From pro rugby player to...manny?

Australian rugby pro Cole Hauser has had enough of speculations about his future post-injury. So when a football buddy puts his house in America at Cole's disposal, he jumps at the chance for some peace and anonymity. The plan is perfect—until he discovers he's roomies with a woman who knows how to wield a nail gun and her kid. Awesome. Not.

Single mom Jane Spencer is supposed to be spending four weeks alone in the wilds of Colorado rehabbing a house that’ll put her business on the map. Instead, her time is overrun by her four-year-old and a grumpy, too-sexy rugby dude whose only goals are to watch ESPN and brood. Awesome. Not.

When, surprisingly, McHottie offers to get his ass off the couch and help Jane out with Finn, she’s hesitant. But before she knows it, Cole is knee-deep in kid activities during the day and they’re both fighting their simmering attraction at night.

Anything between them can only be temporary - their time together is short and Cole lives on the other side of the planet. It should be easy to say goodbye, right? Wrong. It doesn't take long for them to realize they've borrowed a whole lot of trouble.

But trouble never felt this good.

Sweet, sexy and adorable! When a sexy former rugby star finds himself cohabitating with a hardworking mom and her precocious four year old son, good times ensue! The connection Cole makes with little Finn will melt your heart. The storyline in general is a bit of a slow burn but eventually heats up and delivers a spicy affair mixed with a growing attraction towards forever.

Cole is at a crossroad after an injury derails his career as he knew it. He’s more stable than one might expect, but has a bit of soul searching to do to figure out where he goes from here back home in Australia … especially since he’s falling for an American and her son!

Jane is tough as nails and loves hard. She’s been let down too much in life to let herself fall easily into a quick connection with this guy who’s going to be leaving any day now … but watching him adore her son is her favorite kind of torture.

I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys when a temporary affair turns into forever.

Nicole “Coco” Martin is destined to have it all. As the only child of doting and successful parents, she has been given every opportunity in life. Having inherited her mother’s stunning beauty and creativity, along with her father’s work ethic and diligence, she has the world at her feet. Her graduation from Columbia is fast approaching, and with it the summer job of her dreams working at a magazine. Between work, leisurely weekends at her family’s home in Southampton, and spending as much time as possible with her best friend, Sam, life couldn’t be better—until tragedy strikes. Coco’s beloved parents are killed in a terrorist attack while on vacation in France.

Now devastated and alone, Coco must find a way to move forward and make her way in the world without the family she loved. Determined to forge her own path and make her parents proud, Coco pursues her dreams, dazzled by exciting opportunities that come her way. Her goals are to think outside the box—and always play by her own rules. As she finds herself drawn to charismatic, fascinating men, each relationship will teach Coco new lessons, some delightful, some painful. She will come to realize what matters, and how strong she truly is—and in the end, she will discover herself.

Richly exploring one woman’s poignant journey through life, All That Glitters is a compelling tale of challenges, heartbreak, discovery, and triumph, a powerful reminder that all that glitters is not the essence of life. And what is truly worth having was right there in our hands all along.

A story of coming of age during tragedy. As always with a Danielle Steel novel, I picked it up and fell deeply into a connection with the characters. It was a fast paced storyline with light complexity. It wasn’t my favorite of her latest releases, but it was an easy read with lots of interesting characters and connections.

Coco is on the verge of graduating from college and stepping into the big bad world with a dream internship when life as she knew it is ripped from her in one fell swoop with her parents being killed in a foreign terrorist attach while traveling. The emotion is high and love and sadness prevail as she tries to pick up the pieces of her future without her two stabilizers.

She portrays a loyalty that shines bright when showcasing the relationship she has shared over the years with her best friend Sam. Her career ambition is strong, but she keeps her eyes open as different facets of the field intrigue her. Her only weakness is her quickness to succumb to the wrong type of men and inability to stand on her own without one by her side.

I enjoyed the book and recommend it to anyone who wants an easy read without a lot of interwoven drama and saga like storyline.

Arrogant, infuriating, insufferable…

And the sexiest man she’s ever met.

Wren Maxfield hates Creed Cooper, but now she’s working with the wealthy rancher over the holidays! Those strong feelings hide undeniable chemistry…and one wild night results in pregnancy. Now Creed vows to claim his heir. That means proposing a marriage in name only. But as desire takes over, is that a deal they can keep?

Enemies to lovers … and soon to be parents! With the book two in her Gold Valley Vineyards series, Maisey Yates has two rival families collide when Wren and Creed can no longer fight the temptation when they’re in the same room with each other. Both characters have strong back stories, but Wren’s is easier understood if you have read the first book in the series before reading this one. I enjoyed their connection and am looking forward to more in the series.

Wren is fit to be tied when a stupid night of passion with her sworn enemy leaves her pregnant and having to decide if she will give in to Creed’s demand of marriage. She’s headstrong and loyal and an easy to like character.

