An oasis of escape
In a life of duty…

Star Soames has one week in Duratra to track down her family’s long-lost diamonds. Facing a fruitless quest, she allows herself an encounter with a gorgeous stranger in the royal palace. But “Kal” turns out to be Sheikh Khalif Al Azhar!

Star awakens a curiosity Khalif hasn’t felt since a tragic accident made him heir to the throne. But surrendering to their attraction is risky when duty decrees he always choose country over their chemistry…

Pippa Roscoe delights in this forbidden romance! With the second book in her Diamond Inheritance series Roscoe continues the journey of three siblings searching for lost family fortune in order to care for their ill mother. The chemistry between Star and Kal was easy to connect with and their journey towards happily ever after was a pleasure.

Star is sweet and pure and doesn’t take her journey lightly, but the attraction she feels for this worldly man tempts her like no other.

Sheikh Khalif is healing from family tragedy and the newfound pressure he has to endure to rule his kingdom and Star is a like a breath of fresh air to him.

I highly recommend this book and the entire series to a reader who enjoys a hint of royalty mixed in with emotional turmoil and a sweet romance.

Genevieve Daylee didn’t expect to be standing in front of a judge on her twenty-seventh birthday. But ever since her life became entangled with a former motorcycle gang, she’s learned not to expect anything but trouble.

Her mother, a woman she once admired and adored, is gone, leaving behind a trail of secrets and lies. She’s living in a tiny apartment above a garage owned by her brother, a man who loathes her very existence. And the father she met beside her mother’s grave is as much of a stranger as Isaiah Reynolds, the broken man with soulless eyes standing beside her in front of the judge.

Isaiah is her protector from the murderer at large in Clifton Forge. Though he’s more like a riven knight in dented armor than a prince on a white stallion. She knows next to nothing about him, other than he works as a mechanic. As of tonight, he’ll be sharing her bathroom.

And, according to the judge, Isaiah is now her husband.

Explosive secrets bring answers we weren’t expecting as Devney Perry picks up her Tin Gypsy series with a highly emotional second book, RIVEN KNIGHT. The characters are attention grabbing, the fallout from their actions roars to life and happily ever afters are tested.

Genevieve is easy to like and sympathize with as she enters into the life of this family she didn’t know she had.

Isaiah is a gentle soul who is trying to overcome his past and slowly learn that he deserves a better future than he ever imagined he could have.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys seeing the sins of a motorcycle club come back to haunt them even as they try to live in the straight and narrow.

A jilted bride. Her brother’s ex-buddy. An affair would be crazy…right?

Chloe Kingston’s life is exactly how she needs it: safe and stable. Right up until her reliable, low-risk fiancé jilts her on their fairy-tale wedding day. As she works her way through the reception champagne—and wonders where she’s going to live—she stumbles into her brother Linc’s ex-best friend.

If only Beckett Daniels were hideous. But he’s not. He’s everything her erstwhile groom was not. Hot. Sexy. Dangerous. And she’s just buzzed enough to want all that Greek-god gorgeousness to show her the kind of fun she’s been missing.

Beck thrives on calculated risks, but taking advantage of Linc’s little sister isn’t one of them. What he can do is haul her tipsy, tulle-clad, tempting little butt to the bridal suite to sleep it off. Then move her into his spare room—which has the satisfying side effect of driving her brother crazy.

They can’t remain platonic roommates for long. Not when the sexual attraction sizzles out of control. But when tragedy threatens Beck, pain from his past reminds them both that life doesn’t come without risks…and this time, they're gambling with their hearts.

Wicked temptation with a side of sweet and loveable! The second book in Carly Phillips’ Kingston Family series is filled with heart, emotional healing and loads of steamy encounters. I’m so looking forward to continuing this series!

Chloe shows a lot of growth in this story as she works to overcome her hang ups about what is best for her future. She wasn’t as connectible as some, but I enjoyed her story.

I loved Beckett and he was my favorite part of this story. He’s kind with a lot of compassion and a good heart.

I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys a close knit family who supports each other through life’s up and downs as each sibling finds their forever.

Sometimes the biggest emotional risk can reap the best romantic reward…

After everything she worked for is destroyed, pediatrician Natasha Gray is determined to build a new life. Divorced, bankrupt and suddenly a single mom, she’s ready to start over in Silver Springs—on her own. She certainly doesn’t need help from Mack Amos, the man who’s already broken her heart twice.

