He’s the best mistake she ever made…

Back in Rose Bend after a work trip that went wrong, Florence “Flo” Dennison craves the kind of distraction only a searing fling with a gorgeous stranger can provide. And she gets it—in an encounter hot enough to leave scars. But satisfaction turns to shock when Flo realizes her one-night stand is leading the restoration project she’s been hired to photograph. And his sweet little girl has decided Flo’s her new bestie…

Single dad and architect Adam Reed wants stability for his daughter, and he’s sure that Flo—young, ambitious, beautiful—isn’t looking for that. But when his nanny bails and Flo helps him out, it becomes impossible to keep their distance. Now, navigating tangled family ties and her own trust issues, Flo has to decide if one wild night can become so much more.

Emotional turmoil at it’s best! Naima Simone is always quick to capture my heart with her quaint smalltown Rose Bend characters who don’t hesitate to plow through whatever obstacle sits in their way of love and happiness. The Dennison family is full of humor, angst and outspoken characters who love hard and support each other through thick and thin. I love every minute spent with them! Always a joy to watch the next sibling succumb to their passionate love story.

Flo is going to go down as one of my favorites in the family because of the softer side we get to see in her childhood pain that’s uncovered in this story. I really enjoyed watching her come into herself and be able to heal as she opens her heart to receive all that she’s ever deserved and more.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone that loves a small town romance filled with passion, love and a snarky family who loves hard and isn’t afraid to speak up for what they believe in. Always rewarding to visit Rose Bend!