Creed is super easy to understand once his past is unraveled and brought into the storyline. I adored him.

I recommend this book and the series as a whole to anyone who enjoys a family owned winery taking center stage as the siblings find their happily ever afters.

Nox is falling for me, but he shouldn't. I have secrets and if he knew the truth he'd drop me in a heartbeat. The problem is I'm falling for him too, but when my past comes out he's going to hate me. Nothing is as it seems. My whole life is a lie. Everything except Nox.

You will be hooked from the first page! With book two in her Untamed Sons MC series, Jessica Ames picks up where the excitement left off in book one as Lucy comes crashing through the gates of the clubhouse in NOX. The tension is high, the secrets they uncover are life changing and the passion between Lucy and Nox is palpable. I wanted more relationship development to make them feel complete, but I’m enjoying this group of people and look forward to more in the series for sure!

Nox is spellbinding. He’s loyal, he’s passionate and he’s going to always protect those he loves. He’s quick to put Lucy in that category, but when her secrets and lies are exposed, he’s bitten off more than he can chew this time.

Lucy was easy to like in the first book in the series, but you have to question why she wasn’t honest with her BFF Sasha so the mess that arises in this book might have been avoided if they weren’t flying blind. I liked her, but she could have been more truthful to the people trying to help her.

I recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who enjoys a MC romance filled with alpha men who fall hard once the right lady crosses their path.

EXCERPT
I jolt back, letting another tear fall as my world comes apart. For the first time in a long time, I felt like I was home, like I had family, people who cared. My lies destroyed that. I should have left straight away. I should have carried on running. I shouldn’t have let my guard down around a man as dangerous as Nox.
I did, though.
Why?
Because I wanted a slice of what Sasha had. I wanted people who cared about me, who would go to the edge of the world for me, who would stand up to my bullies.
I was stupid thinking that would happen. Unlike Sasha, I’m not part of their world. I’m here because of her, and that branch they held out to me has now been snapped.
“You fucking lied to me,” he growls, striding over to the bed and leaning on it so he can get in my face.
I flinch, swallowing down my fear, my sense of injustice. I didn’t want this life.

After losing her job, saying goodbye to a lifelong dream and having an all-around cruddy year, Bronte Pierce needs a break. A job at Fast & Fury might be just the thing to reset her life, even though she knows nothing about custom motorcycles. But taking a job isn’t the same as keeping it, and her fresh start quickly turns into a fresh nightmare.

Starting with her boss. Crow is hardheaded, stubborn and brutally honest. He may be easy on the eyes, but he runs with an MC and he’s anything but friendly to Bronte. She suspects he has a softer side—just not for her.

Her whole life, Bronte has known that the only person she can truly count on to save the day is herself. But when a single murder turns into a conspiracy and the threat to her life is more than she can handle alone, it’s Crow who comes through—and her newfound family might just become her greatest strength.

A surly hunk of a boss just might be her salvation when her world starts to crumble around her! With the first book in her brand new Fast & Fury series Chantal Fernando takes her reader on a roller coaster ride filled with heartache, turmoil and danger as passion overrides it all in this electrifying story.

Bronte is an easily relatable character as she gets hit with bad news after bad news and has to make life adjustments on the fly. Her story is attention grabbing and very enjoyable.

Crow is brusque, surly and bad boyish, but has a heart of gold and will protect her to the end of time.

I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a bit of MC, a bit of suspense and a passionate romance building throughout. I’m looking forward to more to come in the series.

A biker princess. A broken billionaire. Will his sins come back to haunt them?

The darling little sister of the Demon Squad MC, Sammi loved everything about growing up in the club, including her infuriating older brother Puck. She'd do anything for Puck. After he gets arrested, she marches into the courtroom to give him a piece of her mind and marches out with the prosecutor's full attention.

Recently clean and sober, prosecutor Stanton Prescott is focused on two things: working his caseload and making his very unprivate life, well…private. But when a sassy woman interrupts one of his cases to give the defendant a dressing down, she’s a temptation he can’t resist.

Stanton tracks Sammi down and makes her a proposal – be her sugar daddy in exchange for a taste of her luscious body. After a month in rehab, Stanton’s active imagination is dying to be set loose. He counts on her to agree, in exchange for getting Puck out of prison. What he doesn’t expect is for Sammi to see past his sophisticated mask. She not only sees him, but revels in the demanding beast within.

Together the pair battle angry exes, suspicious bikers, and other shadowy figures. Will their unlikely love survive the sins of Stanton's past?

Two floundering souls collide and pure magic ignites! With the fourth book in her addictive Demon Squad MC series, Monique Moreau delights in a totally different way in STANTON’S SINS! Prior books in the series centered a lot around club interaction, and while there’s some of that in this book, it’s more centered around healing after addiction, overcoming past deeds and picking up the pieces after being left behind. It’s super sexy, sassy as all get out and filled with absolute heart. Loving this series!