Although Mack has had feelings for Tash since they first met, too many things have stood in the way. He’s always given her the support she needs, though, and he’ll do the same now. Even if the desire he wrestles with threatens to undermine his intentions…

But her heart is not the only reason Natasha wants to keep Mack at bay. More time in her life means getting closer to her son, which could lead to a revelation neither of them is ready to face.

Brenda Novak always hooks me quickly with delectable characters, emotional portrayals and beautiful happily ever afters! With book eight in her always delightful Silver Springs series Novak takes her longtime readers on a journey back to Whiskey Creek when she reunites Natasha with the Amos family. Readers of both series’ will be delighted, but readers of only the Silver Spring one will have some catching up to do with a passel of new characters and little in the way of familiar faces. I highly enjoyed the story and found it very heartwarming to see Tash finally get her man.

Natasha is easy to like and quickly endears herself to a reader’s heart. She’s looking to pick up the pieces of her exploded life by moving to Silver Springs, but a familiar face from her life in Whiskey Creek is stirring up emotions she thought she had laid to rest long ago.

Mack is solid and loyal and looking for answers that he’s wondered about for years. Reconnecting with Tash at a time when letting the feelings he has for her show is actually possible is a new temptation.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys an emotional journey towards happily ever after in a small town with some bumps along the way.

He's the tattooed bad boy her mama warned her about.
She's his hot mess--but mostly hot--next door neighbor.
Until a two-night-stand gives them the surprise of a lifetime...

Jillian Morris is a workaholic who forgets to watch the time. And to eat. And to change her shoes. And to keep even a house-plant alive. And to have any kind of a personal life.

Now an eccentric millionaire has left her sixteen million dollars. And eight penguins. Yes, real live penguins. She's a wildlife vet who specializes in penguins, so that makes sense. Kind of. She can, and does, keep penguins alive and well. She now just has to move them cross-country to her friend's new animal park.

So if anyone deserves a one-night (or two) stand with a hot, younger, tattooed bad boy on a motorcycle, it's her. Or so Jill tells herself when Zeke Landry flips his bike in front of her motel.

If only she'd known who he really was.
And that he was the fall-hard-and-fast type.
And the protective type.
And that one night would turn into more like nine-months of being...sigh...very personal.

This adorable goat induced meet cute will not steer you wrong! Erin Nicholas knows the way to my heart by this point … a sexy Cajun and some animals to boot. What more could I ask for? The third book in her hilarious and heartfelt Boys of the Bayou Gone Wild series has it all and more! FLIPPING LOVE YOU brings the baddest Landry to his knees and man was it heartwarming to be along for the ride.

Jillian comes across as serious and a bit self-deprecating but Zeke is quick to bring out a fun underside of her that she really didn’t even know was there. I enjoyed their connection.

Zeke is a doll. He’s sweet, he’s sexy, he’s an all around nice guy who has been spoiled rotten to the core by his entire family. Watching him fall hard and fast and have to actually put forth an effort was so much fun.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who loves warmth, laughter and family mixed in with your happily ever afters.

Excerpt

He lifted a hand to run it through his wet hair. Her eyes followed the motion, seemingly riveted on his arm. He wasn’t sure if it was the tattoo or what exactly. But he did know that Jillian was fascinated with his ink. She had traced all of it with her fingers and tongue last night more than once. And he had a lot of ink. “I’m the guy who’s remodeling your house.” Her eyes widened. “We’re going to be neighbors.” He let his grin grow slowly. “Yup.” She tipped her head back and groaned. But it wasn’t one of the hot oh-my-God-yes groans she’d been giving him last night. This was more of oh-crap groan. “You’re clearly not as excited about that as I am,” he said dryly.

