Likable characters steal the show in the next Misadventures book! Maddox and Wilder’s personalities were both a fun start to this story, and as the tension and backstories unraveled, we get an even deeper connection with them. It started off slow, and to be honest I wanted more. There was more there in feelings and connection to flesh out for sure, especially with the background presented in bits and pieces, but overall it kept me watching and I enjoyed them a lot.

Best friends and business partners Maddox Gibson and Wilder Vaughn have finally bitten the bullet and are expanding the successful gym they co-own together. Mad is the sensible one and didn’t want to over-extend themselves too fast, but Wild is gung-ho to be all that they can be and finally gets the expansion under way. Now that they are going to be offering more classes and activities, they need to bring on a few additional instructors … and in walks the woman who tempts them both!

Jasmine Pritchett is thrilled to be offered a job teaching yoga at Transform Gym. She and the guys hit it off from the start and being a third in their close-knit friendship is a lot of fun. It’s also temptation! She’s attracted to them both, and she’s pretty sure the feelings are not one-sided … but can she convince them that three is better than two and get them to enter into the polyamorous relationship she’s dreaming of?

Meet The Author

Elizabeth Hayley is actually “Elizabeth” and “Hayley,” two friends who love reading romance novels to obsessive levels. This mutual love prompted them to put their English degrees to good use by penning their own. They learned a ton about each other through the process, like how they clearly share a brain and have a persistent need to text each other constantly. They live with their husbands and kids in a Philadelphia suburb. Thankfully, their children are still too young to read.

He’s a good guy at heart even though he’s getting more and more dangerous and powerful all the time. He knows too much and even though he only got into this world as a way to keep his family together, there’s no way out and soon he’s going to have to go all in. Meeting Aedry shows him a goodness he isn’t sure he ever even knew was out there. He shouldn’t want her, but he can’t resist the draw … and keeping these secrets from her is going to come back to bite him … but he’s hoping to figure a way out before that happens. Some more development could have been used here and there in order to paint a more complete picture, but it kept me reaching for that happily ever after until the end. Enjoyed it!

Kat Mizera is a South Florida native. Born in Miami Beach with a healthy dose of wanderlust, she’s called Los Angeles, Long Island, upstate New York, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Atlanta home. She’s never been able to pick which locale is her favorite, but if pressed, she’d probably choose the west coast.
Kat’s a typical PTA mom with a wonderful and supportive husband (Kevin) and two amazing boys (Nick and Max). When she’s not writing, she’s either scrapbooking or indulging in her second love (after writing) – traveling. Greece is one of her favorite places in the world. She loves that Athens is a big city with a small-town feel. The food, beaches and culture keep her going back as often as possible. She hopes to retire there one day so she can spend her days writing books on the beach.
Kat has been a working freelance writer for nearly 30 years. She sold her first article–a review of a rock concert–for $10 in 1985.
