inked: Heatwave series by Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling author Chelle Bliss.

The first scene will have you hooked! With book six in her Men of Inked: Heatwave series Chelle Bliss does not disappoint with SPARK. The characters are intense, their connection is on fire and the genuineness of their hearts is something special. I’m looking forward to more in the series.

Nick is a bit full of himself, but it so works for him! He’s a sweetheart and I enjoyed getting to reconnect with him and the family.

Josephine confused me a bit. I understood the backdrop of her Hollywood fam, but I never got the connection of why she was with the loser boyfriend in the first place. I think her character could have been fleshed out a bit more, but overall she was sincere.

I recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who loves a tight knit group of friends and family being there every step of the way as each one finds love.

Decadently mysterious! With book five in her Dynasties: Mesa Falls series, Joanne Rock continues to weave an intriguing story as we look for answers. The characters are interesting and their connection is quick to combust. I’m looking forward to the final book in the series to find out all of the remaining secrets.

Chiara is being sneaky at the start of the book so I wasn’t sure what to make of her at first but it didn’t take long to figure out she’s a good hearted person just looking for answers to what happened to a friend.

Miles is one of the most laid back of the Mesa Falls owners, and I found him easy to like.
