A washed-out painter battling to forget her past.
A profiler who needs all the help he can get.
To get to know the artist, they'll have to face a killer's deadly work...or become the main attraction.

Hiding inside the walls of a mental institution was supposed to distance her from the real world, but it seems Becks Gentry can’t leave her old life behind. A malicious killer drove her to give up everything she loved. Now he’s back and using her paintings as inspiration for his own showcase. Only this time, Becks isn’t going to run, and she’s not alone.

BAU agent Raider King has studied Becks for two years after learning of the killer’s attachment to her and her work. His research can prevent countless deaths once published, but as they uncover more of the artist’s masterpieces and the victims exsanguinated to create them, Raider discovers his own attachment to Becks. Putting everything they’ve worked for at risk.

Their worst nightmare is back to finish what he started. And nothing will ever be the same.

Pulse pounding intensity! My favorite in the Hunting Ground series by far! Non-stop intrigue with a strong twist of emotion, turmoil and heart. The plot is quick to hook you and the characters are eloquent enough in their attraction to keep you turning page after page. I really enjoyed Becks and Raider and the intensity of their story. I’m looking forward to the next book to come from the groundwork laid at the end of this one. Highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone that enjoys an exciting dive into the heart of an investigation that showcases the demented paces some will go through.

He’s a rock star wanted by millions.
She’s a wife willing to fight for their love.

Rock star Dash Kingston is finishing the last leg of his band’s U.S. tour. Exhausted and ready to be home, he can’t wait to see his girl. Time zones, show times, and the demands of his career have made married life harder than expected. Even knowing the rock star life wouldn’t make their relationship easy.

Cassidy Kingston thought she was ready to handle being married to a man idolized by women everywhere. She believes in their love even though the separations when the band is on tour can be torture. But the paparazzi and media don’t make their time apart easier and the gossip headlines hit her harder than they should. She trusts her husband even if she misses him like crazy.

When rumors surface that Dash is seeing someone, what’s a girl to do? Surprise her husband and remind him of what he’s been missing. Except you know what they say about the best laid plans.

Stands alone but if you want to read Dash and Cassidy’s full story:
Just One Spark

Short, but a sweet reconnection! I enjoyed getting to see a snippet of what Dash Kingston and his wife Cassidy are up to these days in this short novella. The storyline was down to earth and the characters never disappoint. If you read their full story (Just One Spark) you will be overjoyed with this dip into their lives … if you didn’t read the first one, you won’t get as much out of it. I highly recommend you go grab Just One Spark first and then dive into this sweet update.

Etienne LaFayette hits the ground running the moment he breathes free air after being paroled from a maximum-security prison in Texas.

He claws his life back from his brother-in-law who’d taken over his business during the years he’d spent as an inmate at Huntsville Penitentiary. Though it is hard, he puts his life back together in Accident, Florida.

There, he hires new employees, joins a motorcycle club, and becomes wildly successful overnight.

Seems like the perfect life, right?

Wrong.

Because one of his first clients is a beautiful, curly-haired woman that reels him in from the moment he first lays eyes on her. Only, before he can work his charm, she forms an opinion of him based solely on the person that he chose to work at his side, day in and day out. That opinion? Utter disgust.

***

Matilda Deveraux has been dealt blow after blow her entire life.

First with the death of her mom. Then living with a stepfamily that despises her.

Her entire life she’s been known as different. The “weird girl that creeps everyone out.”

It’s not her fault that she’s different, yet everyone, including Etienne’s assistant, treats her like she’s a menace to society.
Like she would be better off in a loony bin than gracing the streets of Accident, Florida.

After years of abuse from everyone around her, the last thing she needs is to be around a man that would have that horrible woman around him twenty-four seven.

As a result, she forms an opinion—something that people do to her all the time—and treats him accordingly.
Only, it turns out that Etienne isn’t who she thought he was.

He’s much, much worse. But only in the best of ways.

Vale shines when building a cast of tough but oh so loveable guys! The third book in the Gator Bait MC series brings us Etienne’s story when he meets his match in Matilda. The characters are intense and a lot of fun, the plot is thick with tension, angst and steamy goodness. I loved their story and look forward to more to come in the series!

Etienne is fierce and loyal and I loved every minute of him. Watching him fall hard and fast for “the one” was breathtaking.

Matilda is such a great character. She’s heartfelt and direct and she loves hard when she has a loyal person in her life. She’s been mistreated so much, so it’s really rewarding to see those that have done her wrong get what’s coming to them.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone that loves to see a great redemption story for an MC guy that has been imprisoned and starts his life anew while bonding with a new group of brothers that will have his back through thick and thin.

Sometimes you gotta toss your whole life into a burning dumpster to find what’s most important...

Beatrice Archer has always done everything she’s supposed to —worked her ass off, ignored her non-existent personal life, and kept her mouth shut. Now she’s over it. The rat race, respectability…the underwire bras. She’s taking her life back. Starting with moving to Nowhere, Colorado to live life on her own terms.

Now Bea gives exactly zero forks. Beer for breakfast. Sugar for everything else. Baggy sweats and soft cotton undies FTW. Then a much younger and delightfully attractive cop is called to deal with her flagrant disregard for appropriate clothing outside the local diner (some folks just don’t appreciate bunny slippers) and Bea realizes there’s something missing from her little decathlon of decadence…and he might be the guy to help her out.

When it comes to breaking rules, Officer Austin Cooper is surprisingly eager to assist. He’s charming, a little bit cowboy, and a whole lot sexy. But Bea’s about to discover that breaking the rules has consequences. And all of the cherry pies in Colorado can’t save her from what’s coming…

Highly addictive and laugh-out-loud sexy goodness! Amy Andrews is pulling out all of the stops when her signature snark is fully exposed and creating unforgettable cringe-worthy moments to entertain even the most serious romance fan. I loved every minute of Bea and Austin … I only wished for a tad bit more of them living life delightfully together to strengthen the ending a little.

