Soft-spoken and shy Hannah Fisher is determined to make the man she’s loved her entire life finally see her as a woman. With the help of a makeover, a new mission—Operation Find My Happy—and the convenient forced proximity of a tour bus, she vows to win her best friend Deacon’s heart.

Former bad boy and current fiddle player Deacon Latrell has the world at his fingertips: a new gig with a famous band, plus his best friend on tour as his son’s nanny. Life couldn’t get much sweeter. Now if only he could stop imagining kissing the daylights out of his childhood BFF...

With one friend set on pushing the boundaries and the other afraid to rock the boat, one thing’s for certain—their story would make one heck of a country song.

The ultimate friends to lovers romance! Such a sweet story! Lots of angst, some sweet friendship and surprise chemistry between them makes for a fun story. A quick and easy read. There wasn’t a lot to do with the actual band performing, etc. but it was a whirlwind of a book regardless!

Reformed bad boy Deacon Latrell is living the good life! He’s recently joined an up and coming country band as their fiddle player, he has an adorable son who is the light of his life, and his best friend is finally back in town and has agreed to go on tour with him to be the nanny for his son!

Hannah Fisher has always been quiet and shy, but when she became best friends with Deke 10 years ago, he took her under his wing and brought her out of her shell. She has always been in love with him, but he only considered her his best bud. As a single dad, he has needed a lot of help and she’s always been there for him … until she finally needed a break to go do her own thing for a year. When she decided to come back and go on tour with him, she decided to embark on “Operation Find My Happy” …. either it will include the potential of more of a life with Deke, or she’ll move forward and broaden her career like she always thought she would. Close quarters and sweet life moments together make Deacon start to look at her in another way. Will he be able to open his eyes and see what’s right in front of him … before it’s too late?

A doctor for the desert king

Brooding billionaire Sheikh Idris Al Khalil wants one thing—the gift of hearing for his daughter, Amira—and he's willing to pay anything to get it! Enter Dr. Robyn Kelly, whose whirlwind approach to life sends his senses into overdrive.

Now, as the tension between Paddington's ENT specialist and the guarded sheikh mounts, Robyn can't help but wonder…is life in the desert with Idris and little Amira the family happy-ever-after she's always dreamed of?

Annie O’Neil pulls at our heartstrings with her latest medical romance! A brooding father, a precocious little girl and a life-scarred doctor connect and find their lives changing forever! The characters could have used a little more time together once they realized how they felt, but overall I enjoyed their story!

Sheikh Idris Al Khalil of Da’har would give anything for his daughter to be able to hear. He’s met doctor after doctor and hasn’t felt a connection with a single one of them as he tries to find the one person he will entrust his daughter’s health to for a cutting edge surgery that could very well give her sound in her life for the first time ever.

Doctor Robyn Kelly lives life in an exuberant way, and Idris isn’t sure what to make of her and her enthusiasm at first, but once his daughter meets her and is taken with her, he doesn’t think he could possibly find someone better to do her surgery. Robyn is out of her comfort zone when she’s having to deal with the PR side of her world at Paddington Children’s Hospital, but she’s definitely in her element when interacting with her patient!

Lara Ashburn hates bikers. She watched a motorcycle club destroy her hometown, bringing her brother down with it. That’s a life she put far in her rearview. So the last person she wants to see walking into her classroom is the top enforcer of the Devil’s Keepers. Big, mean, and gorgeous, all tattoos and leather, Chaser is everything Lara should avoid. Yet the insane chemistry sparking between them tempts her to break all the rules.

Ryan “Chaser” Frey has his hands full with a teen daughter in need of tough love, and he doesn’t have time for prissy teachers who want to tell him how to raise his kid. But Chaser never could resist a chick who gives as good as she gets. Lara is sexy as hell, and she’s not afraid of him. Plus, her links to a California club could provide the Devils with leverage against their enemies. But that would mean mixing business with pleasure—and risking the one woman Chaser can’t afford to lose.

Megan Crane has a way with words that has us sensing the menace rolling off of the skin of each and every one of the guys in this series, yet with the touch of the right woman, we watch them transform into a gentle soul right before our eyes! Yes, they are still mean and tough and raunchy as all get out … but there is still a deep connection and softness in how much they love their women. I am loving this series … and Chaser and Lara just increased my adoration! 🙂 Awesome characters, a heated atmosphere both with steamy sex and danger, and a plot that keeps me coming back for more. With the ending on this one, stuff is about to hit the fan, so I have my fingers crossed for the next book soon!

