“I want to taste you tonight.”

With chemistry this hot, it’s worth getting burned…

Billionaire Jack Grant is totally off-limits to Gemma Picton. He’s wild, deliciously dangerous…and her boss. When working late turns X-rated, it’s better than her wildest imaginings—and Gemma’s imagined a lot! But Jack has major emotional baggage, so when Gemma starts wanting to heal his heart as well as enjoy his body, she knows she’s in big trouble…

A spicy take on an affair with the boss! The characters are bold and go after what they want, so are a joy to get to know and watch as they each try to get their personality mixed into their relationship. While overtly sold as a no-holds-barred sexual rendezvous type of book, there’s also an underlying story of heartache and healing. It was really fun to read!

Gemma Picton knows she shouldn’t lust after him … her boss, promiscuous playboy, emotionally stunted soul, sexy as all get out man … but telling herself something and actually doing it are two totally different things. She’s controlled herself for so long, but all of a sudden she wants to be bad … and she finds herself hoping upon hope that she might actually be able to heal his heart!

Billionaire Jack Grant doesn’t want a relationship. He wants sex … lots of it … with an endless array of women, never repeating! Gemma is a rock star to him in his business, so he’s not one to take that lightly, but he’s finding it hard to resist the draw to her he’s feeling lately. He just has to get her on the same page that they are sex … only sex.

A tiger shifter falls for a werewolf

But their passion is forbidden…

Rock star Khan hides his shifter status behind his bad-boy reputation. But the weretiger is floored by the combined beauty and talent of singer Sarange Tsedev…who doesn’t know she’s a wolf! Their chemistry is potent, but tigers and wolves don’t mix. Still, Khan’s and Sarange’s past and present are linked; it will take their combined magical abilities to create a future together.

Electrifying chemistry! I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not a typical reader of shifter/werewolf books, but the rock star bad boy sold me! The early excitement of the book was attention grabbing and kept me turning page after page to see where it all would lead, whether they would find a way to be together, and why they felt so connected. The characters were easy to like and follow into their forever after, and the plot was intriguing. I would have liked to see the rock star portion carry forward more throughout the story, but overall it was an entertaining read!

Sexy rock star Khan is on top of the world on the road with his band, but all that he thought he wanted in life is blown away when he sees her. She’s gorgeous, assured and more talented that he ever imagined possible. He can’t imagine walking away without having her … if only they weren’t polar opposites!

Singer/songwriter Sarange Tsedev is thankful to Khan for the work he’s done to help out her non-profit fundraiser, but she can’t believe how arrogant he is. He’s stalking around her like he owns her! She wishes she could ignore him the way anyone in her right mind would do .. if only she didn’t feel like she was drawn to him! When danger comes knocking and secret truths are revealed, she is shocked to learn that not only is she a werewolf, but Khan is a shifter tiger and she shouldn’t want him .. but she does … and when the past collides with the future, they’ll understand their calling more clearly!

An innocent beauty, a scarred hero…

Could she be the one to open up his heart?

Handsome but guarded former Hollywood star Deacon Santoro prefers the confines of his mansion since an accident left him scarred both inside and out. But he promised to protect sparky beauty Gabrielle Dupré, his new PA. Can Gabrielle convince Deacon that love will give them the fairy-tale ending they deserve?

Love when you least expect it! With a take on a beauty and the beast story, Jennifer Faye brings us the story of a man who suffered injuries in an accident that took away his striking Hollywood face and left him a bitter, tortured man. Will secrets hinder them acting on the attraction they feel towards each other? And when some truth comes to light that changes the outlook they’ve all been assuming for months now, will it bring them closer together? I enjoyed the characters, but would have liked a little more development around the subject that brought them together in the first place. The story was touching and I enjoyed it.

Former Hollywood heartthrob Deacon Santoro has hidden away in his Malibu mansion since a horrific car crash changed his life in the blink of an eye. He has issues to try to overcome, and truth to try to capture and live with. When circumstances bring Gabrielle Dupre into his life as his new temporary assistant, she shakes up his closed off world and makes him come out amongst the living again! Will being in such close quarters show her the type of man he really is, or will she leave thinking he’s the same closed-off gruff man that she walked in the door seeing?

A delightful read! With a different take on a surprise baby story, Michelle Douglas takes us on a journey of surprise and discovery as they slowly fall in love and work through this mysterious baby situation. The characters are really easy to like and fall under the spell of their story. The plot had a few unexpected turns that kept it interesting, and despite dragging in a few places was a really enjoyable playground towards their happy ending!

Even though Hannah has met the man of her dreams, she knows she can’t keep him. He’s far too normal and down to earth for her screwed up background. Even so, she can’t say no when Morgan puts a square-cut diamond on her finger. What she “can” do is drag her feet about setting a date. And then she comes up with an inspired plan. She tells Morgan she wants the two of them to go to premarital counseling…but it’s a brand new approach that focuses on sexual intimacy. She’s sure Morgan will say no, and she can continue to put off setting a date. But she has underestimated her fiancé. He calls her bluff. Soon the two of them are neck deep in therapy sessions that involve talking to other couples and after that, some very private role playing. What should have been easy and fun turns out to reveal the couple’s deepest desires, but their deepest fears and insecurities as well. Only when Morgan’s bedrock-solid life is shaken to its foundation by an unexpected event do he and Hannah finally end up on common ground and head for the altar.

