The father of her baby…
Is none other than the king!

After the death of his beloved uncle and cousin, reluctant royal Lucien is seeking escape. Which he finds with an irresistible waitress who stokes an uncontrollable fire within him…

Her one reckless night with an unforgettable stranger leaves Aurélie a mother-to-be. She’s scandalized to discover her baby’s father is the brand-new king of Vallort! And as much as ordinary Aurélie can barely imagine her place in this opulent kingdom, she has no choice. She must confess all to Lucien and await His Majesty’s reaction…

A surprise baby is shaking up both of their lives! PREGNANT WITH HIS MAJESTY’S HEIR by Annie West is fast paced and exciting. The characters are both easy to like, their back stories are rich in drama and their connection and determination to do right by their child is heartwarming. I really enjoyed their story!

Lucien is a wayward soul who must find his way and lead his newly crowned kingdom the way his uncle and cousin would have wanted him to. He never expects one night of release to change his life yet again, but there’s no denying that he wants this chance at a family.

Aurelie is a bit of a take on Cinderella with wicked family in her past as she now finds herself alone and without a connection. She can’t resist one night of passion with a sexy stranger, but she soon finds herself betrothed and with child.

I highly recommend this fast paced story to anyone who loves a royal romance with heartfelt characters and powerful back stories.

If it was only about her, she might never have come back to Rose Bend.

But it’s not only about her anymore.

Sydney Collins left the small Berkshires town of Rose Bend eight years ago, grieving her sister’s death—and heartbroken over her parents’ rejection. But now the rebel is back—newly divorced and pregnant—ready to face her fears and make a home for her child in the caring community she once knew. The last thing she needs is trouble. But trouble just set her body on fire with one hot, hot smile.

Widower and Rose Bend mayor Coltrane Dennison hasn’t smiled in ages. Until a chance run-in with Sydney Collins, who’s all grown-up and making him want what he knows he can’t have. Grief is his only connection to the wife and son he lost, and he won’t give it up. Not for Sydney, not for her child, not for his heart. But when Sydney’s ex threatens to upend everything she’s rebuilt in Rose Bend, Cole and Sydney may find that a little trouble will take them where they never expected to go.

A heart-wrenchingly emotional journey of healing! Naima Simone brings on all the feels in the spicy first book in her Rose Bend series and I simply loved it! The ending was a tad abrupt and I wanted a little more there, but overall the emotional depth was spot on, the romance was steaming hot and the characters were so easy to like and cheer on. I’m looking forward to more of Rose Bend!

Sydney is impossible to dislike. She’s reached the point in life where she’s tired of living for someone else and she wants to be happy for a change. Her surprise pregnancy shook up her semi-friendly divorce, but coming home to Rose Bend seems like the way to go.

Cole is complex. One one side, he’s obviously still buried in grief for his wife and son, but on the other side he’s so ready to wrap his dirty talking body around this woman that makes him want to do wicked things to her every single time she is near. I loved his entire family!

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a passionate romance that heals the wounds of hte past as a happily ever after rolls onto the scene one day at a time.

To rescue the son he never knew

He’ll protect the woman he can’t forget.

Six years ago, First Daughter Harper Manning destroyed Gage Bishop’s Secret Service career. Now his beautiful charge is back with shocking news: their baby lived and is being held hostage. Gage vows to find and protect the child, even as Harper threatens his professional restraint. As they peel back the layers to get to the truth, can they also uncover why their baby’s life became such a gut-wrenching conspiracy?

Lena Diaz shines in this unputdownable saga! With the third book in her Justice Seekers series the tension is stronger than ever when the one that got away steps back into the heroine’s life in KILLER CONSPIRACY. The premise of the story is attention grabbing from the very start and the twists and turns keep us on our toes throughout. I’m looking forward to more in the series!

Harper has some forgiveness to earn in the beginning, but her tenacity and overall good heart goes a long way in Gage’s acceptance.

Gage is easy to like and support during the story as bits of his life unravel and we learn more of his past.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys an intrigue filled with strong connections and a satisfying happily ever after.
