Domenico is a powerful mafia don with a score to settle. He’s loyal and heartfelt but beneath the surface he’s still the guy that loved a girl and had it all explode in front of his face.
Bella is naive yet sincere. She believes Nico let her down when in reality she doesn’t know what happened behind the scenes. Watching them reconnect and then begin to unravel the drama is fulfilling.
I highly recommend this book to fans of mafia romance. The family background is fleshed out in a way that adds to the storyline instead of overburdening it. Looking forward to more to come!
