Keeping secrets can shatter hearts…

Against her better judgement, Carrie Rodgers pretends she’s her twin sister while being escorted to a children’s hospital gala by Rick Marshall, an up and coming real estate developer in Atlanta. What she didn’t count as her sister’s substitute is a night of passion.

Rick doesn’t tolerate liars but he’s willing to imply his and Carrie’s relationship is more than it is to close a career defining deal. Having the right woman on his arm could tip the scales in his favor, but he’s not prepared for his heart getting caught in the balance as well.

A great sexy and sweet novella from the Magnolias and Moonshine series! It’s fast paced, easy to follow and enjoy … the characters are down to earth and easy to like. Really enjoyed Rick and Carrie’s story!

Teacher Carrie Rodgers begrudgingly agrees to secretly switch places with her twin sister Cathie to go out on a date with real estate developer Rick Marshall. There is absolutely no malice intended, she just finds it impossible to say no to her sister when she selfishly wants to do her own thing instead of keeping a commitment she made to accompany Rick to a charity event.

Rick didn’t think he was going to enjoy his date with Cathie all that much, but the woman he picks up seems different. More genuine, fresh and subtle. The date turns into an exciting time, ending up in what is just supposed to be one night together, but turns into a weekend of fun. When the truth comes to light, will Rick be able to forgive the deceit that he abhors so much in order to be with the woman who has taken his breath away?
