Their attraction is anything but by the book. Looking after journalist Tessa King should have been a simple assignment for Secret Service agent Grayson Wyatt. But a family tragedy, and a social media faux pas, forces the vice president’s famous daughter to hide out at her family’s Wyoming ranch—and forces Grayson to play cowboy to blend in. Their attraction breaks every protocol—and threatens to expose Tessa’s deepest secret. Worse, the media’s chasing a story that could put everything the couple is fighting for at risk…

This series is going to be a lot of fun! With the kick off to her brand new Two Kings Ranch series Christy Jeffries had me instantly hooked with the drama filled first scene of the book. The setting is quaint and the characters are fresh. I’m looking forward to more from the King family!

Tessa is a force to be reckoned with in the public eye, but a tumultuous past has left her with an insecurity that only a select few get to see.

Grayson is an all around good guy. He uses his protective nature to flourish in his job while doing everything in his power to make sure his family is taken care of.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a drama filled family who torment and interfere as much as they love.

Her husband's affair coming to light two weeks before his death should have been the worst thing to happen to Beth Cartwright that year. But being a widowed, single mom in a community of upper-class housewives is proving to be far more difficult.

Living next door to her husband's mistress and her former yoga instructor-Gina Thompson, has Beth wanting to pack up her teenage kids and get the hell out of the neighborhood. But when she becomes a suspect in her husband's death, she needs to rely on her husband's mistress and the rest of her quirky neighborhood friends to keep her out of jail.

Housewife Chronicles is a dark comedy with a hint of mystery and a focus on unlikely female friendships.

Move over Wisteria Lane, there’s a new set of housewives taking center stage! Jennifer Snow is spreading her wings with her latest release HOUSEWIFE CHRONICLES and I loved every minute of it. The concept is fresh, the humor is dark yet witty and the unlikely connection between these women is heartwarming. I’d love to see a series made out of these characters!

Beth’s plight was quick to catch my attention and as things just kept coming at her time and time again, I had to admire how she was holding her head up and pushing through. She was kinder than I would have been under the circumstances.

Gina has a skewed mindset when it comes to standards, but underneath it all she had a good heart and it made her fairly redeemable even though I secretly still had to hate her a little bit.

I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for humor, scandal and a bit of mystery.
