A tension filled reunion kicks off this action packed story! Kimberly Kincaid kicks the turmoil and danger up a notch with the latest in her Intelligence Unit series and it did NOT disappoint. On point characters, a tense undercover assignment and a reunion he never thought he’d get to enjoy kept me hooked throughout. I’m looking forward to more in the series.

I really enjoyed Shawn’s character because not only is he down to earth and sincere, but he also takes his responsibilities to heart.

Frankie is inspiring. She’s been through a lot in life, but she has bounced back stronger than ever and is determined to get the job done no matter what.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys a close knit group of cops who each have a lot of spunk and grit as they support each other through the next case and finding a forever love.

Val is a refreshing character. She never loses sight of her family heritage and loving traditions even as she steps forward to help save and enrich the neighborhood they adore. The intermingling of life, love and hearth is really satisfying.

Philip should feel like the bad guy in this book since he’s part of the redevelopment group, but he’s really sweet and down to earth and watching him fall for Val and want her to have everything she always dreamed of is heartwarming.

I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys an enemies to lovers story with a whole lot of heart and close knit community involved.

Gut wrenchingly raw! We all knew James’ story was going to be an emotional one, but add in Bella and all gloves are off. These characters know pain. They live reality every day. Watching them heal is extremely moving. Gina Azzi just delivered her most tortured Hawk yet in THE DEFENDER, and I adored every single minute of him. I always leave a book in this series looking so forward to seeing them again in the next one!

James is such an awesome guy. He has loved and lost and though tortured, he has done the job he had to of picking up the pieces for his kids. Meeting Bella soothes his soul, and falling for her just might break him.

Isabella is a sweetheart. She’s suffered unimaginable loss and torment in her life and yet she smiles through the pain. She is anguished by her past, but she forces herself to put one foot in front of the other and move forward.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who loves a hockey romance filled with a close knit team of friends that shows the reality of life’s ups and downs in every single book and deals with them on that road to forever.

A sweet and sinful seduction! Melissa Foster is bringing the adorableness in SWEET, SEXY HEART and I loved every minute of it. I was hooked instantly and the sweet and gentle souls mixed with so much yummy goodness was a winner all the way around.