Her head came up and she met his eyes. Now there was no roaming over his half naked body. She shook her head. “It just feels complicated to live next door to the guy I’m hooking up with once a month.” He was confused. “We’re hooking up once a month?” “Well, that was what I was going to propose anyway. Friends with benefits, you know? After last night I thought that could be kind of fun.” “That would be fun. Very, very fun,” he said. “But why only once a month? I’m up for that kind of fun way more often.” “Sure. But then it turns into more like dating or a relationship or something rather than just getting together for hot sex.” “And I take it the relationship and dating thing is something you’re trying to avoid?” “Very much so. And living next door to you means that we’ll see each other occasionally and since you’ll be saving me from alligators on a regular basis, we could potentially turn into actual friends. And that makes the hooking up even more complicated.” Having the sun up hadn’t made him feel any less attracted to, slightly confused by, surprised by, and definitely amused by this woman. “But friends with benefits has friends right in the title.” This all sounded good to him. Having a neighbor he could get naked with whenever the urge struck, who didn’t want anything else from him, sounded pretty great. “I’m just really not interested in a relationship,” Jill went on. “I’m not good at them. And I don’t really have time for them. And I don’t put the effort into them, which ends up bothering the other person after a while. Which is understandable. I’m not blaming anyone. I just really like to have everything laid out and everyone on the same page. And I like sex. It would be really perfect to be able to have amazing sex, but only when it’s convenient.” Zeke gave a soft snort. Convenient hot sex. It really did sound pretty amazing. “If you just want to walk through my door, only wearing a robe and nothing underneath to save time, I’m not gonna kick you out, cher,” he told her. He was half-teasing. But only half. She finally gave him a hint of a smile. “I can just show up on your front porch anytime I want?” He reached up and cupped the side of her head. He brought her in close and put his mouth against hers. “Any freaking time.”

They have different ideas about the fate of an old inn...until it brings them together.

When Sarah Lewis inherits a run-down B&B from her late grandmother in coastal Blue Moon Bay, the logical thing to do is sell it and focus on her life in L.A. But when she learns that interested buyers will only tear it down in its current state, she feels a sense of obligation to her grandmother to get it back to the landmark tourist destination it once was...even if that means hiring the best contractor for the job, who happens to be her old high school crush.

Wes Sharrun’s life has continued to unravel since the death of his wife three years before. Now with a struggling construction company and a nine-year-old daughter, he sees the B&B as an opportunity to get back on his feet. Unfortunately, despite trying to keep his distance, his daughter has taken a liking to Sarah, and his own feelings are tough to deny.

As they spend more time together painting, exploring a forgotten treasure trove of wine in a basement cellar, and arguing over balcony placement, the more the spark between them ignites. But will saving the B&B be enough to convince them both to take a second chance at love?

Adorably sweet with a side of sass! Jennifer Snow is kicking off her brand new Blue Moon Bay series with a gem of a friends to lovers twist and I loved every minute of it. A LOT LIKE LOVE reconnects these old high school friends with Sarah holding on tight to a long winded grudge against Wes. Endearing characters, equal parts sweet and fiery and well deserved happily ever afters.

Sarah is a self-sufficient , strong-willed character, but when she’s faced with working with her long ago high school crush on a daily basis, her willpower is likely to sag. Throw in his precociously brilliant daughter and she’s definitely a goner!

Wes is a devoted father and an all around good guy. He’s suffered loss and is trying to pick the pieces back up and gain a better future for his family of two, but Sarah is a temptation he never expected.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a small coastal town feel to a cast of close-knit characters and a mystery or two thrown in to boot on that way towards forever.

What if the woman he wants…
Is the one finding his bride?

When Matteo Vitale strides into matchmaker Emmaline Woodcroft’s office, he has an unusual request. He must marry and father an heir if he’s to inherit his family estate. After his first marriage ended tragically, what he needs is a wife who isn’t looking for love!

To understand her enigmatic client, Emmie accepts an invitation to his Italian villa. As she gets closer to the real Matteo, for once she gives in to desire. The trouble is, Emmie knows she can’t be the bride Matteo’s looking for…

There’s a bit of mixing work with pleasure in THE BILLION-DOLLAR BRIDE HUNT by Melanie Milburne and I enjoyed every minute of it! Intriguing back stories, emotional turmoil and a breathtaking happily ever after.

Matteo is an attention grabbing character. He needs a wife to produce an heir and let him fulfill his father’s will bequest, but he never imagined falling for the woman who was supposed to help him make it all happen.

Emmaline has overcome a lot in her life and wishing for a future with this enigmatic man might be more than she has ever dreamed of, but she’s holding out hope.

I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys seeing emotional turmoil be overcome on the way towards that happily ever after.

This is the story of a man falling in love with a woman.

A man that was supposed to be a role model, and a woman that was just barely twenty-one.

A man who should’ve known better, and a woman that didn’t know that she was destroying his career word by word, innocent touch by innocent touch, smile by smile, until it had already imploded.

