She's become his whole world…and she's under fire

Ever since forensics analyst Shaye Mallory survived a police-station shootout, Detective Cole Walker has felt personally responsible for her well-being. Then another shooter takes aim at Shaye. Cole decides the only thing he can do is stay right by her side until he finds the man who wants her dead.

Cole knows that he must set aside his attraction to Shaye if he's going to do his job. But as the days—and nights—go on, it becomes harder and harder to resist his feelings. And, as danger moves ever closer to them both, Shaye realizes that her safety might cost her the life of the man she loves.

Danger strikes when she least expects it! Yet again Shaye Mallory finds herself dodging for cover as someone comes out of the woodwork and starts shooting at her … what happened to her quiet life?? With the second in this spin-off series, Elizabeth Heiter brings us Cole Walker’s story. We met him in his brother Andre Diaz’s book last month, and Shaye was instrumental in helping them save Juliette in that story as well. The characters mesh well and are all passionate about their work and protecting those they love. The fact that the brother’s are always ready to jump when the other calls, even if it’s for a stranger they haven’t met means a lot. The background story that they brought up in the first book was mentioned in this one too, but fell to the way side a little too much. I’m looking forward to getting answers to that in the next book.

As the sole survivor of a police station shoot-out last year, forensic analyst Shaye Mallory has had a lot to deal with. She’s just getting back in the swing of things at work when she finds herself the target of a gunman yet again. She gladly accepts help and protection from her friend and co-worker Cole Walker.

Cole has been attracted to Shaye ever since the day he met her two years ago, and the feeling is definitely mutual, but it’s taking her being in danger yet again for them to get close to acting on that attraction! Will they push it away again, or day after day of being in close quarters finally have them relenting and admitting what they feel?

Blackmailed by the billionaire!

Allegra Kallas detests Draco Papandreou—and she especially can't stand the desire she feels whenever she sees the arrogant man who once rejected her! So she's horrified when her father's business runs into debt and the only man who can save them is none other than the ruthless Greek…

No matter how much Allegra protests, Draco knows the driven career woman feels the fire which rages between them. And he's not above using his power to blackmail her into confessing it! To satisfy their cravings, Draco has a sinful plan: he'll make Allegra his wife, and seduce her into his bed…

From blackmail … to love?? Melanie Milburne’s latest takes us on a dash towards happily ever after for the couple who have denied their connection for years! They’re both kindhearted and easy to like and we’re rooting for their happy ending from shortly after we meet them and realize they actually like each other even though they heatedly deny it. It’s an easy and enjoyable read … a little rushed, but a fun happy ending to reach!

Allegra Kallas might have been crushing on Draco Papandreou since she was 16 years old, but she has also spent a good number of years hating him … or so she tells herself! When she discovers her selfish father has run his business into the ground and now expects her to marry Draco in order to dig him out of the mess he’s made, she’s furious! She seriously considers refusing, but because of the people that would be wrongfully affected, she agrees.

Draco is secretly looking out for Allegra’s best interests because he knows her father isn’t, but he’s not a perfect man and will enjoy every minute of wooing her into his bed! She might deny she’s attracted to him, but he can feel the fire the second she walks into a room and locks eyes with him. Let the fun begin!

One wedding night…

When Lana Haole reluctantly agrees to a marriage of convenience to help persuasive and all-too-tempting Dr. Andrew Tremblay stay in the country, the last thing she expects is to fall for the arrogant playboy's charms—on their wedding night…

Twin consequences!

Lana and Andrew agree it was a one-time-only deal…until they discover that Lana is pregnant with twins. Andrew won't walk away from his babies, or his beautiful bride, so he has eight months to convince Lana to stay his wife forever!

Two wounded souls collide and make for a gorgeously sweet romance! One grew up too fast with loads of responsibility, the other overcame adversity to live out his dreams until tragedy struck and he lived forever more with a guilt ridden heart … together they allow themselves to see life in a different way. Loved their story!

Surgeon Iolana Haole lives the life that is expected of her. She learned young that she had to be the one to pick up the pieces and live on the straight and narrow path that her father dictated in order to keep a peaceful lifestyle. She has worked hard to achieve all that she has and she’s fulfilled … even though it’s not exactly what she would have dreamed of for herself if she had been able to choose her own route. Once again, she finds herself being expected to do something for someone else’s benefit, and she’s not happy!

Doctor Andrew Tremblay needs a green card to get to stay in the US, and Lana is his answer! He coerces her with the one thing the he knows will win her over! Neither would admit it, but they’ve both been interested in each other ever since he came to town two years ago, so when they are thrown together on their wedding night in romantic circumstances, the sparks fly! They agree it was a bad idea, and it can’t happen again and they settle into their marriage of convenience … until they find out she’s pregnant, with twins!
