She thinks love is just a system error. He is here to prove that hot hockey players are the anomaly to her hypothesis.

I’ve built a life I’m proud of - my own successful business, a beautiful condo, amazing friends, and a spoiled dog named Betty who takes up an entire king-sized bed! My life is exactly the way I want it. I know from experience that I need to keep relationships at a distance. A little fun? Fine. Commitment? Absolutely not.

Then I meet Jayden Wood in the park after our dogs nearly tangle their leashes together. He’s charming and way too attractive for my peace of mind. As a pro hockey player stuck on a struggling team, Jayden already has enough chaos in his life. But then our paths keep crossing. At the coffee shop. In the park. Around the city. Jayden calls it fate.

I swear he’s impossible to get rid of. Now the man who thrives on competition has decided I’m his next challenge—and he’s determined to prove I’m not as hard to get as I pretend to be.

A brand new hockey franchise from Kelly Jamieson to sink your teeth into! I am always there for another hockey romance, and Jamieson has brought us some great teams in the past. There’s trouble in paradise with the Vancouver Orcas, but there’s potential to be had and I see good things that can come in the future. I loved Jayden and his four legged bud Frank. He’s really sincere and down to earth and an overall good guy. Stella … meh … she just didn’t do it for me at all. She was too hands off and uptight and not there to realize the good guy she lucked into having right in front of her begging for her love. I can do without the feminist, no man needed BS in romance in all honesty. Give me a solid romance with attraction, kindness and love any day of the week. I’ll be there to see what happens with the team in the next book, but I’m hoping for a better heroine next time.

What happens in Vegas sometimes follows you forever.

Amelia Gallo wasn’t known for being wild. She spends her days working in her family’s bakery and her nights catching up on sleep. Average should’ve been her middle name. But when her friends drag her to a girl’s weekend in Vegas everything spirals out of control.

After a drunken game of truth or dare, Amelia wakes up with a hangover and a wedding ring on her finger. But Amelia has no memories of the ceremony and neither does the hunky, shirtless cowboy laying next to her.

Reed Anderson’s a country man who works too much. He’s too busy on his family’s ranch to have much time for anything else, including fun or dating. But when his friends drag him to a guy’s weekend in Vegas, his entire world shifts. Reed married a stranger and has zero memories of the entire thing.

A quickie marriage can be solved with a quickie divorce. Problem solved. But when he goes to Chicago to hand deliver the paperwork to the city girl who’s now his wife, he finds out she has an even bigger surprise for him.

And what starts out as an ending turns into ‘my wife’ in an instant.

A drunken wedding in Vegas between a Gallo and a cowboy? Yes please! Amelia Gallo has done it this time when she comes home to Chicago from a girl’s trip in Vegas with a secret husband in South Dakota. The plot is cliche, but super cute and Reed’s devotion to her once he realizes how he really feels is really sweet and heartfelt. I loved every minute of their story. Lots of chemistry, laughter and family camaraderie along the way to their happily ever after.

I loved Reed so hard! Who wouldn’t want a supportive, protective, all around good guy like him chasing you across the country? He’s a sweetheart … and sexy to boot.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys a loud, overly close family who always rallies around through ups and downs even when their interference is NOT needed as each child, sibling, cousin finds their one … and they do it with love!

One reckless night was supposed to be forgettable.
Instead, it changed everything.

I wasn’t looking for trouble when I met Jack Dare in a Charleston bar.

But one look at the devastatingly handsome stranger and suddenly I wanted things I’d spent years denying myself.

Freedom.
Desire.
Him.

So for one night, I stopped being careful.

One drink turned into stolen kisses.
One kiss turned into a night I still can’t forget.
And by morning, I disappeared before Jack could learn the truth about me.

Because men like him don’t survive people like my ex-boyfriend.

Powerful. Ruthless. Obsessed with control.
The kind of man who doesn’t let go once he decides you belong to him.

I thought leaving was the only way to protect Jack.

Until two pink lines changed everything.

Now I’m standing outside his Miami doorstep pregnant, terrified, and running out of options.

But the man who opens the door isn’t shocked.
He’s furious someone made me afraid to come to him.

Jack Dare is protective, relentless, and impossible to walk away from.
The kind of man who would burn the world down for the people he loves.

And the more danger closes in around us, the harder it becomes to remember this was never supposed to be forever.

Because Jack isn’t letting me run again.

And for the first time in my life…
I don’t want to.

Fast paced and delicious in all the best ways! With the next book in her Dare to Fall Series, Carly Phillips is delighting her fans once again with a yummy Dare offspring as Jack meets his match with a quick hookup that blows him off when he wants to see her again.

Taylor is very endearing and had me rooting for her to get with Jack and rid of her ex early on. I especially loved their surprise baby story and them both being willing to uproot their lives for the other. The characters as a whole were great, the storyline was well developed and the emotion and depth of their story was spot on. Love every minute!

I highly recommend this book as well as the rest of the series to anyone who enjoys a successful couple who have their life on the upswing career wise usually, but love has alluded them until just the right person happens across their realm and zaps them hard. Love the Dares!
