The direness of Evelyn’s situation quickly had my attention from the very start of the book and I was quickly hooked by her plight. One Lucas came on the scene and showed her such a gentle kindness, I was deeply entrenched in seeing their happily ever after unfold. I can’t wait for more in the series!
I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a romantic suspense story with powerful backstories taking center stage. This refuge is staffed by a close knit group of guys who are there to help others like themselves be able to cope with life again after tragedy.
