I’ve sworn off hockey players. Until the pregnancy test turns pink.

Noah Scotch is revered in Boston, a veritable god on the ice. I’m a nerdy, newly minted college professor who would rather color code my planner than hit the club scene. Noah shouldn’t look at me twice but when he does, I falter.

Who can blame me?

The sweet talker with the deliciously chiseled abs and sinful chocolate eyes is a force. On and off the ice. One hot and intense night with Noah has me second guessing my lack of a dating life.

Friends with benefits? He offers, I dive in headfirst. Growing up in a hockey family, I know better than to get serious with a player.

But the more time I spend getting to know Noah, the more my intention to keep things casual rings false.

Now, I’ve got a hopeful heart and a baby on the way.

I just need to tell Noah. But when I do, will I end up with everything I never knew I wanted? Or on my own?

Sweet, sassy and sexy as all get out! With a first in a series read of a new author to me, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I dived into the Boston Hawks hockey world in THE SWEET TALKER, but it wasn’t long before I was all in and hooked on every word! The characters are well developed with a close knit supporting cast of family and team members and the drama was intense. I loved every minute of it and can’t wait to dive into the next book!

Noah is an easy to like guy. He’s accomplished yet down-to-earth and even though he has some family drama going on, he’s determined not to let it affect his gameplay.

Indy was a fun character. She’s from a hockey family and swore off of dating in the field after her ex, but Noah is hard to resist and it’s only going to be one night … until one night turns into a friends with benefits relationship … and then a baby is on the way!

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a close knit hockey family with game, friends and family taking center stage.

A stalker threatens the family he never knew he wanted

Travis Colton finds that a passionate night with his co-CEO, Tatiana Davison, rocks his world. Not long after, his life changes further when Tatiana confides her pregnancy…and the fact her life is in danger! To the surprise of relationship-averse Travis, he quickly develops undeniable feelings for the family he must keep safe. But when a stalker homes in, Travis must risk it all.

Scintillating drama added to red hot chemistry makes for an exciting addition to the Coltons of Grave Gulch series! Bringing the brainy Colton into the mix, Dana Nussio weaves a powerful tale of intrigue and danger as Travis and Tatiana mix business with pleasure in COLTON’S NURSERY HIDEOUT and I was hooked from the start.

Travis feels a bit like the odd man out in his family of law enforcement over-achievers, but he’s a steady and creative force at Colton Plastics. I enjoyed him.

Tatiana was easy to sympathize with as the world starts to crumble around her feet every way she turns. Her father is in hiding and under suspicion of being a serial killer, and just when she thought she’d been handed enough to handle for the moment she gets the shock of her life … she’s pregnant!

I highly recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who enjoys a fast paced mystery filled with danger, romance and a powerfully driven family. I’m looking forward to more in the series!

A Mafia princess on the run.

A Bratva prince turned biker.

Will their love start a war?

On the run from an arranged marriage, Tasa thought she’s found the perfect hide-out. After all, her eldest brother and head of her mafia family would never think to search for her in a club full of rough bikers. With her newfound freedom, the first thing on Tasa’s bucket list is to lose her virginity. The perfect specimen comes in the shape of a sexy biker with coal black hair and stunning turquoise eyes.

It’s just her rotten luck to have chosen a man with a possessive streak a mile wide.

After escaping from his Russian Bratva family, Whistle became the resident fuck-up of the Demon Squad MC. For years, he’s tested his brothers’ loyalty with his drunken antics and brawls. Finally ready to grow up, he’ll prove he’s turned a new leaf by taking over the Squad Bar. What he doesn’t expect is for the stutter in his heart when he lays eyes on their newest waitress and her sultry curves. While Tasa may have the kind of sexiness a man would lay his life down for, nothing prepares him for the innocence he discovers right beneath the surface.

As a former denizen of the shadowy mafia underworld, he knows that virgins like her came with rules.

Rule number one: If you break her, you keep her.

Whistle is more than ready to do right by Tasa, if only she played by the rules and did what she’s told. Instead, the little wild cat battles him tooth and nail her hard-fought independence. But as her brother zeroes in on her, what starts out as a fight for her love turns into a war to protect the woman he loves.

Will Tasa stop and stand by the man she loves or will she keep on running?

Attention grabbing characters and lots of lusty drama make for a great next edition in the Demon Squad MC series! WHISTLE’S WAR by Monique Moreau has a touch of sweetness added to the usual rowdy biker life of this series and I loved it. I wasn’t a huge fan of how this one overlapped with the HER HIDDEN VALENTINE novella’s timeline, but the story was powerful in it’s own way enough to make that a minor glitch in an otherwise smooth timeline. I can’t wait for more in the series!

Whistle is loyal and trustworthy to a fault to the family he has made at the MC, but he has a past that was bloody and deadly that not many know too many details about. Where he came from makes Tasa stand out when he meets her because he recognizes the strict culture similarities.

Tasa is a bit naive but is sincerely looking for a better future than what her family had mapped out for her, and she’s not afraid of a working hard to achieve it.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys a motorcycle club series where they aren’t afraid to be deadly, but they have a solid goodness beneath it all for each other and their loved ones.
