She thinks love is just a system error. He is here to prove that hot hockey players are the anomaly to her hypothesis.

I’ve built a life I’m proud of - my own successful business, a beautiful condo, amazing friends, and a spoiled dog named Betty who takes up an entire king-sized bed! My life is exactly the way I want it. I know from experience that I need to keep relationships at a distance. A little fun? Fine. Commitment? Absolutely not.

Then I meet Jayden Wood in the park after our dogs nearly tangle their leashes together. He’s charming and way too attractive for my peace of mind. As a pro hockey player stuck on a struggling team, Jayden already has enough chaos in his life. But then our paths keep crossing. At the coffee shop. In the park. Around the city. Jayden calls it fate.

I swear he’s impossible to get rid of. Now the man who thrives on competition has decided I’m his next challenge—and he’s determined to prove I’m not as hard to get as I pretend to be.

A brand new hockey franchise from Kelly Jamieson to sink your teeth into! I am always there for another hockey romance, and Jamieson has brought us some great teams in the past. There’s trouble in paradise with the Vancouver Orcas, but there’s potential to be had and I see good things that can come in the future. I loved Jayden and his four legged bud Frank. He’s really sincere and down to earth and an overall good guy. Stella … meh … she just didn’t do it for me at all. She was too hands off and uptight and not there to realize the good guy she lucked into having right in front of her begging for her love. I can do without the feminist, no man needed BS in romance in all honesty. Give me a solid romance with attraction, kindness and love any day of the week. I’ll be there to see what happens with the team in the next book, but I’m hoping for a better heroine next time.