A super quirky take on a romance … but in the end, it works! Hannah doesn’t believe in love and marriage … yet she’s engaged to the man of her dreams! Morgan is a great guy who is patient and loving with her as she works her way through her issues. It was really easy to dislike the way she treated him … but I also felt sorry for the life she had been subjected to early on that led to her hang-ups. It’s an unusual take on a romance, but by the end I was really invested in their story and pulling for their happy ending.

Hannah Quarles has found the man of her dreams … only she knows it won’t last! She’s seen too much in her time and knows that love doesn’t last forever. She shouldn’t lead him on, but he’s such a great guy! When he places a gorgeous engagement ring on her finger, she can’t help herself … she says yes! But now she has to figure out how to stall setting the date long enough for it all to fall apart beforehand.

Morgan Webber adores Hannah and wants to spend his life with her. He’s not so wrapped up in love that he can’t see that she’s hesitant and not really “all in” like he is. He only hopes his love will prove to her that he’s there to stay. When he pushes to set a date, she comes up with yet another delaying tactic … a new type of premarital counseling that centers on sex. Say what?!?! Oh she’s not going to get away with it this time, he’s going to call her bluff and do the counseling in exchange for a wedding date!

We met in a trapped elevator.

Emmett was on his way to work, sophisticated and handsome in his tailored suit and tie.

I was on my way to the sperm bank. Awkward, right?

At thirty-five, my life hadn’t taken the path I thought it would and I was tired of waiting—I wanted a baby. And I was ready to take matters into my own hands to make it happen.

After our ill-fated elevator encounter, Emmett insisted on taking me to dinner—he also insisted on something else—that I ditch my plan involving a turkey baster and let him do the job. He would be my baby daddy. He was a wealthy and powerful CEO with little interest in diapers or playdates. And since he didn’t want kids, I’d be on my own once his bun was in my oven, free to go my own way.

But once his baby was inside me, it was like a switch had been flipped, and I got a whole lot more than I ever bargained for.

Delightfully HOT! A super quick and easy read with a lot of spice and some goodnatured humor. The characters are easy to like, and the plot while being a little out there, is super cute.

Could this day get any more stressful? Jenna Porter is on her way to the appointment of her lifetime at the fertility clinic when BAM, she’s stuck in an elevator! At least she has something to look at while she’s there since she’s stuck with CEO Emmett Smith. He’s super hot … and he knows it!

Emmett is always up for a good time, and right now the good time standing in front of him is looking mighty fine. All he has to do is convince the pretty lady that he can take the sterile ugliness out of her dream and put a baby in her the good old fashioned way!

Adorably sweet and heart-wrenching all in one! My heart was stolen by a four year old! 🙂 Such a great story! The hero and heroine have both had a hard time with love in the past and carry the scars on their heart each and every day to prove it. Daniel has suffered immeasurable loss and isn’t sure he can heal himself enough to be any good for Keela and Anna … but he sure wishes they could be his! The Delaney family is really down to earth and fun to spend time with, and I’m looking forward to more to come in this trilogy!

He’s finally stepping outside of his comfort zone and making a go of a new practice, and his new assistant is turning out to be his best employee ever … even before he starts to fall for her!

She cheated death once…But a killer still lurks.

After a gunshot rips streetwise police officer Gina Galvan from the line of duty, all she wants is to return to the front line and stop a shooter. But good guy physical therapist Mike Cutler won’t back down from a challenge, or his blazing attraction to Gina. Without a badge or a gun, Mike is ready to face anyone—including a killer—to prove he’s every inch a hero.

Exciting from start to finish! With the next book in her ever-popular The Precinct series, Julie Miller brings some familiar faces to life. Years ago, we met the hero Mike Cutler Jr. as an angry, yet good-hearted teenager in TAKEDOWN, the book that brought us his father Michael Cutler’s story. It was a really unique experience that we don’t get the pleasure of seeing very often in a Harlequin to turn around a character we already loved from that previous story and make him the one we’re following towards his own happily ever after now. I loved it! If you read that previous book, you already have a warm-fuzzy feeling in your heart for the young man that he was, and now we get to see the man he’s grown into, the life that he has lived since we last saw him, and watch him develop a patient relationship into more when Gina comes into the picture. Great story line, well developed characters and a unique story idea! He couldn’t top his father in my heart, but man did he come close! 🙂

As a cop on the Kansas City Police Department, Gina Galvan lives to take down the bad guys. She’s well on her way towards making her dreams come true in the department when an unexpected bullet takes her down.

Physical therapist Mike Cutler happens to be in the right place at the right time to get a downed officer help in a timely fashion. When his dad brings her to him asking for some PT help down the road, they recognize each other. Mike is intrigued by her, and doesn’t hesitate to show his attraction, but is Gina willing to put aside her tough gal attitude to allow a relationship to develop?
