You murder a man, and all of a sudden people are scared of you.

Slate Solis went from being a guy that people went to in times of need to an ex-con that people crossed the street to avoid being too close to.

He knows he’s done wrong, but out of all of his sins, only one really bothers him—coveting thy neighbor’s wife.

Harleigh Belle—the cute little lady that never gives him a second glance.

After seeing her for the first time while he was in prison, she’s stayed on his mind for three long years. Each time she comes in to visit with her friend on family day, he can’t help but stare.

Then the day comes that he’s set free, and he’s almost disappointed that he’ll never see her again.

Except fate has different plans.

He hasn’t been back in his house for more than three hours when he sees her.

Harleigh Belle in all her glory…oh, and her husband that is everything Slate isn’t.

He tells himself that her being fifty feet away from him, all day every day, is a complete coincidence. One that he shouldn’t take advantage of. The more time passes, the harder it gets to stay away. Until one day, and one very ill-timed thunderstorm, ruin everything.

Who knew that baby-making-weather was a real thing?

Electrifyingly sultry! With the final book in the Bear Bottom Guardians MC series, we finally get the story of the man who’s intrigued us since the start of the series. Slate is finally home and setting out to start his life over. He has a lot of ghosts to revisit in his old life on his journey, but the future is looking brighter than it has in a long time. This book brings us his story and gives us the chance to see a lot of familiar faces from previous books and see how some of their lives are flourishing. I really enjoyed this series as a whole, and this book was a lot of fun to read.

Former cop Slate Solis is finally free. For the first time in a decade, he’s out in the world and able to live his life again. He knows committing murder was the wrong thing to do, but in the heat of the moment after watching his partner and fiancee die before his eyes, he needed retribution. He can’t honestly regret it.

The one thing he’s going to miss about prison is the gorgeous woman who caught his eye while visiting a friend about three years ago. She’s been a pleasant distraction on visiting day ever since, and he is going to miss seeing her. Or he thought he was … until he realizes she’s living right next door to him … with her husband! Off all the luck!

The California sunshine’s not quite so bright for three sisters

who get dumped in the same week…

Finola, a popular LA morning-show host, is famously upbeat until she’s blindsided on live TV by the news that her husband is sleeping with a young pop sensation who has set their affair to music. While avoiding the tabloids and pretending she’s just fine, she’s crumbling inside, desperate for him to come to his senses and for life to go back to normal.

Zennie’s breakup is no big loss. Although the world insists she pair up, she’d rather be surfing. So agreeing to be the surrogate for her best friend is a no-brainer—after all, she has an available womb and no other attachments to worry about. Except…when everyone else, including her big sister, thinks she’s making a huge mistake, being pregnant is a lot lonelier—and more complicated—than she imagined.

Never the tallest, thinnest or prettiest sister, Ali is used to being overlooked, but when her fiancé sends his disapproving brother to call off the wedding, it’s a new low. And yet Daniel continues to turn up “for support,” making Ali wonder if maybe—for once—someone sees her in a way no one ever has.

Family saga at it’s best! The latest from Susan Mallery has us knee deep into this family’s drama from the very first few pages … and loving it! She weaves a complex story line depicting each sisters life and the trials and tribulations they are all going through at the same time. Normally close and supportive, they find themselves straying and not being as happy go lucky with each other at the moment. A clingy, self-righteous mother tops off the cast and brings yet another perspective into an already chaotic life. I really enjoyed the book!

Finola Corrado thinks she’s living the dream. She’s basking in her own glory and about to embark on a grand vacation with her adoring husband when it all explodes in her face just before she’s about to go on live television. Her husband drops the bombshell on her that he’s been adoring someone else, and she’s literally steps away from interviewing the pop sensation trollop on her talk show!

Zennie Schmitt loves her solo life and just can’t understand why people keep harping on her to become part of a couple. When the guy she’s been casually dating wants to move forward with her, she fails to keep the disdain from her face and he ends up dropping her quicker than she can turn around instead. She’s going to concentrate on just enjoying life for a chance … and what better way than agreeing to be a surrogate for her best friend and help her achieve her life’s dream … only she has no clue how lonely and difficult it’s going to be when her family support system doesn’t agree with her decisions.