Ryan “Chaser” Frey doesn’t have time for petty nonsense, so when his teenage daughter’s teacher leaves him a massive number of messages in the one day he was unreachable with club business, it really rubs him the wrong way. What does this hoity toity priss know about raising a kid in his lifestyle?

Lara Ashburn grew up knee deep in the life, and she hates motorcycle clubs with a passion! She blames it for the childhood she had and for ruining her brother’s life. She wants desperately to make sure her student isn’t losing herself in the ugliness around her.

Ryan comes to the school to tell this teacher to get off his kid and mind her own business, but when she stands up and starts mouthing off to him, he can’t help but become amused … does she know who she’s talking to? … and does she realize her mouth is making him see her in a whole new light? Maybe he should show her … after all, when he puts his hands on her, she makes it real obvious that she hates it … and loves it even more!

Order. Attention to detail. Never leaving anything to chance. These are the qualities that make Riley Ness such a terrific federal agent . . . and a pain in the ass to everyone else. The only time Riley lets loose is when he’s hanging out with his closest pals. So when he’s thrown together with gorgeous, flighty Summer Sheridan, Riley’s brain tells him she’s a ticking time bomb—but his body doesn’t want to play by the rules.

Riley has to be the most irritating man Summer has ever met. The brooding hunk thinks he needs to teach her a few lessons about real life, while she’d rather show him how to enjoy it. But her BFF’s all but engaged to Riley’s best friend, and besides, their intense physical chemistry is all too real. Summer just needs Riley to try to meet her halfway and take a chance with the one thing that matters: his heart.

I always enjoy my visits with The Naked Men! 🙂  With the fourth book in this series, we get Riley Ness’ story. He’s super serious and rigid, but we get the story behind why he is the way he is, and we also get to see him lighten up a bit as love comes into his life. The characters are always great and we get to enjoy the guys and couples from the previous books. This one drifted away from the blog/podcast a lot though, so that was a little bit of a different aspect from this series. I wanted more time to enjoy them as a couple once they got together, but overall, a fun addition to the series!

Riley Ness is the serious one of the bunch! He plans his life rigidly and always watches out for everyone else. He lets down his guard with his buddies, but he doesn’t live dangerously. That’s why Summer Sheridan and her fly by night attitude drives him up the wall!

Summer’s best friend Chloe is all but engaged to be married to Riley’s best friend Griff, so they are thrown together a lot in social situations.  The gang has gotten used to hearing them banter and complain about each other. When they decide they need to try getting along better for Chloe and Griff’s sake, they realize they actually have a hot attraction for each other! Will hearing about each other’s life stories and knowing the reasoning behind their different ways of life help them understand the other or will it just be one more thing they fight about?

To trust and protect…

Tribal police chief Jack Bear Den will do anything to stop ecoterrorists. But partnering with disgraced ex-FBI explosives expert Sophia Rivas is trouble even his trail-tested skills never anticipated. Her out-there deductions are blowing up false leads, exposing treacherous lies—and sparking an attraction too dangerous for even Jack to resist.

By the book was never Sophia's style. To save lives, she has to gamble on her instincts more than ever. If Jack doesn't trust her, she can handle it—but letting him uncover her deepest secrets is a distraction neither can afford. And with the clock ticking down and disaster about to strike, getting too close may be the last move she and Jack ever make.

With the final book in her Apache Protectors: Tribal Thunder series, Jenna Kernan takes us for a wild ride with Jack Bear Den’s story! We have seen his strength and character throughout the series, so it’s great to finally see him up close and personal and get to go along for the ride as he uncovers the answers he’s been worrying over for quite some time now. His love interest is a fun and brings lots of explosiveness to the picture! 🙂

FBI explosives expert Sophia Rivas is doing a favor for her Uncle Luke Forrest when she agrees to meet with Jack Bear Den and his tribal cohorts about the dam safety on their reservation land. She’s in a bit of hot water in her own job right now, so she’s not looking to make waves in a consultation that has nothing to do with her future. She’ll get in, have a look-see and get out.

Jack isn’t expecting to feel an attraction to Sophia, but he can’t deny she packs a real wallop with her sassy attitude and dark beauty. He’s impressed with her knowledge even though what she tells him isn’t what he was hoping to hear. Will she agree to help his tribe with something that isn’t totally on the up-and-up in order to guarantee their safety or will she let her own concern for her job security pull her away? And when danger gets too close for comfort, will Jack be able to get her to safety before whoever is after her finds their mark?
