She’s seen too much

And he’s running out of time to save her…

The last person security expert Luke Patterson ever expected to see again is in desperate trouble. Claire Wallace witnessed her boss’s murder…and the killer is tearing her quiet life apart to find her. Luke will do anything to protect the childhood friend he never forgot. But as their secrets become an inescapable trap, will they survive to have any future?

I’m hooked and highly anticipating more in the series! Janie Crouch is kicking off a new San Antonio Security series for Harlequin Intrigue with a group of closely knit adopted brothers who began their own security biz after working in the military or for law enforcement for several years. The characters are highly addictive, the camaraderie between the brothers is heartfelt and the tension around keeping Clair safe is a thrill ride. I loved every minute of Clair and Luke’s story and can’t wait for Brax, Weston and Chance to shine in their own books in the series!

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a highly intense bout of action and suspense mixed in with your romance.

He loved her once…

Can he risk falling for her again?

Since losing her son, Marcy has had a single focus: researching a cure for cancer. Meeting Dr. Dylan again is unexpected, and his compassionate warmth invades the fortress around her heart. Marcy’s even more beautiful than he remembers, but Dylan’s been abandoned too many times. As they fight for their patients’ lives, an irresistible passion flares between them. Dare they put themselves on the line again for a shot at happy-ever-after?

Sincere characters and addictive storylines quickly hooked me! The background of the heroine losing her young son to cancer was already pulling at my heartstrings even before I really got knee deep into the drama of this particular story so I knew it was going to be emotional. Dylan adds a down-to-earth stability to the cast and made him near and dear to my heart quickly. I enjoyed the connection they shared and living the turmoil right alongside them as they toiled to treat their patients and heal their own battered souls was rewarding. I recommend this book to anyone that enjoys a medical setting as the backdrop to your romance.

He was everything she didn't want and exactly what she needed.

She refuses to date him.

The daughter of the infamous Rake from the Wind Dragons MC, lawyer Natalie Ward knows all too well the problems that come with getting involved with a biker. That’s not for her—she’ll stick to suits over leather. And nothing will change her mind, especially not a sexy, built-like-a-Greek-god biker that rides for the Knights of Fury, another MC.

He loves a challenge.

Atlas is on a manhunt to find a rival gang leader and the last thing he needs is a distraction. But when he runs into Natalie at a bar with all her strength and beauty wrapped in a power suit, he can’t look away. He wants to forget her and running into her at every corner in town doesn’t make it easier. Being with her is impossible, but it’s the only thing that makes sense.

Never…say never.

When Atlas helps her get out of a difficult situation, Natalie can no longer ignore their growing attraction. But when a common enemy of both their clubs becomes a client at her law firm, she finds herself pulled into the very world she’s sought to avoid…

What a ride! I am really enjoying Chantal Fernando’s MC world and the roll-in of characters I’m already familiar with from her motorcycle custom shop series only makes it more sweet. The plot is thick with stressful moments as the hunt is still on for the culprits who are hurting the MC’s in town and watching Natalie and Atlas come together in a passionate connection is very satisfying. The characters hooked me quickly and the storyline carried me right up until the end. I’m looking forward to more to come in this world.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone that enjoys a close knit group of MC members and their families along with neighboring friends and even other MC’s  who are there for each other when danger swarms.

The proposal…

…she vowed never to accept!

Life has taught orphan Quinn Harper to trust only herself. So, whilst her secret fling with billionaire Micah Gould was her first taste of passion, it wasn’t supposed to last forever. Although it gets harder and harder to pull herself away from his bed…

The abominable actions of Micah’s father have left a permanent mark. Love isn’t in his future. Then his relationship with Quinn is suddenly exposed and, in Berlin, a new possibility presents itself. Quinn could be the convenient bride Micah needs…but can he be what she deserves?

Fireworks are flying in the 3rd book in Dani Collins’ Four Wedding and a Baby series! Readers of the previous book in the series will recognize the characters and the set up quickly as it picks up shortly after Quinn outed her secret years long affair with her bestie’s brother Micah. The characters are endearing and easy to like, the plot is rich with strife and drama and the emotions are spot on. I wanted a bit more when it came to the ending and follow through of their happily ever after, but overall I enjoyed their story a lot.

I recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys a bit of family drama with your romance.

Chase
Everyone expected me to play hockey.
I was good at it, but I was better at being a doctor.
So I hung up the skates and joined Doctors without Borders
But there is no place like home, so now I’m back.
And instead of being on the ice, I’m behind the bench as the team physician.
After years of playing cat and mouse, it’s time to admit it.
She’s mine.

Julia
Working as a social worker was a dream come true.
It wasn’t easy, and it has made me shut off my heart to love.
No commitment. No strings. No promises.
Until one fateful night changed everything.
He was there for me like no other one.
The biggest thing is I let him.
Maybe he was just made for me!

Heartfelt, emotional and oh so satisfying! With the first book in her Made For Hockey series, Natasha Madison brings us lots of familiar faces with family members of past couples from previous hockey books finding their way to each other and it felt like stepping into a room with family surrounding you. There was drama, there was love and laughter and above all there was tons of heart from every character we connected with. I’m looking forward to more to come in the series!