Ali Schmitt was on the the cusp of the happiest time of her life seven weeks before her wedding when it all comes crumbling down. Her loser fiancee sends his brother to break it off with her … right after invitations have gone out! She has always felt like Daniel disapproved of her as a mate for his brother, but he’s being really great in helping her pick up the pieces and cancel this wedding. As time goes by, she starts to wonder if the wrong brother was in her sights the whole time!

Massachusetts State Police Sgt. Nick Houston is as tough as they come, and he and his K-9, Saxon, are hot on the trail of a major illegal gun dealer. But his best lead—the beautiful owner of the Dog Park Café, Andi Hardt––is not cooperating. Doesn't matter how sexy she is, or that his dog seems to be in love with her. She's a suspect and he won't cross that line. Ever.

Andi Hardt sank everything into her dream business—the Dog Park Café, a restaurant catering to dogs as much as people. Now everything is in jeopardy because of one extremely frustrating, incredibly hot state trooper. Like it or not, she's in Nick's crosshairs, and he's calling the shots. Her only option: cooperate, or lose everything she's worked so hard for.

Nick and Andi are catapulted straight into the danger zone, forcing them to make life-altering choices, and face their desires. Risking his life for Andi is the easy part. Risking his heart is the toughest assignment Nick will face.

Attention grabbing from page one! With the second book in her Federal K-9 series, Tee O’Fallon brings us another great story that keeps us on our toes throughout. The characters have a rich back story, the setting is exciting and the taboo attraction between them is powerfully compelling. Really enjoyed the story and look forward to more in the series!

Andi Hardt is thrown for a loop when the house that she’s spending the night in is raided and she seems to be in the cross-hairs of suspicion just for being there. She gave up the rat race of corporate life a year ago and put all of her hopes and dreams … not to mention her capital! … into opening the Dog Park Cafe. She happily spends her days serving people’s needs and pampering their pooches at the same time. She doesn’t know what this cop guy’s problem is, but she’s about done putting up with his attitude!

Massachusetts State Police Sgt. Nick Houston is determined to bring this massive gunrunner to justice, and the fact that Andi is somehow involved in it is giving him someone to concentrate his fury on. There’s something about her that really catches his attention, but she’s knee deep in the middle of this investigation that holds a personal place of importance in his heart. He can’t admit that he’s attracted to her … and he certainly can’t act on it!

He's stuck in his past. She shows him their future...

The brooding Jason Rogers prefers to keep people at a distance and his pain tucked safely inside. So what if he’s a grouch? He doesn’t care.

Claire Albright isn’t afraid to waltz into her new boss’s office and give her opinions. The fact she has a tagalong little girl, Gina, who reminds Jason of the daughter he lost, only adds to their bristly start.

Soon, against Jason’s will, Claire and Gina inject hope back into his dull existence. Dare he dream of a life he never thought he’d have again?

A heartwarming tale of starting anew! With easy to connect with characters and a back story filled with sadness and strife, Lynne Marshall takes us on a journey of finding love again when you least expect it. Her rich storytelling lets us feel the weight of Jason’s grief, while at the same time letting us start to hope for a glimmer of life to come back into his eyes again as this mother and daughter begin to brighten his days. Really enjoyed this sweet romance and look forward to more in the series!

Doctor Jason Rogers lost a lot four years ago, and he has no interest in rejoining the world any further than he has to. He’s content to keep to himself, care for his patients and be the resident curmudgeon in his practice.

Claire Albright is happy to be given this chance to become the new nurse practitioner at Jason’s office. Little does she know when she bounds in to introduce herself with her adorable daughter by her side that she will be opening a wound that never heals. She doesn’t know his past, but once she learns it, she knows that her little one reminds him of the daughter he lost and breaks his heart again every time he sees her.
