A sweet and sassy story about coming home again, even if you hurt people when you left.

Heather Carver is moving home to Preston, Virginia to work with her Dad in his restoration business now that she’s finished school.  She’s excited about putting what she’s learned to good use, and to be close to her Dad again.  She’s not expecting the bomb her Dad drops on her though … if she wants to take over the business now that he’s wanting to retire, she has to agree to partner with the person he wants to do the manual side of things … the person that she has never forgiven.

Brawny,  dirty talking bad boy meets sassy, give as good as she gets tough girl … and mad chemistry ignites!  Loving this series by Marie Harte.  The guys in this garage are raunchy tough guys and I love it!

Foley Sanders doesn’t know what to think when sexy Cynthia Nichols comes in to Webster’s Garage and tells him what for!  He should be irritated that someone just copped such an attitude with him, but WOW, he just can’t get over what a gorgeous spitfire she is!

A steamy HOT ending to this sex infused 3 part serial by Cathryn Fox!  The chemistry between Danielle and Jack has been explosive from the start, and this final foray with them did NOT disappoint!

A quirky, fast read … several surprises await you as you delve into this book, and after all is said and done, it left me feeling a bit cheated of a meaningful plot.

Jacy McMasters finds herself channeling a dead author to create a hopefully successful follow-up to his previous masterpiece.  JD Balinger helps her get past some of the abuse she has been putting her body through and makes her focus on actually getting words on paper for a change.

She meets a new guy … a nice guy for a change … and starts to date him.  She tries not to screw it up too much with her past behavior, but she can’t figure out what the truth is that he keeps hinting at that she revealed to him the night she met him while in a drunken stupor.

We stumble across the dark past of Jacy’s family life, and watch what she goes through to accept the reality of it all.

In Book 3 of her The O’Malleys series, Katee Robert brings us Cillian’s story.  He is my favorite O’Malley yet, and I really enjoyed getting to know the real him!

Another hunky O’Malley is on the scene as we meet Cillian.  He’s dark and drained after past happenings in the family and he’s really in need of a change, so when he meets Olivia Rashidi at the neighborhood bar, she’s a breath of fresh air.

Olivia doesn’t like Cillian from the start, but she can’t deny he’s sexy as all get out!  When she finds out his name, she tries even harder to steer clear of him.  She’s running from her own mob family, so she sure doesn’t need to get mixed up with someone from yet another one.

When they can no longer fight the attraction, Cillian agrees to the rules dictated by Olivia .. one night, no strings.  But when she runs into trouble from her past a short time later, she turns to Cillian for help.  Will they get to the point where they are willing to fight their families to be together?

I enjoyed the main plot of the older woman meeting the man of her dreams in a younger man in this book quite a bit, but for me, there was too much “busyness” to the story.  I could have stood for there to be fewer friend issues, co-workers, distractions, etc. and more of them actually enjoying their romance together.  It was still an enjoyable read though.

When practicing Wiccan Annah-Belle Henderson cast a spell for love, she didn’t expect it to be a younger man crossing her path that caused an instant zing of attraction and revelation that he was the one.  She tried to fight the attraction because she was really hung up about the age, but Eric Ashworth wasn’t going to let her push him away so easily.

Nephew to one of Annah’s best friends, Eric enjoys the attraction he feels for Annah and is willing to jump in head first with her.  When family issues and a past evil resurrects to attempt to keep them apart, they have to decide whether it’s worth fighting for each other or not.
