She escaped a killer's clutches once

Now this medical examiner needs to follow the clues to put him behind bars…

Even changing her name hasn't helped Dr. Chloe Pascale feel safe. And when a young woman is discovered buried alive, the Colorado ME knows the relentless serial killer she barely escaped has found her. To stop him, she must trust police chief Weston Ford with her darkest secrets. But getting too close is putting their guarded hearts at risk—and leading into an inescapable trap…

Edge of your seat suspense! Nichole Severn has outdone herself with the kick off to her Defenders of Battle Mountain series. GRAVE DANGER drew me in from the first page and held my attention throughout as danger came knocking time and again. The characters are easy to connect with, the plot twists are enthralling and the romance is super rewarding. I loved every minute!

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a little romance mixed in with a strong plot of danger and secrets as they race against time to find the bad guy.

Parker was not a guy she was supposed to touch.

Right?

Celebrity publicist Chloe Burnett keeps her work and personal life strictly separate—until sports agent Parker Sullivan needs her help. His client has been targeted by Little Black Book, a vicious gossip account. If she’s going to win this social media battle, she needs to resist distractions from Parker the playboy, who is off-limits for so many reasons. But a business trip to Miami leads to her breaking her rules with a guy who might break her heart. And then she’s caught in Little Black Book’s crosshairs herself…

Riveting from start to finish! THE PROBLEM WITH PLAYBOYS kicks off a brand new series from Karen Booth about three best friends meandering the streets of Manhattan as a new social media gossip begins to blow secrets out of the water. The characters were intriguing, the set up of scandal kept me watching and the love story was rewarding. Can’t wait for more Little Black Book of Secrets!

Chloe and Parker were an unlikely pair based on their family history, but they were spot on in the banter department and drew me into their web quickly.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a little scandalous mystery mixed into your romance. This book was fast-paced with electrifying drama and lots of sexy goodness.

Lifestyle influencer Jen Green is determined to turn her life around on her own. She absolutely doesn't need help from the handsome cowboy veteran at the ranch next door...

After inadvertently flashing her boobs to the whole internet, Jen Green is attempting to outwait her notoriety by homesteading in Chance County, Texas. She doesn't want—though she might just need—help from the cowboy army veteran who lives down the road.

An addictive feel-good romance! Teri Anne Stanley delivers the feels in CHARMING TEXAS COWBOY, the third book in her always adorable Big Chance Dog Rescue series. Tanner has been intriguing throughout the series and getting to know his background and watch him fall in love was heartwarming.

The main characters are both a bit emotionally raw at the time they stumble across each other and watching them connect in such a touching way sets the stage for friendship and camaraderie while passion softly grows.

I recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who enjoys a story about veterans finding a rewarding outlet of healing after coming home while dipping into the sweetness of a dog rescue.

Their night together had consequences.

Now their nuptials are nonnegotiable.

Fashionista Rosalind Banks flew to Texas to win back her ex-boyfriend. Instead, she spent the most passionate night of her life with a total stranger! Now Ros is having Gabriel Carrington’s baby and the Royal rancher just made an offer she can’t refuse. Gabe needs a wife and an heir, with a marriage on paper, strictly for show. But the rules of their arrangement are made to be broken. Will inconvenient chemistry derail their marriage of convenience or take it to a whole new level?

Fast paced and highly addictive! A surprise baby after a passionate one night stand will surely have Yvonne Lindsay fans hooked when the 3rd book in the Texas Cattleman’s Club: Fathers and Sons series heats up. MARRIED BY CONTRACT brings a marriage of convenience to life with an emotional pull and a desirable outcome.

Rosalind was an attention grabbing character. She was self-assured and accomplished and the fact that she came to town to reconnect with an ex but instead hooked herself an eligible bachelor was highly entertaining. I really wanted the awkward run in with Drake that never happened though!

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who likes a bit of drama mixed up in a fast paced romance of successful characters that always winds up just the way we want it to.

When Savin “Savage” Pajari and Seychelle Dubois first met, their connection was instant, their attraction undeniable. Their relationship has been full throttle since day one. Even though months have passed, the passion and love between them has only increased.

Savage completely owns what he is: a sadist in the bedroom who can only get off on his partner’s pain. He believes he’s not a good man, but he loves Seychelle with a fierceness that shocks him. He wants all of her, but only if she gives herself freely with eyes wide open.

Seychelle never imagined the lure of mixing pain with pleasure, or how much she’d crave Savage’s darkness. She’s been shaken to her core, but Seychelle is committed to Savage and their life together—even though he’s keeping a piece of himself back. And to truly make their relationship work, he has to give her everything that he is, just as she is doing for him.