Beatrice is hilarious and she doesn’t even mean to be! She’s disgusted with the rat race of putting her all into a job for years and being screwed over time and again, so she walks away and let’s it all hang out for a change. I loved her!

Austin is adorable and sexy as all get out and his ability to let everything Bea has to offer delight him no matter how outrageous she is just really made me smile. What a guy!

I highly recommend this book to anyone that enjoys a laugh with their steamy romance. Such a joy!

Kir “Master” Vasiliev doesn’t care whether he lives or dies. He’s a burnt-out shell with no one and nothing but his club. Whatever Torpedo Ink needs, Master will put himself in harm’s way time after time. If he doesn’t make it back, he’s certain everyone will move on just fine.

Investment banker Ambrielle Moore knows her own mind, and she’s not willing to settle for anyone. So when a second-rate gangster and his thugs try to coerce her into marriage—and giving up all of her family’s money—she’s having none of it. Until they turn to cold-blooded murder.

Grieving and enraged, Ambrie is ready to go scorched earth on her captors when Master shows up anticipating a damsel in distress. But Ambrie is nothing like he expected, and everything he never knew he desired....

By far one of the best in the series! Christine Feehan’s Torpedo Ink series is raw and addictive and filled with passion, vigilantism and more heart than you’ll know what to do with. The eighth book in the series revolves around Master meeting his match and the outpouring of emotions as his story lights up the pages. I really enjoyed his story and the passion his true love brings to his life.

Ambrielle has her world torn apart right before her eyes and the strength she shows in the aftermath showed the powerful character she was going to be right from the start. I enjoyed her very much and loved the depth she brought out in Kir.

Kir AKA Master has poured his heart into his club throughout the years, but he’s exhausted and burnt out and really doesn’t have anything left to give. Meeting Ambrie changes that.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone that enjoys a touch of a motorcycle club that truly is a family of special powered individuals who fight crime and injustice as each member finds their forever love and finds a way to carve a space for them in their world.

“Find out for yourself if I’m as bad as everyone says.”

When infamous bull rider Gavin Kingsley finds out he’s been disinherited, he wants answers—and Lauryn Hamilton, his father’s former employee and the local sheriff’s daughter, may have them. Participating in a charity bachelor auction for Lauryn’s horse rescue is the perfect opportunity for Gavin to find what he’s looking for…even if he has to seduce the truth out of her. When bad boy Gavin unlocks sweet Lauryn’s rebellious side, he may be roped into more than he bargained for.

This electrifying kickoff to a brand new series from Joanne Rock is sure to please! The drama is high, the emotion is off the charts and the sweet and steamy love connection is exciting enough to keep you coming back for more. I can’t wait to see where the series goes from here!

Gavin is so easy to sympathize with and like. I adored him from the start and loved him even more by the end of his story.

Lauryn is a sweetheart and I really enjoyed watching her champion Gavin as the kindhearted guy that he is.

I really liked the start of his new series and recommend it to anyone that enjoys a cowboy romance with lots of heart, sincere sass and lots of steamy goodness!

His forbidden touch…
…is what the innocent wants!

Drake Cawthorn is speechless when Aerin Drysdale begs him to accompany her to a glamorous event in Scotland. Aerin is his best friend’s sister and looking for the type of love Drake doesn’t believe exists, so she’s strictly off-limits! But he doesn’t want anybody else coming to her rescue!

Aerin knows cynical playboy Drake can’t be her Mr. Right. But she can’t ignore how he sets her pulse racing. And when a snowstorm leaves them stranded, the balance is finally tipped. Aerin’s next request? A sexual awakening for as long as the snow lasts…

I loved this conclusion to the Weddings Worth Billions trilogy! Melanie Milburne was quick to hook me with Aerin’s plight when it’s her turn to take front and center in the series. I really enjoyed the romance Drake brought into her life and their story brought much enjoyment.

Aerin is sweet and sincere and her need of a date to accompany her to a school reunion is an ideal set up to unite her into a brother’s best friend storyline.

Drake might have the reputation of a playboy, but he purposely keeps life at arms length and doesn’t plan to change anytime soon. Aerin quickly changes that with her innocent, yet indulgent heart.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone that enjoys a group of friends and business partners who adore each other and support one another through falling for their forever loves.

Proving himself

Means saving her life

An ex-con, PI Jason Sutton has ignored his attraction to Kyla Bertrand for years, not wanting his past to drag down the up-and-coming attorney. But his missing person’s case and her investigation into a friend’s murder have connections that require joining forces. As they’re lured deep into a shadowy underworld, proving himself means not only unraveling dangerous mysteries, but keeping Kyla alive.

I was hooked from start to finish! Anna J. Stewart keeps bringing on the mystery in her Honor Bound series with the Harlequin Romantic Suspense line and I’m loving every minute of it. The characters are easy to like, their connection is strong, yet the peril they run into around every corner isn’t overshadowed by the romance. Really enjoyed Jason and Kyla!

Kyla is accomplished and grateful for the success she has lucked into, but she doesn’t hesitate to put it all on the line when it comes to solving her friend’s case … because she’s convinced her OD wasn’t simply that.

Jason is working hard to overcome the stigma his teens years put onto his life forever more, and he’s a sincere, kindhearted character.

I highly recommend this book and the entire series to anyone that enjoys a bit of romance with a solid storyline surrounded in intrigue.
