4 1/2 STARS!
Great story! It’s one of those books that grabs you from the first page and keeps you guessing right up until the end to figure out who all is involved in the crime!
Hidden Falls is still the same small town Samantha Parker remembers from all those years ago. She’s not happy to be home because of the bad memories this town holds for her, and will be leaving as soon as she can get her Mom’s house sold. She witnessed her brother’s murder 18 years ago, and being back at the scene of the crime is bringing back too many bad memories and dreams .. dreams that almost make it seem like there’s something she’s not remembering clearly.
Ethan McClane never planned to step foot back into Hidden Falls either, but he has a patient at the local high school that needs his help. As a child psychologist, he helps a lot of troubled teens and is doing this one as a favor for someone that helped him in the past.
As Samantha & Ethan connect through her student, they start to grow close … until danger starts rearing it’s ugly head all around her. Unaware of a past connection, they blindly walk into a bigger mess than they were expecting when trying to decipher what’s going on around them. When the murderer starts striking again, will they be able to make it out alive?
