For those that read the author’s Love in Boston series, you’ll recognize the Murphy family that is the centerpiece of this series. The plot is intriguing and the characters captivating.
Sadie catches a reader’s eye immediately because we hear of her brush with death and quickly watch her connect with the man who didn’t leave her side during her terror. One night of passion is supposed to get him out of her system, but the baby they discover is on the way a few weeks later isn’t going to be easy to overlook!
Carrick is a really interesting character. He’s got a reputation of ruthlessness, but he’s only showing a genuinely good heart every time he interacts with Sadie. I enjoyed him a lot.
I highly recommend this book and am looking forward for more to come from the Murphy family!
