Humorous, heartfelt and oh so emotional! The fourth book in Piper Raynes Dugout baseball series was a hit for me as it brought emotions to the forefront early and kept it pulling at my heartstrings throughout. The big twist that happens towards the end was unexpected and broke my heart for Hadley in a way, but she came out of it stronger and where she needed to be. Both characters were well developed and had an integral backstory that drew them to each other, so that kept them interesting as their story played out. I loved the humor of his team camaraderie, the strength of friends and family and the ease at which their love story played out.I loved this entire series and highly recommend it to sports romance fans who enjoy heart and humor with their romance!
