It all started with a sexy selfie.

Texted to the wrong number.

Oops.

Not my finest moment—but I have nothing to be ashamed of.

She thought I was no better, and I quote, than the knuckle-dragging douche-bags she was never dating again.

It was a stupid dare from a girl I’d met online, but since she’d given me a fake number, I didn’t feel bad that my interests were suddenly focused elsewhere—on the fiery and sharp-tongued, Peyton that I found myself sparring with over text for the rest of the evening.

The following day, my case of mistaken identity came back to bite me in the banana.

When I strolled into the office, I was introduced to Peyton as the new client I needed to win over. The Peyton , in case you're not tracking.

And let’s just say she had my full attention.

Brains? Check.

Beauty? Oh yeah.

And the best part? She hated me on sight.

Dear God, do I love a challenge.

Let the games begin.

A humorous mistaken identity! With her typical charm, Kendall Ryan brings us a fast paced read about a mix-up that turns interesting pretty quickly. I felt like there could have been a bit more banter between the two, especially when the chat was happening, but overall it was a fun read and I enjoyed it!

Businessman Josh Hanson has worked hard to achieve all that he has, but he enjoys his downtime just as much … what there is of it. When a woman he’s been chatting with on a dating app asks for an advanced look at the merchandise, he proudly shows off the goods … but the response he receives is unexpected!

Peyton Richards can’t believe some dude would just arbitrarily text her like that, but what she’s even more shocked over is when she recognizes the guy the next day at a big business meeting about launching her product with theirs! This is going to be interesting.

In Gold Valley, Oregon, forbidden love just might be the sweetest…

Dane Parker traded in his trailer-park roots for glory as a bull rider. But when a serious injury sidelines him for months, it’s the first time he can’t just pull himself up by his bootstraps. The last thing he wants to deal with is sweet family friend Bea treating him like one of her wounded animals—or the unexpected attraction that suddenly flares between them.

Beatrix Leighton has loved Dane for years, while he’s always seen her as another sister. When she enlists his help to start her animal sanctuary, she thinks it will give him purpose. Instead, it brings all the desire she feels for him to the boiling point. Bea’s father taught her early on that love means loss. But could her forbidden crush turn into a love that will last a lifetime?

Unrequited love finally pays off! Dane has had his head buried in the sand for years where Bea is concerned, but she finally gets his attention … attraction, drama and chaos ensues! I always love a return trip to Gold Valley where the characters are always filled with goodness, and this one was especially sweet!

When a major injury sends bull rider Dane Parker home to Gold Valley, Oregon to recuperate for months on end, he’s ready to pull his hair out. He lives for the adrenaline that danger and excitement brings, so to be laid up barely able to leave the house is driving him insane. When family friend Bea needs a helping hand, he jumps at the chance to have something to do … even if it is for the little busybody who has been nagging him non-stop!

Beatrix Leighton has been in love with Dane for like forever, but he’s too blind to see it. To him, she’s an additional sister that he can pester but who’s always there offering help if he needs it. She’d give anything for him to see her differently, but her family has taught her that love isn’t all it’s cracked up to be anyway, so maybe she’s not missing out on much.

The line between love and hate isn’t always thin…

Professional hockey team owner Gage Caldwell has it all: Money, friends, and a career some would kill for. But everything means nothing if you don’t have someone to share it with. The one thing missing is Laurel, the ex-wife he never stopped loving. Too bad she hates him.

Hockey coach Laurel Saunders will never forgive her ex-husband for not being there when she needed him most, but that doesn’t mean she stopped loving him. Desperate to let go of the past, she’s thrown herself into coaching women’s hockey and made a new life for herself. A life without Gage.

Sparks fly and history repeats itself, when they find themselves thrown together. This second chance might be their last, and Gage is determined to do whatever it takes to prove to Laurel this time will be different. Can he find a way to win her back or will she always be the one who got away?

Quick paced, tempting and raw! With the next book in the Alaska Blizzard series, Kat Mizera brings us the beauty of a reunion story. The characters are very easy to like, the back story is intriguing and the sports drama is a lot of fun to read. Really enjoyed!

As the wealthy owner of a professional hockey team, Gage Caldwell has the perks of a prominent life at his fingertips, but there’s constantly something missing … and that something is the woman he never stopped loving, his ex-wife.

Laurel Saunders might not have wound up the places she thought she’d be at this point in her life, but thanks to the unwanted generosity of her ex-husband she finds that she can pick and choose her coaching positions in order to take on the projects she most wants. When Gage shocks her with an offer she can’t refuse, she finds herself co-existing with the man who never left her heart. A part of her hates him and the fallout from the lies that he told, but another part of her could never stop loving him.

One impassioned argument.

One dominating kiss.

One unexpected moment that turns everything upside down.

And that’s only the opening act.

Rockstar Braxton Hunte is the type of chaos that makes your soul burn…

Brax has been on tour for a decade, and some may say he swallows obstacles for fun. Well, maybe he does—he’s never encountered a riff he couldn’t handle, a treasure he couldn’t score, or a woman he couldn’t conquer. No one, especially not a buttoned-down rule-follower like the band’s new tour accountant, is going to change him.

Accountant Sara Anderson is an unabashed stickler for the rules…

Sara’s worked nine long years to make partner, and only one thing stands between her and her goal—Hunte. Now she’s going on their tour to whip the band into financial shape. So long as she gets them out of the red, the promotion will be hers. Those bad boys of rock will be tamed, no matter how yummy their lead singer is.

When rebellion confronts discipline, fireworks explode.

Passions collide, and lives are permanently altered, in this enemies-to-lovers, slow burn standalone romance set in the mid-1990s—when grunge ruled the airwaves and women partners were as uncommon as those new mobile phones.

Exhilarating! Personalities clash and tempers flair when pandemonium meets restriction … but the dislike is only going to be able to hold out for so long once sexual chemistry starts to flair! Great characters, a compelling story line and lots of steam. Looking forward to more from the family.

It’s the 90’s, and rockstar Braxton Hunte refuses to believe he and the guys might just be on a downward spiral. Yeah, they might not be filling up stadiums like they used to and they haven’t had a #1 hit in quite some time, but they still have the fans screaming for more on a nightly basis … not to mention the ladies!

Accountant Sara Anderson happens to love Hunte’s music, but she’s less than thrilled when she finds out the client that has been the bane of so many before her’s existence is now her problem to deal with. She’s on the cusp of the promotion she’s been working almost a decade for and it’s going to be sewn up in no time … well, as soon as she gets this band out of the red for a change!
