When she’s not listening to the voices in her head (and even when she is), she enjoys traveling, long-distance running, movie-watching, knitting and adventure (obstacle) racing. Janie completed an Ironman Triathlon in 2014 and is prepping for another one in 2017.

My favorite color is … teal. But a dark one! Not turquoise or aqua.

My favorite place to read is … in a large bath tub with a blow up pillow for my head.

My favorite snack is … definitely salty, not sweet. I love cheese, chips, and popcorn of all kinds.

My favorite type of music is … very difficult to answer! I like all sorts of music depending on what I’m doing. But I have to admit I love musical theatre show tunes quite a bit!

My favorite hot beverage is … coffee. Always. Lots of cream, lots of sugar.

My favorite type of flower is … stargazer lilies. I had them at my wedding.

My favorite time of day is … early morning after a good night’s sleep. I’ve got the whole day ahead of me!

My favorite candy is … butterscotch.

My favorite hobby is … running. I love to run.

My favorite place to vacation is … anywhere new that I haven’t been. I love traveling to new cities and countries.
