Will bitter enemies make better bedfellows for the Boone Brothers?

She’s about to find out.

Only the worthiest of causes could woo Drea MacDonald back to Boone Springs to work with the Mason Boone. The sexy Texan had stolen her schoolgirl heart, and his family had stolen her legacy. But soon resisting the temptation to invite Mason into her bed becomes impossible. How long before he climbs back into her soul, too?

Delightfully addicting story of two lost souls reconnecting! Charlene Sands is kicking off her brand new Boone Brothers of Texas series with Mason & Drea’s story. He broke her teenage heart but she’s determined not to let him do it again! I was quickly drawn into the chemistry and past drama from this couple, along with the family dynamics working behind the scenes. It was a fast and enjoyable read with a well laid foundation for the future books in the series. I’m looking forward to enjoying more of the Boone Brothers!

Andrea MacDonald isn’t exactly excited about coming home to Boone Springs, Texas, but a charity event near and dear to her heart is just the thing to have her stepping foot into her hometown after so many years away. Bitter resentments, estranged relationships and a hectic lifestyle back in New York keep her from pining for her roots all that much, but she’s going to have to buckle down and get the job done while she’s in town … no matter who she has to work with!

Seeing Drea again is like a breath of fresh air for Mason Boone. He knows she doesn’t much care for his family anymore, but he remembers the good old days when they were friends and bordering on more before he got his head straight and made sure he didn’t take advantage of her young heart. He’s healing from loss and not exactly a free spirit himself anymore, but spending time with a blast from the past might be just what he needs to live a little again.
