Temptation at it’s best! Joanne Rock is bringing on the heat with the first book in her new Brooklyn Nights series and I highly enjoyed it. A NINE-MONTH TEMPTATION is a quasi workplace romance with a one night turning into forever twist. A surprise baby is a favorite trope of mine and Rock does it beautifully. I’m looking forward to more to come in the series!
Sable is self-assured and down to earth, so seeing her finally start to see her dreams of a fashion career start to sparkle is a delight. A bit more development to her back story wouldn’t have hurt, but I dearly loved watching her finally get the life she deserved.
Roman is temptation personified. He’s smart and successful, but still has a soft, insecure side that few see. I loved the man he became with Sable by his side.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a bit of drama with their romance. I’m looking forward to the fun this series holds in store.
