McKenna Prescott is the queen of picking the wrong men. When her latest boyfriend dumps her, she decides to devote her time to “exploring herself” (read: drinking wine and ordering sex toys online) and starting her freelance makeup business. That is, until an embarrassing delivery mix-up puts her sexy, gruff neighbor in her path...

Beckett Walsh is married to his job...which is a deal-breaker for the woman he’s supposed to be marrying. Even worse, his would-be father-in-law has pulled support from Beckett's startup and now Beckett stands to lose everything. But the gorgeous, crazy makeup artist from down the hall has an equally crazy but mutually beneficial idea: if he convinces his sister to hire McKenna for her high-society wedding, McKenna will teach him about what women want so he can get his fiancée back.

All he has to do is make sure he doesn’t fall for the wrong girl.

A delightfully fun jaunt into love! Fast paced and full of sass, this story made me smile and laugh out loud more than once. McKenna is quite the character! Beckett is a bit surly at first, but no one can stay distant when they are around this firecracker!

McKenna Prescott is fed up with men, and she’s decided to take some time out to love herself more … starting with lots of wine and a sex-toy shopping spree! When an embarrassing delivery mix-up has her knocking on her sexy neighbor’s door, she’s not sure this new lifestyle is starting out all that well!

Beckett Walsh is typically the gruff, serious guy down the hall … but when she finds out he has a connection she could use to give her make-up business a jump-start, she comes up with a win-win situation for the both of them!  He’ll put in a good word for her with his sister who’s planning her high society wedding and in need of a make-up artist … and in return, she’ll help him figure out how to win back his fiancee before the business deal her father was financing goes belly up.  Easy peasy right? Well … maybe if they hadn’t started being attracted to each other!