The world collapses around Absinthe ‘Sin’ Solomon, and the only thing he can do is try not to take her down with him.

The moment the inevitable happens, and the gavel bangs signaling that he will spend the next nine years in prison for attempted murder, Sin tries to let go. But Blaise Mackenzie has never, not ever, been one to give up without a fight.

Her military career might be over, but her career as a prison guard is just about to get started.

And her favorite prisoner? A pissed-off older man, a drill sergeant dishonorably discharged from the Army that tells himself daily that the new ‘Kitty Kitty’ female prison guard is not for him.

After following him around for years, watching over him from afar in any way she can, Sin is released early. And the first person that he’s going to see? A stubborn little blonde-headed female that should’ve known better than to trust a man like him.

A fast paced mash up of intense intrigue and passionate alliances! Lani Lynn Vale continues to develop a character time and time again that gets under her reader’s skin and has us routing for that happily ever after throughout the entire saga. I’m really enjoying the Souls Chapel Revenants MC series and KITTY KITTY continues the addiction with book five.

Absinthe is such an endearing character. With one look into the eyes of his future love, he fell under her spell forever more and would do anything to protect her. Watching him do so both in and out of prison is meaningful.

Blaise is a sweetheart. Life didn’t turn out the way she expected it to, but she is determined to remain right by the side of the man she loves from afar.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who likes an emotionally intense romance with lots of passion, suspense and such a brotherhood of loyalty even among a group of misfits.

What happens when two people who’ve given up on forever find it in each other…?

Single men are as scarce in Forever Falls as a vegetarian at a barbecue. That is, until Ethan Hammersmith moves in. After his fiancée gave him an ultimatum, he left Australia and never looked back. He isn’t in America to find a new girlfriend, though. He’s searching for the father he never knew. But now it’s like he has a flashing sign above his head that says “available.” Thankfully, the manager of the local diner is willing to give him cover—if only she weren’t so distractingly adorable.

Monroe Roberts, town misanthrope and divorcée, knocked “forever” permanently off her wish list ever since the love of her life skipped town with the cliché yoga instructor. And good riddance. She’s got this struggling diner to keep her busy, trying anything to boost sales…until a hot Australian strolls in and changes everything. Monroe’s restaurant is packed full of women who aren’t there to order food, unless Ethan is on the menu. This could sink her business faster than ever. So—light bulb—what if they pretend to be together?

It sounded like the perfect plan. It hilariously was not...

A delightful small town romance filled with witty banter, heartfelt connections and bouts of steamy goodness! Stefanie London has a way of creating a character that is easy to connect with and is quick to warm your heart with the ins and outs of their life. In FOREVER STARTS NOW two people from opposites realms cross paths and with a mix of snarky humor and emotional turmoil they quickly learn to lean on each other as life trudges down new and exciting roads. I loved every minute of Ethan and Monroe!

Monroe is strong-willed and easy to rely on, but she’s had just about all of the knocking down she can take in life and she needs things to go her way for a change. Turning the diner around is her last chance to keep this gem around for those who count on it.

Ethan is on a journey of self-discovery as he tries to forget the life he walked away from and lean towards finding the answers he thinks will finally make the world make sense for him.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a fast paced read that will have you loving the characters quickly and will ingrain this town into your heart one character at a time throughout.

He vowed to always be there for her…

But not as her husband!

Winona Sheehan and Grant Culhane have been BFFs since childhood. So when Winona’s sort-of boyfriend ditches their ill-advised Vegas wedding, Grant is there…with his sexy smiles and way too much consolation! Suddenly, Winona trades one groom for another—and Grant’s baby is on the way. With buddy boundaries crossed and a yearslong secret crush fulfilled, Winona wonders if her husband is ready for a family…or firmly in the friend zone.

Fast paced, flirty and fun! Helen Lacey is delighting her readers with a friends to lovers/surprise baby story in her beloved Culhanes of Cedar River series newest release. Best friends take a drunken night a little too far and before they know it a little one is on the way. The drama is high and the sentimentality is spot on. Really enjoying this series!

Winona is a complex character. She has a heart of gold, but she’s got a habit of jumping before she looks and this time it has gotten her into quite a pickle.

Grant is loyal and true, so he’s sure to step up to the plate when Winona needs him, but admitting his feelings is a bit harder to stomach.

I recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who enjoys a small town romance filled with sibling camaraderie, loyalty and so much heart.
