I thought I was picking up a book to read a sweet reunion story … and I did. It was so sweet and makes your heart warm how their love remained even through separation and heartache … but there was more. What I didn’t realize was that I was also picking up a book with an eye opening, heart-wrenching dip into the sad injustices that we sometimes have to face within the blink of an eye. Life isn’t fair, and it’s often not pretty … but sometimes in life, love can find a way to outweigh the bad … even if just for a little while. I highly recommend you read this book … it’s so fantastic I can’t even find the words to tell you!