Savage knows that what he really needs could break his woman if she isn’t ready. She agreed to come into his world, and he’s not about to give her up. He has to find a way to let her see the monster inside without pushing her away. But the real Savage might be more than Seychelle can bear...and he knows he wouldn’t survive losing her.

A wickedly decadent continuation of Savage and Seychelle’s life together! With the seventh book in her always intriguing Torpedo Ink series Christine Feehan brings us the 2nd book revolving around Savage and his way of coping with life and all the ugliness it throws the club’s way. I enjoy these two as a couple, but felt like this book was actually not necessarily needed to make them feel complete. There was a slight healing of the rift between her and his club, but most of the landscape was still devoted to his sadism instead of their relationship development. It was a good book, not a great one.

I recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who enjoys an emotionally vulnerable MC that takes on the world when needed, but feels the weight of it on their shoulders when all is said and done. They are a close-knit family with twisted pasts and kinky coping mechanisms.

She’s dedicated to helping others…

Now she’s the one in need of rescue.

As a witness to a prison bus crash, Dr. Ashley McTavish is only concerned with saving lives. But when she’s taken hostage, her own life is threatened. Ashley is undeniably attracted to her sole protector, a convict called Lucky. But when Lucky’s true identity as undercover agent Slade Palmer is revealed, he and Ashley must flee for their lives. Can they protect one another as feelings grow and danger looms?

High octane suspense! With the fifth book in her Honor Bound series Anna J. Stewart delights with a fast paced, edge of your seats ride in PRISON BREAK HOSTAGE. I was hooked from the first scene and the danger and tension did not stop throughout the whole book. Great characters, intense situations and just the right amount of angst versus romance. Loved every minute!

Ashley easily wraps herself around a reader’s heart because she thinks nothing of putting herself into danger in order to help another human being. She was tough, smart and very empathetic.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys an action packed mystery with danger, excitement and romance all wrapped into one highly enjoyable package.

After suffering a horrific injury that threatens to end his career, Baden Oulett is about to learn that sometimes a fresh start is just what the doctor ordered.

I worked my whole life to achieve one goal—play professional hockey. As part of the defending Cup champion Arizona Vengeance, I was living my dream until one split second decision destroyed it all. Instead of lacing up my skates and hitting the ice, I’ve spent my days in rehab and physical therapy just so I could walk again. When a coaching opportunity with the Pittsburgh Titans is presented to me, I find myself with a career I had never considered but which allows me to continue being part of the sport that I love.

While my injuries are physical, the same can’t be said for the woman I rescued. Suffering from wounds that can’t be seen, Sophie Winters has withdrawn from the world in fear and guilt. I didn’t know Sophie before that fateful night and have only met her once since, but I refuse to let her face her demons alone. Determined to be a friend, I support Sophie in the only way I know how… by simply being there.

Through our shared trauma, Sophie and I begin to find peace within one another. As we grow closer, what started as friendship becomes more intimate until our broken pieces become one. But can a love born of anguish endure, or will the pain of our past prove too much to overcome?

All eyes are on this team! With the highly anticipated kickoff to her new Pittsburgh Titans series, Sawyer Bennett brings us many familiar faces from her previous Arizona Vengeance team to help lay the groundwork for Baden’s new journey. I adored Baden and Sophie together and I really loved seeing all of the prior couples we loved rallying around, but my heart just simply wasn’t torn out and put back together again as harshly as I needed it to be for a gut-wrenching situation like this. Maybe it will come in future books, we shall see, but I needed to feel the angst more. Solid characters, a very intriguing plot and lots of emotion. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series for sure.

I recommend this book to anyone who loved Bennett’s Arizona Vengeance hockey series as much as I did and have been waiting to see Baden’s recovery pay off.

Theodore Edward Sims was supposed to be my hot summer hook-up, a stranger I slept with in Hawaii. Now, he’s my stepbrother’s new hockey teammate.

When we met, Theo was a sexy surfer in Maui, riding waves by day and rocking my world at night. After being played for a fool by my ex-fiancé, Theo proved to be a source of instant gratification.

He was refreshingly honest, engaging, and incredibly charming. Theo built me up when it felt like my world was crumbling down.

Turns out, he’s just like my ex. A liar.

To avoid the gossip of my failed engagement, I hightail it to Boston, where I’m forced to cross paths with a new version of Theo, aka Eddie Sims, Boston Hawks right wing. Here, he isn’t the well-connected, alluring surfer but a determined, angry hockey hunk with something to prove. Especially to me.

Except I’ve written him off. Once a liar, always a liar.

