He never stayed put…

…until she gave him a reason to

Rebel cowboy Hadley Smith had never been one to stick around. Then he suddenly became a single father—to twins. Hadley doesn’t need Jenna Moran looking over his shoulder, but he grudgingly starts to fall for her compassion and strength. When faced with an impossible choice, can Hadley prove to Jenna he’s willing to put down roots?

An unexpected holiday romance! TWINS UNDER THE TREE is the sixth book in Leigh Riker’s Kansas Cowboys series and brings us the story of a newly crowned father and the woman bent on making sure he’s doing a good job of it in a twist on an enemies to lovers story.

Hadley muddling his way through his introduction to single parenting was quick to catch my attention. As a reader we’re often looking for perfection, and while he’s far from it when he first starts his journey, he really has a warm heart beneath all of his gruff ways. It was a pleasure to watch him grow as a father and to see how much his kids brought to his life.

Jenna stumbled into her very own ready-made family … and while she wasn’t so sure she wanted it at first, the attraction was a strong draw.

I recommend this story to anyone who enjoys a heartwarming holiday romance filled with family reconnecting and happily ever afters. The entire series has been really touching.
