Isolated in the deep Adirondack wilderness…

Their mission—escape!

When Detective Dalton Stevens follows his estranged wife, Erin, to the Adirondack Mountains, neither of them expects to be entrusted with intel that must be shared with Homeland Security. They are forced to begin a harrowing wilderness trek to outrun the terrorists who’ll kill for the secret. Dalton’s real objective—to reconcile with headstrong Erin—happens by chance…when one bullet changes everything.

Edge of your seat suspense! Adirondack Attack is the second book in Jenna Kernan’s Protectors at Heart series and is an action packed second-chance at love story. The suspense heats up quickly and doesn’t stop!

Dalton grabbed my attention from the start because he truly seems like he loves his estranged wife and was clueless that she was at the end of her rope.

Erin seems tough at first because we come into their relationship after all of the turmoil has occurred, but as the story unfolds, we realize what drove her to say she was done.

This book and the one prior took place in the great outdoors, showcasing national parks and gorgeous sites. It was fast pace, full of intrigue and satisfying. I’m looking forward to more in the series!
