If you read the Seaside Summers series by Melissa Foster, you will recognize Lizzie Barber and Blue Ryder. I didn’t read the previous series, but didn’t have any trouble at all following this book and falling in love with these characters. It’s well written and draws you in very easily, so you’re turning page after page waiting to see what’s going to happen. You might even find yourself cursing at Blue a bit like I did, but I soon loved him again, so no worries. 🙂

Lizzie Barber owns her own flower shop, P-town Petals, in Provincetown, Massachusetts. What no one knows about her, is she secretly does a hot web series on the side to earn money to pay for her little sister’s education.

Blue Ryder has been trying to get Lizzie to go on a date with him ever since he met her a year ago. She likes him and finds him hard to resist, but doesn’t think it’s fair to start a relationship with him when she has this secret life. She finally gives in and goes on a couple of dates with him, but when they start to get serious about each other, she feels the need to come clean with him.

When her secret life as the Naked Baker is revealed, she has to try to pick up the pieces and move forward. Will Blue be able to understand why she didn’t tell him about it from the beginning? Will her friend and family get over it?