But Theo isn’t backing down. Instead, he’s hustling for my forgiveness. If I give him another chance, will he live up to his apologies? Or am I just lying to myself?

Full of humor, heartwarming family moments and a whole lot of sassy goodness! THE HUSTLER is the eighth book in Gina Azzi’s Boston Hawks Hockey series and brings us Eddie Sims’ story. It turns out Sims has a bit of an alter ego and watching him finagle his way into the woman’s heart that he irritated to no end with his secrets is fun to watch. It’s always a blast to see the previous couples in the series pop into scenes again. Loving this series!

Sofia’s character brings so much emotion and depth to the story, so it’s easy to adore her from the start.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to someone that enjoys a hockey connection with so much warmth, love and friendship rallying around through thick and thin adding ambiance to the story line.

Nicu

I am Nicu, the savage heir of the Romanian mafie Lupu clan.

I love rules: following them, imposing them, enforcing them.

As the last son of the Lupu clan, I would never dishonor our name or tarnish our reputation. But Jewel is neither mafie, nor a virgin.

With no rules to temper my savage nature, it’s no hold’s bar when it comes to her.

And the fact that she’s my fiancée’s best friend?

Means absolutely nothing to me.

Jewel

I made a terrible mistake, hooking up with my best friend’s fiancé. Those frosty blue eyes and dominant nature were a deadly combination I couldn’t resist.

Not only do I loathe the traditional mafie culture he comes from, but guilt over my mistake is eating me up inside.

I threw him out, swearing to myself that it would never happen again.

There’s just one problem…he won’t leave me alone.

I have a stalker on my hands, only I’m not sure I hate it.

Riveting from start to finish! The third book in The Lupu Chronicles picked up at an emotional high and held my attention throughout. THE SAVAGE HEIR by Monique Moreau continues the Romanian mafia series as the final brother continues his hot-headed dive into lust and gritty family business. I loved Jewel and Nicu together, but I wanted a bit more development of their storyline once they were truly a couple. Overall this series has been quite entertaining with emotional highs and dramatic lows. I hope to see books for Sebastian and Emma one day, and am looking forward to Tatum coming up next.

I recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who enjoys the passion and tension of a mafia type read with a close knit family and the love they bring into it.

Meet Monique Moreau

Growing up in New York City, I used to walk the hot pavements in the melting heat of the long summers, and dream. Uptown to downtown, eastside to the westside, and underground to catch a subway racing out into the boroughs.

During my wanderings, my magic pencil spun out fantasies full of romance, with first meetings, heartbreaks, and reunions. Sometimes my boy crush (unrequited, of course) starred as the hero.

I grew up, and after a stint in art school, became a lawyer ‘cuz a woman’s got to make a living. I came from parents who fled to France as refugees, and as an attorney, I dedicated my work to helping survivors of trauma and persecution.
I believe in them. In their grit, in their determination to hold on, to pull through and, somehow, someway, to keep themselves intact, body and soul.

Perhaps that is why I am drawn to writing stories of men and women who live through heart-rending pain, desperate yearnings and, ultimately, reach a place of redemption.

For a long time, I fought the urge to veer off the expected, safe path until I couldn’t go on unless I took a chance and made a change. I began to write, stopped, and began again. Finally, I gave in and here I am.

Come join me on my journey…

Dylan Walsh left his small town behind and vowed to never return. But when his brother needs help, Dylan steps back into the memories he tried so hard to forget. He thought there was nothing there for him anymore until a woman he knew as a little girl catches more than Dylan’s eye.

Rosie Gallo is known for her kind spirit, good-girl vibes, and her loyalty to the ones she loves. She’s spent her entire life avoiding the Walshes, knowing her father’s distaste for the family. But when Rosie’s ditched during a disastrous date, it’s a Walsh who puts a smile back on her face.

The attraction is easy, but the complications are many.

Can Dylan prove that he is more than his troubled past? Or is he as bad as the good girl next door always believed him to be?

Attention grabbing, fast paced, and adorable! With the next book in her always exciting Men of Inked: Heatwave series Chelle Bliss is bringing love to Rosie Gallo in ASHES and it’s super fun to watch her fall. I wanted a bit more development to really make things mesh, and this series always feels a little lacking on description of who the family members are for someone who hasn’t read all of series, but the connection between the main characters and the heart overflowing with family love always makes the series a hit for me. Steamy, down-to-earth and full of heart! I loved Dylan Walsh so hard! He’s the type of character that you instantly feel connected to because of the sadness he has suffered but that he didn’t let define him. I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys a large family dynamic as each of the next generation finds their one and only.
