This co-workers to lovers story makes for a delightful read with a fast paced plot! With the next book in the Fortune’s of Texas: The Rulebreakers series, we get Maddie’s story. She’s a real go-getter and thought she had her life’s dream at her fingertips when suddenly she realizes she’s in for a fight. You had to feel bad with how her Dad handled it all, but it was fun to watch her relationship with Zach develop along the way. I would have liked to have seen a bit more of Zach’s life included, but overall, a fun read!