Sammi is a doll. She’s floundering a bit when her big brother Puck gets himself arrested, but knows she has the club as family to back her up. A little side deal with the sexy prosecutor on the case can’t hurt either … but she gets more than she ever bargained for!

Stanton is pure sex appeal. He’s hot, he’s rich and he’s just broken enough to need the comfort of the right woman at his side. I enjoyed getting to know him and watching him redeem himself for the things he’s done in the past to become a better man.

I highly recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who loves an MC romance filled with steaming hot sex, alpha males who like to have their women attached to their side and who also enjoy a bit of intrigue and drama mixed into each story.

Welcome to Kissing Creek, where everything has a romance-themed pun for a name and love is lurking around every corner...

Audrey Miller doesn’t believe in happily-ever-after, so she is definitely living in the wrong town. But she’s never getting out of Kissing Creek, because playing pseudo-mom for her younger siblings doesn’t leave time for much else. She’ll do anything to make sure they don’t end up stuck like she is, working as a barista in a college town, serving Pink Passion mochas with Chocolate Smooch donuts.

Then Ronan Walsh, a new young professor and walking cliché, right down to the elbow patches on his blazer, steps in for a coffee and into her life. She knows his type—intelligent and charming, yet sweet as a cinnamon roll, the sort of man she’s inevitably attracted to but is always out of her league. So why does someone like him have any interest in a worker bee with no future?

Her bland-as-oatmeal existence has nothing to offer, but Ronan’s temporary teaching position is only a stepping stone on his way to somewhere else. He isn’t here to put down roots, Audrey’s roots are firmly planted—neither of them is looking for love. And maybe that’s just perfect.

But in a small town called Kissing Creek, sometimes love can be impossible to avoid...

An adorably funny yet deeply emotional romantic tale! With the first book in her quirky small town series Kissing Creek, Stefanie London takes her reader quickly into the heart of the story of a barista who is raising her younger siblings. The story line is fairly fast paced with a lot of heart throughout. I am looking forward to more in the series!

Audrey has the weight of the world on her shoulders, but she’s a delightful person full of hopes and dreams. I enjoyed her so much!

Ronan is dreamy. He’s a sweetheart who sees the wonderful person that Audrey is, but he’s got his heart set on not getting attached.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a quaint little town filled with quirky tidbits and a close-knit community along with a sweet happily ever after.

All he ever wanted was to matter to someone.

What he didn’t know was that he did matter to someone.

Someone that worried about him every single day that he was gone.

***

Malachi Gabriel Gnocchi was missing for two years. Thanks to a mission gone wrong, not only had he been captured, but his best friend along with his fellow teammates had been taken, too.

He spent two years in hell, hoping and praying that one day he’d get to go home.

And one day he does. Only, he isn’t the same person that left. Every single thing that made him Malachi is no more.

***

Sierra started writing to soldiers overseas through the soldier pen pal program when she was in high school. Years later, she had no idea that the one soldier that she’d been paired up with in the very beginning would be the one man that would change her world eight years down the road.

When the letters from her soldier stopped, she knew that something bad had happened.

When they started back up again two years after the last letter, she thought that someone was playing a joke on her.
Only, that joke wasn’t a joke at all.

The man on the other end of those letters is a man that’s dying slowly from the inside out.

He’s a living, breathing, mess and there’s only one thing she can do to help him.

Write him back and hope that she can bring him back from the edge.

The epitome of meant to be! With book eleven in her amazing KPD SWAT Generation 2.0 series, Lani Lynn Vale brings destiny to life and makes a reader’s heart swoon with NOBODY KNOWS. The characters were amazing and the back story and reunion brings on all the feels. I loved it!

Malachi is a special guy. Even after all of the ugliness he had to endured while being captured and held for years, he’s got so much goodness in his heart. I adored him and loved seeing him get a happy future.

Sierra is a sweetheart and watching them figure out their connection was a lot of fun. The twist of intrigue surrounding her brought a lot of life to the story line as well.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys a close knit group of friends and family revolving around a cop camaraderie, and finding love connections to last a lifetime.

Just as she’ll never know her father is blackmailing Cain to tie the knot, too. What kind of marriage can Devon even expect from a man with such cold eyes…and such hot kisses? She’s about to find out.

Hatred and lust collide to bring us this delicious opposites attract romance from Naima Simone. In VOWS IN NAME ONLY each party is being blackmailed to marry, but neither knows that is the case for the other. Strong characters and an entrenching plot carry this fast paced story to a satisfying conclusion.

Devon was a bit wishy washy for me. She was kindhearted and accomplished in helping the youth, but I found it hard to stomach that she walked away from family so easily to please her father.

Cain was a delight. I’m especially looking forward to continuing the storyline with his family.
