Ella Riding is kind, naive and caring. She has no clue who Roman is or what he has planned when she innocently falls in love and marries him. She soon finds out what kind of man she has at her side and has to decide whether the person she knew beforehand is even real.

I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a twist on a modern day fairy tale and watching a relationship built on lies reawaken into more as healing begins.

I already liked Scarlett from the first book in the duet when she was friends with Kiara, so seeing her story come to life was a pleasure. She chose not to tell Javiero she was pregnant, so it’s now time for her to answer up to her sins.

I also felt like I already knew some of Javiero’s story from the previous book too, but he seemed softer and more approachable than I was expecting. The jaguar attack and marring of his perfection seemed a distraction to me and I could have lived without it for sure, but his story overall was quite interesting.

I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a redeeming story. They both had things to answer for, but watching them fall into their love and family was fulfilling.

I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a spiritual romance mixed with endless suspense. They weathered several unexpected twists on their journey to happily ever after.

August Greenfield is intriguing. He’s seriously dedicated to his job, but equally enriched by his downtime. When a blast from the past reenters his life, he simply can’t believe it after all this time … and the secrets this one time love of his life spills are life changing.

Leighton Hale disappeared ten years ago without a trace and now that desperation has brought her to August’s doorstep, it’s time to share the burden of her secrets.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a sexually adventurous romance with a side of intrigue and danger. The characters were easy to connect with and their story was emotional and fulfilling.

I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a relationship of convenience in a love/hate relationship. Lots of passion, deceit and power play out in the story line.

We’ve seen them and heard bits about their situation in the first two books of the series, so it was nice to walk into their story and watch it unfold. Really enjoyed!

Annie Jamison captures a reader’s attention and sympathy quickly as we realize the depth of which she is going to have to go to in order to have the dreams she always wanted. To walk away is breaking her heart, but staying is too.

David Culhane McCall has his head buried in the sand a bit. He has endured major hardship and devastation and it made him close himself off from seeing what’s right in front of him. When Annie tells him she’s leaving, it finally opens his eyes … but will it be too late?

I highly recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who enjoys a hard-won love story mixed with lots of family connections and drama. I’ve enjoyed the entire series.

Declan had done countless harrowing things in his life. Relocated to an entirely different continent with little more than the clothes he’d been wearing. As if the lad can answer, scoffed a voice from somewhere inside his head. But anything was better than silence, and besides, Tess had spoken to the boy in much the same way when she’d kissed him goodbye. It couldn’t hurt for Declan to at least give it a go.

Jackson eyed him warily, clutching his brightly colored octopus to his chest. They were going to have to get comfortable enough with each other for Declan to pick the boy up fairly soon, but he didn’t want to rush things and fuck it all up by frightening him. Or worse yet, make him cry.

Okay. He needed to think of this like an op. Objective: lull the target into a sense of safety and security. Strategy: slow movements, distraction, earned trust. Reconnoiter at the baby’s crib by twenty-hundred with a calm and happy target, ready for bedtime.

Too much temptation to resist! With book four in her Brooklyn Bruisers series Sarina Bowen delights with a reunion no one saw coming! The characters have major chemistry and their connection is a joy to watch. Really enjoyed!

Bess Beringer is strong, capable and easy to like. She is at the top of her game as a sports agent to rich and famous hockey stars, but as she turns thirty, she’s feeling some emptiness in her personal life.

Mark “Tank” Tankiewicz is a doll of a character. He’s picking up the pieces of shattered dreams, moving on to a team he isn’t exactly meshing with yet and in walks the one woman he never forgot.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a sports romance with a lot of heart. I’m looking forward to more in the series.

Erin Nicholas may have just handed us her best hero yet! With book two of her much-loved Hot Cakes series she more than delights with Dax who had me smiling throughout the entire book. He’s sexy, he’s funny, and he’s just cocky enough to make it adorable. FORKING AROUND was a super fun read with laughter, steam and lots of heartfelt moments.

Jane Kemper is very easy to like. She is everybody’s go-to when something is going on in their life, and she takes pride in helping in any way she can … but she’s gotta admit, her plate is pretty much overflowing these days.

Dax Marshall is perfectly happy living an upbeat lifestyle with fun and no worries, but the moment he sets eyes on Jane, he’s floored. He immediately knows she’s going to be his … and it’s going to be a fun ride convincing her!

I highly recommend this story as well as the previous one in the series. This group of friends and business partners are hilarious and watching them fall for “the one” when she crosses their path is the bomb. Looking forward to more in the series!

And the he-doesn’t-live-here-and-isn’t-staying thing. And all the other crap she always had to deal with that made this impossible. But for another minute—or maybe ten—she didn’t want to think about any of that. And if he talked, that would be very difficult. He pulled in a breath, gave her a short nod that she interpreted as okay, no talking and she moved her hand. Which was the right choice, because he leaned in as he slid his hand up the side of her body, skimming over her hip, waist, the side of her breast, up and into her hair. Then he cupped the back of her head and lowered his mouth to hers again. This time he kissed her. And seriously, she’d give up strawberry pie for this. They made out like that for long, delicious minutes. When he finally took his mouth from hers, it was to slide it along her jawline, his beard causing goose bumps to trip down her arms and tighten her nipples. In her ear he said gruffly, “I have to talk now.” She laughed lightly. “I didn’t think it would last for even this long, really.” “Well, I do love using my mouth this way too.” He dragged his lips along the side of her neck. Her nipples got even tighter, begging for him to drag those lips down there. “But I can’t resist saying—” He lifted his head. “You are the most delicious thing I’ve ever tasted.” She grinned. “Well… same.” A very sexy kind of surprised but superhot look crossed his face. “What about pie?” She sighed. “Pie is amazing.” “But the kissing…” he prompted. She knew she shouldn’t tell him the truth. The guy’s ego didn’t quit. Already. But she found herself nodding. “I was really hoping you’d be bad at it. Like terrible. Like no-worry-of-dirty-dreams bad,” she said. He arched an eyebrow. “And?” She sighed. “It was really good.” “Dirty-dreams-tonight good?” His voice was rumbly and low. She nodded. “Unfortunately.” He looked very pleased by her answer. His mouth curled up. “Maybe we should combine the kissing and the pie.” Her eyes widened before she could stop it. That would be… holy crap she would never recover. “I can’t even imagine that, honestly. I might die.”
