A misunderstanding tore them apart.

Now he’s her only chance…

Blackhawk Security’s Elizabeth Dawson believes ex-government programmer Braxton Levitt betrayed her, but now he’s the only one who can keep her safe. A killer steps ahead of them is methodically hunting the pregnant analyst to access her top-level software program. But as Braxton and Liz race to stop him, their broken trust—and most intimate secrets—could end more than their lives…

RULES IN DECEIT is book three in Nichole Severn’s attention grabbing Blackhawk Security series and centers around former NSA teammates who reconnect amid secrets and scandals in this reunion story.

Elizabeth is a strong female lead who stands tough even when faced with the man who she believes betrayed her and just so happens to be the unknowing father of her baby-to-be.

Braxton is quick to catch a reader’s attention because he seems like such an upstanding guy even though he’s being accused of bad things. It doesn’t take us long to realize he’s there to help her … and maybe things aren’t exactly like they’ve been portrayed.

I highly recommend this story to all intrigue fans. It’s fast paced, action packed and very satisfying. You can’t go wrong with any of the books in the series so far, and I’m looking forward to more to come.
