This series has already stolen my heart and I regret NOTHING! With book two in her Dare Nation series Carly Phillips continues to pour on the feels with Damon and Evie’s story in DARE TO TEMPT and I loved every minute of it! What more can we ask for than a tight knit family who are all successful and accomplished finding their forever love one sibling at a time? Oh yeah, being reunited occasionally with our favorite family … their cousins THE DARES! So rewarding!

Damon Prescott is delicious. He’s self-assured, he’s adorable and he’s at the top of his game. It didn’t take long for him to get under my skin and have me pulling for him to clear his name and get the girl.

Evie Wolfe is the bomb. She loves being relaxed but can turn into a bombshell when she needs to and takes no lip from anyone. I loved seeing her let her guard down and let Damon crack her hard shell.

I highly recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who loves a fast paced story filled with family, friendship and electrifying passion. There’s always an intriguing plot and the characters are so easy to love. I’m looking forward to the next book!

There’s a bit of a disconnect in the layout because it switches between character points of views and goes back in time periodically, but as long as you pay attention to the details, you will keep track nicely.

When a family is faced with the patriarch of the family having a debilitating stroke, they must put aside their own lives to come together to be by his side. His wife has to rally to his side though their 50 year marriage is in crisis, their oldest daughter has to force herself to muster through the panic attacks her life has turned into as her job is being overtaken by youth and their youngest daughter must put aside her art teacher job and life as a struggling artist to return home to her beloved father … and encounter the man that got away.

I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a delve into family dynamics with honest interpretations of the ups and downs of life along the way.

The plot is thick with tension and angst, yet the emotional connection between these two from early on brings a softness to Declan that we weren’t expecting. I loved their story and will miss this series so!

Declan Blackwood is self-assured and demanding and I loved every minute of him. It was so rewarding to see Bailey touch a part of his heart that he normally keeps hidden away.

Bailey Robbins is sassy and sure that she deserves more out of life. She happens to be in the right place at the right time to make a giant step forward when she catches Declan’s eye.

I highly recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who loves a super steamy romance with lots of sexual tension, unexpected connections and happily ever afters that will make you melt.

Haley Shaw is self-assured and accomplished. She knows there’s something behind Chase’s insistence on getting the job … she’s just not sure what the whole story is!

I highly recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who enjoys a love connection made when it’s least expected that packs a powerful punch of power, revenge and desire.

I was left wanting a more developed conclusion to the story, but I really enjoyed the characters and the story overall.

Reyna Montero is a great character. She’s self-assured and accomplished and she truly cares about the people she sets out to help. Watching her learn to stand up for her dreams was really special.

Sean Wakefield is such a good guy! The reader is half in love from him the first time he steps foot on the pages, so it doesn’t take much to have us under his spell fully. He’s kind, he’s approachable and he’s the most deserving guy around.

I highly recommend this story to anyone who enjoys a sweet romance with easy to connect with characters. Lots of laughs, an adorable dog and just enough suspense to keep us turning the pages to see what the outcome would be.

We don’t move forward that much in the ongoing suspense of the series, but the happily ever after produced in this book alone is spot on. Looking forward to the next in the series!

Harley Wingate might be hard to redeem to some because of the secrets that she kept, but I found her endearing. She left town after an explosive weekend with Grant five years ago and now her return from Thailand might be precipitated by needing to work on funding for her charity endeavors, but the visit is past due in introducing her son to his father.

Grant Everett believes he’s not made for family happiness, but it doesn’t take long as a reader to see the good in him. He can’t believe Harley has kept his son from him for all of these years, but he finds it easier to forgive than he expected as he listens to her and gets to know her version of the world.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys action filled sagas of love, lust and revenge.

I can’t wait for book two!

Lily Harrison is the sweetest. We can’t help but sympathize with her feeling of losing control of her own life, and as she grows closer to Conner and begins to see that she can control her outcome, it’s so rewarding.

Conner Hannah is such a goodhearted guy. I loved every minute of getting to know him and his feisty mama was an added bonus!

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a sweet romance with a down home feel to it as the characters fall under each other’s spell. If you read the original Blackwell series, you will delight in seeing how the grandsons are all doing in their happily ever afters.

Trevor Stone is a bit standoffish, but warms as Coral becomes part of his life again. He’s undercover when he hears her voice and knows he’s going to have to think fast to get them both out of this alive.

I recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who enjoys fast paced action mixed with love and romance. I always leave anxious for the next book in the series to see what will happen next in the ongoing plot.

Oliver Cotterill is such a sweetheart. His dysfunctional family has him believing he doesn’t deserve the love of a good woman, so for almost a decade he’s been fulfilled with Neve being his very best friend … but an obligatory showing at a cousin’s wedding with her by his side might just be his undoing!

Neve Grayson is so easy to like. She’s secretly loved Olly since the day she met him, but has delighted in having him as her best friend since she obviously didn’t do it for him then, but a Pleasure Pact with her girlfriends has her considering putting it all on the line to be honest with him once and for all about how she really feels.

Emotionally breathtaking! With the third book in her Rookie Rebels hockey series Kate Meader brings the emotion and heartache like a pro! When a hockey player at the top of his game has his heart torn out by the loss of his family, he’s got a lot of healing to do.

Gunnar Bond gutted me. He’s such a nice guy, and to watch him hurt in the manner that he does even three years after the death of his family is heartbreaking. It was heartwarming to see him slowly start to come back into himself after meeting Sadie and joining the life of hockey again.

Sadie Yates is a fun character. You know she has a good heart when she inquires about the welfare of the guy who she can tell is pouring his heart out to someone … only she’s the one getting his messages. I enjoyed seeing them make their way towards each other and seeing her family heal as well.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys a hockey romance but with so much more depth and realness included. Always great characters, amazing story lines and down right good hearted people all the way around.
